How Dominika changed her waitressing career to Front-End Development after SheCodes!

Meet Dominika π΅π±! Originally from Poland and now living in Oslo, Norway, Dominika is full of life and loves spending her time outside. Whether it's horse riding, hiking, or traveling, she enjoys staying active and embracing nature. π±
Before she started her coding journey, Dominika was a waitress in a hotel, serving breakfasts and assisting at weddings. She also worked in a warehouse, packing packages from online stores.
Dominika found herself longing for a career that would engage her brain more and involve less physical labor. She initially considered becoming an accountant and even thought about studying accounting in Norway. But thanks to her best friend, who already worked in an IT company, Dominika was introduced to the world of software testing and front-end development. After some encouragement and research, she decided it was time to give coding a shot.
Dominika stumbled upon our coding workshops while searching for a course on how to become a Front-End developer. She showed it to her developer friend, who gave it a thumbs-up, and that was all the reassurance Dominika needed! π She joined Matt in our 60-minute Free Coding Class and was instantly hooked.
Convinced that this was the right path for her, she signed up for SheCodes Front-End and started her exciting coding journey.

At Enabler, Dominika's responsibilities include collaborating with clients on their projects, creating webpages and web applications. SheCodes played a crucial role in Dominika's success. She uses the knowledge she gained from the course at work every day. Learning React was particularly important for her role, and being able to showcase her projects was a significant advantage. Although she has continued to learn and take multiple online courses, the foundation she built with SheCodes was essential for her journey.
