This is such an enjoyable way of learning to code, I am so happy that I have started the Basic course, and continuing to SheCodes Plus. I find the videos very clear and detailed and easy to learn from them, always can stop and go back to something to understand it better and practice. It is really helpful to use the Slack messaging platform to ask for assistance and get some advice on some of my challenges.

When we started working on a Weather app during week one of SheCodes plus, the task seemed very intimidating. Especially the requirement to incorporate real time data. Matt did an excellent job breaking down the daunting task into comprehensible lessons. At the end of the course, my Weather app project no longer felt intimidating rather, it was quite fun to work with. It felt easy enough to work on, that I challenged myself to build two additional themes for the app. I love the challenges at the end of most lessons, testing frequently is one of the best ways to retain and recall new information. After completing the SheCodes Plus Workshop, I feel confident in creating interactive web applications. Integrating a weather API taught me how to handle real-time data, and I now understand how to make API calls, parse JSON responses, and display the data dynamically. The app I built is responsive and visually appealing and provides accurate, real-time weather information for any city, along with a forecast for the upcoming days. This project has greatly enhanced my web development skills and given me a deeper understanding of how to work with APIs and asynchronous JavaScript. Huge thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes team!
What an exciting and yet a bit challenging the Plus-Add On workshop has been! I have now built "A world clock" using javaScript and it feels really good to have been able to use JS at an advanced level. It was a deep dive into the JS where my brain was challenged in a good way. I have learnt how to use moment js, timeZone, Select and much more. I highly recommend to all coders that have taken the SheCodes Plus to do the Plus-Add On workshop as well. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to my instructor Matt for his awesome teaching that took me to another advanced level.

Over the last two weeks, Iβve been working on an exciting project, building a World Clock application using moment.tz, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, hosted on Netlify and managed through GitHub. This project has been an incredible learning experience for me. After 2.5 months of working on and finishing two projects β a Weather App that provides real-time data and now the World Clock, I can confidently say that my understanding of coding and app development has improved significantly. With the World Clock project, I was able to integrate different time zones, show the current time in multiple cities, and even find my own location in real time. Thanks to SheCodes Plus, I now feel more confident in my coding abilities. The structured lessons and hands-on projects have given me a deeper understanding of how to build apps, troubleshoot issues, and what to look for when things aren't working as expected. Iβm constantly learning and improving my skills, and Iβm excited to keep building more projects as I grow as a developer. If you're looking to take your coding skills to the next level, SheCodes Plus is an amazing resource that will guide you every step of the way.

The SheCodes Plus Add-on workshop has been a fantastic experience. Building a world clock gave me the chance to learn how to use libraries like Moment.js to add functionalities to my projects more organically (and we all know working with date and time can get tricky). Working on the CSS for this project was also quite fun since I decided to add a custom-made background to it. In addition to that, the challenges and weekly homework assignments really helped provide a hands-on experience.
Taking the SheCodes Plus workshop was definitely a step up from the basics! The lessons were more challenging, pushing me to think critically and apply what I had learned in new ways. Building projects with live data and advanced JavaScript tools was both exciting and rewarding. It wasnβt always easy, but Iβm proud to say I made it through and learned so much in the process!
