Hannah

Before she started studying with SheCodes, Hannah worked for three years as a 6th-grade teacher at an orphanage in a rural village in Cambodia. 💜 She loves music, doing yoga, reading, and playing guitar. She also has a rescue puppy named Dara! 🐶

Hannah's brother had worked as a developer for over 16 years and suggested she try her hand at coding. This proved to be great brotherly advice! 😁 So for everyone out there reading Hanna’s story - if you have a sister who you think would be interested in coding, encourage her to give it a try!

So Hannah started looking for a coding coding course or program to join - and she found SheCodes! 🤗

Hannah really enjoyed her time studying with SheCodes, especially the SheCodes Responsive workshop - learning to make your projects look amazing on all devices is fun and definitely useful!

"Being able to go back to previous projects from the first 3 workshops and then implement what I had learned...which completely elevated them. Then even better, creating a portfolio site to see all the projects come together in one space was the cherry on top."

Hannah dived right into her classes, completing 4 workshops in just a few months. She loved the visual elements of the workshops 🖼️ and the opportunity to test her skills with small challenges after each class!

Hannah's eye for visuals proved to be a huge advantage for her career. The Instagram page that she created to share her coding journey caught the attention of developers and she was hired for a developer role! 😎 Congratulations Hannah! 🥳

Hannah now works with Loopspeed Ltd and Wingcard.io as a front-end developer. She helped to build both of their current websites!
