Meet Beatriz ๐ต๐น! Born and raised in Portugal, Beatriz is a passionate gamer who loves getting lost in video games, especially retro ones. ๐ฎ Her enthusiasm for technology and creativity has always been a big part of her life.
Before starting her coding journey, Beatriz worked as a Digital Marketing Executive. Her daily tasks included creating engaging content for social media, supporting the design and production team, and contributing to website analysis with the Marketing team. Although she enjoyed her role, she had always been curious about coding and programming.
โI have always been interested in coding and programming. But I was always scared to start because it seemed too hard sometimes.โ
During the pandemic, Beatriz came across a SheCodes ad on social media and thought, "This is exactly what I want to do!" Seeing how beginner-friendly the SheCodes workshops were gave her the confidence to take the first step, and she decided it was the perfect time to start her coding journey. ๐ โWhen I saw how approachable Matt's lessons were, that sparked something in me, and I just knew that I wanted to start coding ๐โ.

Beatriz is currently working as a UI/UX Designer, collaborating closely with developers to create and test product flows and screens.
