Yasrah is a student of ours who has been interested in learning how to code for a while. Sheโs originally from Pakistan and is now living in Chicago, IL, USA. She spends her free time surfing the Internet and shopping. ๐ฅ ๐ย
She received a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Iqra University, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During her studies, she was enrolled in some coding courses and discovered that she had a genuine interest in the topic.ย
โI became interested in coding when I was enrolled in a C++ course during the second semester of my bachelors program.โ
After her studies, she gained work experience as a project office coordinator and an assistant manager. But her interest in coding was always on the back burner. ๐ How SheCodes has Helped to Change Her Life
After learning to code with SheCodes, Yasrah decided that she wanted to pursue a career in development. She felt confident about the advanced coding knowledge sheโd gained throughout her SheCodes journey and continued to improve her online portfolio. She searched on many job platforms and has recently found an internship in front-end development! ๐คฉ
โItโs because of SheCodes that I was able to land my first internship as a frontend developer. I found this job via Angellist. I wanted to work with a start-up where I can gain more knowledge and give my best!โ
Yasrah is now working as a Frontend Developer Intern at a company called Efizza, an online platform for people to sell their property without realtors. She is loving her work so far and gets to work whenever she wants. ๐ Sheโs responsible for designing the mobile app for Efizza. Sheโs creating a new design from scratch and is also putting her front-end development knowledge to good use along the way, of course. ๐ช ๐ป
In her development future, sheโd like to continue learning and eventually work as a Full Stack Developer. We wish Yasrah the best of luck and have high hopes for her in her coding future!!
