After doing a series of workshops with SheCodes this course was cherry on the cake! Helped me to organise my projects in a responsive portfolio and updated my skills on bootstrap.
I'm very happy with this course! There were times when I was completely lost, but everything can be found on Slack. It's a load of new knowledge that I gained and a great experience building a weather app step by step.
Matt Delac is very good at explaining complex concepts, and I can't wait to advance further with the React-class. I particularly appreciate that the workshops are based around specific projects, because it makes it easier understand how we can apply what we've learnt "in real life". It's been challenging, but so much fun! And, I highly recommend Shecodes.
This responsive course was so much fun! I got so excited on the first week that I started designing my own website and I'm happy to have finally coded it into what is going to be my presentation card to start showcasing my work. I still can't believe I have learned so much in such short period. I'm beyond stoked! Thank you, Matt and SheCodes team for everything!

I really liked SheCodes Basic, i think it gave me the esential tools for developing a page which i find a really useful skill nowadays. The expererience was also great because i could do the curse wherever i had internet connection. The classes were short and concise and the team was always there when you needed help.
I really enjoyed learning to code with SheCodes. It was a great balance of fun and challenging. I was genuinely excited to get to the next lesson. I can't wait to see what the next levels have in store.

SheCodes Basics was so fun! I honestly enjoyed the lessons and I felt I was able to get creative with the project at the end of the course. I can't wait to learn what's in the other workshops I signed up for!
The course was challenging but was put in a prespective that made it not as intimidating for a beginner.
While tough & challenging at times, very informative and easy to pick up when the coursework was put into practice. I feel more confident in my coding (especially JavaScript) after these past 8 weeks!
I loved doing the 3-week program! I had been contemplating a career change for a while but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do or how I was going to go about it. When I tuned in for the free class with Matt, I was instantly hooked. I could try it, see if I liked it, and if I did I'd have the option to continue my learning. After completing the third week and finishing my project, I already want to learn more to get even better! I love SheCodes and would definitely recommend trying it out for anyone on the fence.
I knew I wanted to learn coding, but I didn't know how to start. SheCodes provided an easy route for me to familiarize myself with coding and started me off with some basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I've learned a lot and I look forward to learning even more!

The easiest way to start learning coding, where Matt explains coding in such a way that's easy to understand but also easy to review as well. Highly recommended to try the basics course, if you're not sure about coding, you'll get a truly basic understanding of how coding works.
SheCodes Basics is a great introduction to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. This workshop certainly helped me work on the core foundations. I look forward to learning more about programming!
The Responsive course is a really great opportunity to delve into more advanced HTML and CSS than in the Basics and Plus courses. I grew in both experience and confidence with HTML and CSS, and got to learn more about using Bootstrap as well. I'm very glad that I decided to take this course!
I loved all the SheCodes courses that I took, although I definitely got more out of the Basics workshop and the Plus workshop than I did from the React workshop, and that is probably because it is a newer course. I highly recommend SheCodes for anyone who is unsure if coding is something they want to do. These workshops are fairly priced and give you great insight on what coding is all about!

Within minutes of starting, I was picking up new skills that I never thought I'd be able to learn. Matt makes it feel simple. I've been struggling with feeling like I'd never be able to learn coding, and three weeks later I have a web page built. I can't wait to learn more in the next workshop.
Wow I have learned so much in short amount of time! I had a slight knowledge on coding, but not much, especially any Javascript. I am so thankful I came across SheCodes. I had tried another expensive beginner coding course but was completely overwhelmed as a coding newbie. Matt teaches you the fundamentals in such an organized and fun way that I was really able to comprehend what I was learning. I was really impressed on how Matt breaks down each lesson and demonstrates how to implement the code in a video. The lesson challenges following the demonstration really helps with your comprehension and ultimately sticks in your head. Matt is really great about giving you tips and tricks to find more information on your own as well but ultimately what he teaches is great for an intro course. Matt definitely gave me the confidence to continue my coding journey with SheCodes. I highly recommend this course even if you have never coded before!
SheCodes Basic has been such a fun experience! I started out not knowing a thing about computers and was a little nervous about whether I would understand everything, but I didn't have a problem at all! Matt explained every step in such great detail and now I feel so much more confident in my ability to move on to the next workshop! I think SheCodes is a great platform for all!
I took a Linux Systems Administration course which includes scripting. When I was successful at writing my first script to build an apache web server, it gave me so much joy that I was successful. My instructor then suggested to me that I could look into coding since I like writing scripts. So, I developed an interest in learning about coding. So far, I found this coding workshop interesting because I learned a lot, and I could practice my creativity in the final project. After a long day at my fulltime job, I found myself still having so much passion for learning how to code because the topics were mentally captivating. I am thankful for the opportunity to sign up for this workshop.
I just submitted the course and, right now, I have no words! An epic, challenging, but extremely fruitful and enriching journey!

I am currently a French teacher at two high schools in Tucson, AZ. I have been interested in learning how to code for some time, and now I can say I built a functional weather app! I am so happy with the progress that I've made so far with SheCodes Basics and SheCodes Plus, and I can't wait to see what SheCodes Responsive and SheCodes React have in store!
This portion of the course was a nice breather after the first 2 courses. I still managed to learn a lot of interesting code and techniques but it seemed to flow easier this round. I enjoyed being able to built my portfolio and see how Matt would have built his.
SheCodes is the best course out there for those who are new to the coding world! It felt so rewarding when I could read the code and understand the logic behind the syntax. This workshop is very well designed. It was challenging especially giving the fact that I just started coding. At the same time it feels so satisfying to get results after you put a lot of effort in something, which doesn't happen in every field, unfortunately.
I really enjoyed creating the final project and building upon my existing coding knowledge. I would highly recommend this course!

I have done some online coding before but what I really liked about this course is that it shows you how to use VScode and explains how a real developer works things out. I enjoyed the format with videos and challenges especially the extra bits that you had to look up yourself.
I had a great time learning the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I've been involved in website code because of my job in e-commerce but I feel i understand the context so much better now. I will be able to guide my development team better now.
Absolutely loved learning how to make my first weather application! It was definitely difficult but SheCodes pushed me to create something I never thought was possible for myself. I highly recommend the SheCodes Plus program if you are looking to learn a new skill.

I'm so excited about doing my first real project. I always thought coding is so hard and I can't do that. But now I see, I can. Learning with SheCodes is pretty interesting and absolutely easy. All videos are clear and you can understand the lesson very well when you finish homework and watch solution videos.
Best coding bootcamp to develop projects and get hands-on experience.
Making webpages more responsive takes a surprising amount of patience, but it was helpful to see Matt model how to build responsively and get the help of the team on Slack. By the end of my project, I started to feel like I was getting the hang of problem-solving. It's nice to have so many projects integrated into the workshops so I can put new learning into practice.
I have been inspired by my first SheCodes course and can’t wait to continue learning in the next two courses. My passion for coding is growing bigger and I can’t wait to see what a future in coding holds for me.

Totally loved this course! I used to build websites from scratch when I was around 12-years old yet over 10+ years, I just somehow didn't continue with this hobby anymore. With this 3-week course, I wanted to find out if this love for coding was still there and it definitely is! The way Matt teaches is so engaging and motivating, plus the Slack channel with fellow students ensures you can keep each other accountable in completing the projects. My next step? I absolutely loved this course - I knew some basic HTML but learning CSS was really exciting. It was tricky at times (particularly some of the JavaScript bits in week 2!) but it was super practical and really enjoyable. I can't believe how much I've learnt in 3 weeks.
After participating in the 1-hour introduction session by Matt I was convinced that SheCodes is exactly the type of coding course that I identify with - and I was not disappointed ☺️ I really like the concept of learning in small chunks combining videos & exercises. It's pretty cool that all videos are recorded by Matt himself and appear very pure - small stuff such as slips are not edited / cut out, the coding itself is shown in its whole (uncut) so the viewer can fully witness and thus better understand every move. It gives it a personal touch, like learning from a friend 😊 It feels to me that doing the workshops is more than "just" learning how to code. It gives me confidence that I am not bound to what I've studied 💪 It provides me with tools and triggers creative sparks that are useful in many situations. And last but not least - super nice branding! It's a beautifully crafted brand and design. I am enthusiastic and excited whenever I talk to my friends about SheCodes and now I can even show off my SheCodes swag 😎 Looking forward to continuing my coding journey all the way to Pro!
This is has been a long but wonderful journey. I am so proud of the progress I have made during SheCodes Responsive and it wouldn't have happened would it not have have been for Matt and the amazing team at SheCodes. If you are on the fence as to whether this will be the right journey for you. DO IT!. You wont regret it.
I've been comfortable with HTML and CSS for some time but really enjoyed the challenge of javascript!
I've been somewhat interested in coding / web developing for a few years now, but learning everything by myself resulted in quite a mess in my head. SheCodes finally helped me make it all make sense! In addition to the very basics I've known, Matt and his team taught me many new tricks and possibilities that I'm sure will greatly improve my future projects. Every part of the course is designed really well, and even if you struggle with getting something work there's a huge support net made of SheCodes team and other students eager to help you figure things out. This course got me totally hooked on coding and I hope I'll be able to continue to progress!

SheCodes Plus is an exceptional workshop. The building blocks I learnt in Basics were seamlessly incorporated into the Plus workshop and after a few weeks I realised I had surpassed everything I thought I had learned ten-fold. This was at times challenging but always rewarding. I can't believe how much I've learned in 8 weeks, and how accessible it all was.
This was my first experience with coding and I am so happy that I chose this workshop. Matt is a great teacher, everything is well explained and quite easy to follow. I appreciate that I could work at my own pace and re-watch the videos if needed. It seems that coding is something that I enjoy and I am so excited to continue this adventure at SheCodes Plus 😎

Just like the other courses, it has been a great experience. Especially the additional project at the end was nice to still learn some new details within the react framework.
It has been such an interesting course, the learning videos are clear and well structured between topics, and even without any prior knowledge of coding, it is easy to follow and I feel like I have learnt a lot only in 3 weeks! Recommended for anyone wanting to learn something new!

I did the Basics course and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The challenges are fun and I felt like I learnt a lot in a short amount of time.
This was the best experience learning to code for me. I was an absolute beginner when I started. Before I took this class, I never imagined I would be able to code. Matt does a great job of starting you off small, so that you feel victories as you go along to keep you motivated. All of the information about the programming languages was up to date information. This is much better than trying to go it alone. I enjoyed the final project so much and I would recommend SheCodes to any ladies I know that want to learn.
Loved every bit of the responsive course! Going through the course, I noticed myself getting ahead of what video I was actually on thanks to all the cool new stuff I learned! Super excited to keep furthering my coding journey!!

This has been an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Even though I thought I knew how to use HTML and CSS, this course taught me a lot I hadn't even thought of, and the Javascript was an excellent addition.
It was a great experience with a great learning effect! I had so much fun going through the fundamentals. I'm interested to build upon my knowledge and I would be looking into continuing this. Support was also great via slacks. Overall, I am happy that I made the first step. Thank you 🤗

I would highly recommend taking part in the SheCodes workshops! As someone who had never coded and had no knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript before starting my first coding workshop with SheCodes, I found the workshops very informative and more importantly, enjoyable. I had a wonderful time learning how to code and putting what I had learned into action. I felt proud seeing my progress throughout the workshops and completing my final project on my own. If you are hesitating whether or not you should join the SheCodes workshops, I would tell you to go for it. The SheCodes team is very helpful and as a bonus, you get to be part of a wonderful, global community of female SheCoders! :)
