Definitely a very challenging workshop. It was nice to see how powerful React can be and be able to build a weather app from scratch however, it felt very frustrating and some of the lessons seemed just like bits of random pieces of information. I found a lot of youtube tutorials were actually more helpful. Nevertheless, the team was always there to help and solve approached issues. I am very happy to have this introduction to React but it’s definitely not enough to feel fully comfortable using it.

Thanks to the sheCodes team for helping me learn React, I was able to understand it, how to create components & etc. and I created my first weather project. It was easy and I quickly got the hang of it. I recommend everyone to take this course, because the information is well presented and the explanations. Now I can dive deeper into learning React.

If you're thinking about taking the leap into coding, look no further than SheCodes. My own journey started as a self-taught coding teen but was followed by a thirty year hiatus. I had forgotten a lot plus there were so many new things! This was a great place for me to pick things up again. I've been thinking about switching careers, and I came across SheCodes by chance. I've always enjoyed coding, but I've struggled to find clear information online and often felt lost trying to learn on my own. While it was tough at times and I had to search for extra help online during the course, I managed to create my first project: a small webpage that I'm really proud of! Another amazing session has ended. Honestly wowed by the teaching methods and techniques. I was able to learn advanced techniques in Html, Css and JavaScript and also integration of APIs. Plus was a bit challenging but I had fun troubleshooting my JS when it wasn't working. The videos are easy to follow and a huge shout out to the SheCodes team on Slack for always responding to my questions and Athena AI for being my companion.

I had so much fun! it was more intense than the previous project however I enjoyed every lesson and it really showed me how the smallest details can affect your code, it could be the smallest thing you missed but eventually you manage to figure it out thanks to the support from SheCodes team

I had joined the She Codes workshop earlier this year and it has been a total eye-opener. The experience has been inspiring in the sense that i was able to learn and challenge myself and what i thought were my limitations. Despite my initial apprehensions, what started of as curiosity and an attempt to get out my comfort zone ,is proving to be a journey of personal growth and purpose. There were times i felt intimidated and way over my head ,but because of the way the lessons were structured i was able to understand , whilst having zero prior experience or knowledge in coding. Matt and his team's supportive approach and the warm atmosphere they created made it easier for me to engage and participate. Because the workshop is self-paced, i felt less pressured by time, the Slack app was a great platform to engage with other students so i didn't feel alone , even the She Codes Athena AI was a great tool for me and other introverts alike. It is truly all-inclusive. For that i would like to show my gratitude to Matt Delac and the She Codes family for allowing me the opportunity learn and grow ,She Codes has become my start, the foundation in my journey and its' a great way to start truly, I recommend She Codes ,more especially if you are like me, unsure of most things in life, self-doubting but curious and driven. Learning React has been my most challenging workshop yet, but I'm thrilled with my progress. The concepts initially felt daunting, but the structured lessons helped me grasp them better. I spent many hours perfecting my landing page and it was well worth the effort! I learned how to work as a real developer creating this project. My She Codes Plus journey has been incredibly rewarding. In just a short time, I've mastered a range of advanced coding skills using HTML, CSS & JavaScript. In addition, I acquired proficiency in using essential tools like Git/GitHub for version control and collaborating with fellow developers. This SheCodes workshop was amazing! I learned all about AI integration, writing code to work with different AI models, and even how to tweak CSS using JavaScript. Plus, I got to play around with useful JavaScript plugins. Best part? I built my own AI Inspirational Quote Generator using everything I learned. Thanks, Matt and the SheCodes team, for supporting and teaching me so much!

After months of returning to studies in the field of technology, from which I had been away for almost 4 years, I went through a journey from the basics like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to more advanced information like understanding how GitHub works, hosting, exploring Visual Studio Code, and many other knowledge areas that revolve around development. Finally, I have reached the most current and exciting learning, which utilizes and expands all this knowledge: React. I can assure you that it was challenging yet gratifying to apply all the knowledge acquired, as well as my hobbies and patience, to complete this rewarding project. SheCodes is one of the best learning platforms for coding. I myself didn't know anything about coding but I quickly learnt so much about coding in a short period of time, all thanks to Matt and the team. Matt Delac, is an amazing teacher, he breaks everything down so that it can be easy for someone who is a beginner to understand. Also, the challenges/exercises were a great way to exercise and apply what I learnt. This has been an amazing experience, can't wait to learn more. I really enjoyed the challenge and feel I have learned a lot in the process. The support is good and while the schedule helps you stay on track, the team are very flexible if you need more time which is great.

8 weeks of knowledge, not complaining at all. I have learned a lot about search engine, API integration(it was not easy but taking my time and replaying the videos until I got it right helped a lot, also not to forget help from the slack team as well) and so much more. It is crazy that I can now create a functioning forecast weather search app. Grateful for the opportunity to learn such skill at no cost.

It was quite challenging, had to stop and start multiple times because I would have to debug often(My fault because I forget to put semi-colons on my JavaScript). although this ad-on was only for two weeks, there was a lot of information given. I would have liked to link it further (i.e. how we did previously with the list to chose any given city, not just the ones we code), but I understand given the timeframe that is not possible. Hey. I thought I couldn't make it every time I was ending a homework. Turns out that now I know how to code... Really liked SheCodes, I'm also thinking about trying others classes that they have, Thank you Matt and all of SheCodes team for this project.

Its been a tricky couple of weeks but thanks to the SheCodes team I got all the help needed.

The She Codes Basics workshop has been an incredible journey of discovery. Through engaging lessons and hands-on projects, I have gained a solid foundation in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, allowing me to bring my creative ideas to life. Matt is an excellent teacher, who makes learning programming very easy, plus we have the continuous support of the She Codes team. I am grateful for the valuable skills gained through this workshop, which have allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace the world of programming with confidence. I look forward to continuing my coding journey with She Codes.
