It is a great programme that is beginner-friendly. The content is well put together and easy to follow, which makes the whole course enjoyable, with very detailed material that allows candidate to be able to do the work even on their own and not keep going back to the material.

i had no idea about coding when i joined shecodes , but now i can say i have fully transformed and i am aware of my capabilities thanks to the team and matt the amazing teacher.

Great loved every minute of it

What took me most by surprise in this course was not only learning new AI tools or discovering how to build websites with AI, but the level of instruction, precision, and attention to detail throughout the entire development process. I have always heard the phrase, “It’s all in the details,” but this course allowed me to see what that really means in practice. The instructions were not simply about what the AI should follow; they reflected principles that any good programmer or developer should follow. What stood out to me was how the course covered details at every stage — from design and user experience to the details that affect a website's first impression, such as Open Graph (OG) metadata and SEO, as well as performance, accessibility, structure, and implementation. Another valuable aspect was having access to instructor-created guides and tools covering both frontend and backend development with each topic supported by practical, learnable content rather than simply presenting a tool and expecting the learner to figure everything out independently. For me, this is what makes the course much more than an AI basics course. Even someone who already has development or AI knowledge can benefit from it because it strengthens and organizes that knowledge while introducing better practices and workflows. I would describe it as a package of broader skills for AI, software development, and modern digital product building. It does not just teach you how to use AI; it helps you understand how to use it while still thinking like a developer — paying attention to the details that ultimately make a product stand out.

My experience with SheCodes Basics has been amazing! Before starting the workshop, I had little knowledge of coding, but the lessons made HTML, CSS, and JavaScript easy and enjoyable to learn. I loved being able to practise what I learned by creating my own projects. The course gave me confidence in my coding abilities and motivated me to continue learning and exploring the world of technology. I’m so proud of completing my SheCodes Basics certificate and excited for what comes next!

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes Basics Addon course! The lessons were easy to follow, and I liked that I could practice everything while learning. It was fun seeing my projects come together, and it definitely made me more confident in coding.

This is was sooooo challenging. The indentation was a nightmare. Week 4 was the most challenging for me, but I went back a lesson or two to finally understand.

Finishing my final project with SheCodes has been such an amazing and empowering experience! Taking both the traditional coding courses and the new AI Basics courses has been an absolute gamechanger for me. I started out learning the foundational building blocks by hand-coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. From there, I jumped into using AI tools to quickly build out beautiful layouts, set up user sign-in screens, and bring my ideas to life faster than ever. We definitely hit some frustrating real-world snags along the way, like the page crashing on mobile screens and layout buttons freezing up right at the finish line. But fighting through those errors and learning how to fix them is exactly what taught me how to think like a real developer. Plus the checklist came in handy at the end. I am walking away with a final dashboard project that I am 1000% happy with, more than 6 completed projects to show off on my GitHub, and the confidence to keep building bigger things. The SheCodes Plus AI workshop gave me incredible insights into building functional and beautiful applications using artificial intelligence in just two weeks. I mastered prompt engineering for and learned how to seamlessly integrate an AI API into my code. Building an interactive text generator gave me great hands-on experience with AI tools.I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to quickly upgrade their tech skills!

I really enjoyed the Python AI workshop. I moved through it quite quickly because I’d already worked with APIs in the SheCodes front-end courses, but it was useful seeing how the same ideas work in Python. Building a travel planner that combined user input, live weather data and AI-generated results made the lessons feel practical, and I finished with much more confidence using functions, APIs and prompts together.

It was easy to follow, well-structured, and helped me build a good foundation. I’ve gained more confidence with coding and learned a lot. I would definitely recommend it!

Although I'm from a different field (healthcare), I was able to learn a lot because of the easy and gradual language. I recommend it to everyone.

good "I really enjoyed this assignment because it let me bring together everything I learned in the workshop: from wireframing in Figma, to building the React app, to integrating multiple APIs (dictionary, weather, and photos). It was challenging to complete every step — connecting GitHub and Netlify, handling API keys securely, and fixing a few bugs along the way (like a crash when a word wasn't found) — but seeing the final app live and working, with the modern "liquid glass" design, was really rewarding. Fun Project!

The SheCodes AI Basics course was so easy to follow and a smooth experience! The lessons were bite-sized, practical, and easy to follow, no overwhelming jargon, just clear explanations that built on each other step by step. I went from feeling unsure about AI concepts to actually understanding how to apply them, all without it feeling like a heavy lift. Highly recommend it if you want a low-stress, high-value way to get up to speed on AI fundamentals!

I wanted to start creating my own web pages. I really like this module and learned the basics to start coding, I am willing to continue this journey and learn more. You get immediate feedback to fix any issue, you get in the coding homework!

It was great. I learned a lot of new and a bit more difficult concepts.

I really enjoyed the course. Found it challenging at times but in a good way. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because there was no way I could have finished it all doing just 5 hours a week, but I did write a lot of notes to look back on.

Learning about the things you can do with advanced knowledge of Python has been interesting. I am able to understand a little more about how it could be integrated into real life things that I can build in the future

In times of AI, I thought it would be extremely helpful to learn how to implement AI into coding, and this Plus AI module did the best to teach me this. I am very happy that I made this experience and learned so much about AI and coding and how those fields could go well together. It is not about AI replacing coding, but about using the AI to make coding and the experience for the users even better.

I just wrapped up the 6-week React course with SheCodes, and honestly, I'm still riding the high! Going from barely understanding components to actually building real projects with React was such a rewarding journey. The way the material was structured made even the trickier concepts click. I learned so much and my brain broke a few times but it was worth it. Weather apps aren't my thing, but I can appreciate the the purpose of building a weather app and using live searchable data in the advanced coding. And creating loops as opposed to copy/pasting code forcing long repetitive lines of data. And I was having problems with deploying, but staff was super nice and responded quickly. Thanks!!

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Python course. The practical approach made Python much easier to understand, and building my own project helped me put everything into practice.

Another fun but more challenging project to develop a World Clock App. Lots of new coding to learn around dates, times and displaying timezones!

I really enjoyed SheCodes Python Basics. I came into it with some HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience, so it was interesting seeing familiar programming ideas expressed differently in Python. The weather app project was probably the most useful part for me because it brought functions, APIs, dictionaries, dates, loops and debugging together in one proper build rather than learning everything in isolation. I also liked having enough space in the challenges to try things my own way instead of just copying the instructor’s solution. By the end, I felt much more confident reading Python, debugging it, and understanding why the code worked rather than just getting it to run. I’m definitely not done with Python yet.

🌟 I’ve really enjoyed learning Python through this course! It has been a great introduction to coding and has helped me understand how Python can be used to create something practical and interactive. One of my favourite parts was building my own weather app using an API. I learned how to ask the user for a city, connect to a weather API, retrieve live weather information, and display the current temperature, humidity and forecast. At first, working with APIs and understanding the code felt quite challenging, but seeing my weather app actually work made it so rewarding! 🌤️ The course has given me more confidence with Python and has shown me that coding can be both creative and useful. I’m really proud of what I’ve created and excited to continue learning and building more projects! 💻✨

Before SheCodes, I had no degree and no coding background — just a full-time job and a goal to change my career path. The program gave me a clear, structured way to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, even while working full-time. For my final project, I built a landing page for my own business, The Cinnamon Spot, which made the learning feel real instead of just theoretical. I never imagined I would come this far in my AI learning journey. Given my current circumstances as a refugee, I initially believed that pursuing this path would be nearly impossible. However, thanks to SheCodes, I have been given not only the knowledge and skills to explore artificial intelligence but also a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Your support has been truly invaluable, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired. SheCodes has shown me that where I come from does not define where I can go, and for that, I will always be thankful.

The She Codes AI Plus add-on workshop gave me a completely new understanding of how to work with AI. Before the workshop, I was writing prompts without a real sense of why some got better results than others. Through the hands-on exercises, I learned how much context matters, and that clearly framing my goal, giving relevant background, and specifying what I wanted upfront made a huge difference in the output I got back. I put this directly into practice while building my Jazz playlist generator: instead of a vague prompt like 'make me a jazz playlist,' I learned to specify mood, era, instrumentation, and listening occasion, which completely changed the quality and relevance of the results. This workshop gave me a practical, repeatable framework for prompting that I now use well beyond that one project.

The React Add-on took my JavaScript fundamentals and showed me how to structure real, interactive applications with them. Building the dictionary project, handling API responses, managing state with hooks, and debugging issues like mismatched data shapes and failed API calls taught me how to actually trace a bug back to its root cause instead of guessing. I also learned to work with multiple APIs in one project, combining dictionary data with image search, which pushed me to think about how different pieces of an app talk to each other. Going forward, I'll carry this component-based thinking and debugging approach into every project I build breaking problems into smaller pieces, reading the data I'm working with carefully, and not being afraid to dig into documentation when something doesn't work as expected.

This course was instrumental in understanding how cell phones are sized for format and infrastructure.

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to learn something useful. Such a well-organized learning program, where there is an opportunity to use practical projects and gain new technologies through them, is highly beneficial. It was very important for me to be engaged not only in theoretical things but also in the construction of real projects because it boosted my self-confidence and gave the motivation to keep learning. There is one more thing that should be mentioned to make the whole process more effective: there should be an opportunity to communicate with mentors and other people who can exchange their experience.

That was the most satisfying project that i enjoy! There was a few oofs however you know your mistakes right away and enjoy it so much!

I really enjoyed doing this workshop! This is my first time learning how to code in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I have a little prior coding knowledge because I'm currently in college pursuing my bachelors degree in computer science. I have learned some backend coding like Python, C++, and C language, but I always felt like I couldn't fully grasp backend programming. It might be because backend coding never truly interested me.This workshop was a lot of fun and really sparked my interest in exploring front-end development.

During this course, I've applied what I learned about responsive design to adapt my designs. I've checked my designs between different screen sizes using CSS media queries and building flexible components, mainly classes, that can be utilized across different lines of code that share the same class. I learn a little more about creative control when working with images and refining my existing layouts.

I really enjoyed this React workshop! 🚀 It was a great opportunity to take my JavaScript skills further and learn how to build a complete, responsive application with React. Building the Weather App helped me understand components, state, props, API integration, asynchronous data and responsive design in a much more practical way. Seeing the project evolve from the first component to a fully deployed application was incredibly rewarding. I’ve learned a lot and feel much more confident continuing my journey with React and building my own projects.

I currently work full time and am in school for a bachelors in business. Even though I'm not able to dedicate as much time as I would like to these SheCodes courses, the workload is still very manageable and my project came out so pretty!

The Python Advance would have been better if the training was completed through the same program that was available for us to use.

Coding is so addictive !

I had no experience in coding before and the SheCodes program gave me an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and Javascript in a way that was practical and easy to understand. Before joining the program coding was intimidating now it’s enjoyable.

I really enjoyed working through the course, learning new AI concepts, and exploring the different ways AI can be used to create, solve problems and build innovative solutions.

I cannot believe I have just completed my last project! I am thrilled to see how much I have accomplished and how much I have learnt. I am so happy that I chose this training course and that I didn't give up when I felt lost and confused. I believe it is part of the process. This has been an adventure I have enjoyed very much and for that, I recommend it to anybody wanting to learn more about what coding is about.

SheCodes AI Basics gave me a practical introduction to using AI as a tool for learning, creativity, and building projects.
