This is Anna ๐ต๐ฑ! Originally from Poland, Anna is a passionate photographer who loves capturing nature and landscapes. She enjoys hiking and practicing different sports, and she has a passion for learning new languagesโsheโs currently learning her fourth! She also adores pets and has a lovely dog named Luna.
Before diving into the world of coding, Anna was a dedicated teacher and translator. She even started her own language school, where she discovered her love for teaching and sharing knowledge with her students. After many fulfilling years in teaching, Anna felt it was time for a new adventure, something fresh and exciting like coding! ๐ฉโ๐ป
Anna's coding journey began when she saw a SheCodes ad on Instagram. Curious she signed up for our 60-minute Free coding class. The class was a hit, and Matt, our instructor, made everything so engaging and easy to understand. Hooked by the quality of the content and the excellent teaching, Anna decided to dive into SheCodes Basics and eventually enrolled in all the SheCodes Workshops. She was on a mission to become a Front-End Developer!
What started as a curiosity quickly became a passion. Anna found herself loving the process of learning to code and creating new things. Thanks to SheCodes, sheโs constantly growing her skills and enjoying every step of her coding journey. ๐

Anna is currently working as a freelance Front-End Developer, helping local small businesses improve or create their websites using React.js. Many of these companies had poor-quality websites or none at all, so Anna volunteered to build websites for them in exchange for their feedback, opinions, and recommendations. This experience not only helped her continue learning and broadening her skills but also allowed her to give back to the community.
SheCodes changed Annaโs life by providing her with the skills and confidence she needed to pursue a new career path. Now, sheโs eager to help others by creating beautiful and functional websites while still on the lookout for her perfect job. Annaโs journey is a testament to the power of learning and the impact of supportive communities. Weโre so proud of her! ๐
