Meet Anna πΊπ¦! Originally from Ukraine and now living in Canada π¨π¦, Anna loves expressing her creativity through photography, listening to good music, and going on adventures. She even has a funny story about accidentally oversleeping on a bus and waking up in a completely new city β a long ride home but a memorable experience!
Before starting her coding journey, Anna worked in social media management and content creation. Her role included managing social media accounts, posting daily, and rewriting tours for her companyβs website. While she enjoyed her work, moving to a new country inspired her to look for opportunities to start a fresh career.

Annaβs journey with SheCodes began when her older sister saw a Facebook post about coding workshops for Ukrainian women and encouraged her to apply. It felt like the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and build a career in her new home. π

Annaβs experience with SheCodes was both rewarding and enjoyable! She found the communication with the SheCodes team incredibly helpful, which made her learning journey smoother and more enjoyable. One memorable moment for Anna was spending a lot of time trying to get specific conditions to work. Although it was challenging, the effort was absolutely worth it. That sense of accomplishment made the learning process even more exciting! π

With SheCodes, Anna gained the skills and confidence to start a new chapter in her career. She is now working as a Content Manager for a small and ambitious company in Canada that specializes in niche products for the car industry. π Her role involves improving the websiteβs performance, creating new product listings, and enhancing the site by integrating apps through Shopify.

Annaβs coding skills have been especially valuable in her new role.
