Great way to discover a world of programming.

This was the best decision I’ve ever taken!!! I had joined SheCodes Basics because a friend recommended me to try out coding and turns out I fell in love with it. Matt is an amazing teacher, the way he explains everything made this so much easier. I am 100% taking the next workshop. This was was so much fun!

I joined SheCodes to switch my career from Full Stack Developer to fully Front End Developer. I've learned a lot so far and am looking forward to the next Responsive workshop. I love SheCodes and I recommend it to whoever wants to start learning coding without going to college or university!

SheCodes was a wonderful experience as a beginner! I come from a background in Healthcare and have always thought of tech and coding as intimidating; however, the lessons per week were well executed. Matt was able to teach the concepts with good detail and there was a lot of resource available, along with support on Slack. I thoroughly enjoyed how the pace was scheduled per week but you could also go through them at your own pace. The combination of lessons with the small challenges, weekly homework, and the final project allowed you to test your knowledge and skills. You are also taught how to use the internet to look for solutions or more explanations to the different concepts in HTML, CSS and JS, which was good practice for real world application. Overall, my experience doing the Basic Workshop has given me a new confidence in my new skillset in HTML, CSS and JS. This experience has filled me with excitement and looking forward to more opportunities in programming. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team!

I have zero background in coding and this was so much fun for me. I remember hating the one class I took in college and retained nothing from it. This is nothing like that! Highly recommend it & the help is pretty fast for when you do get stuck.

The workshop was so much fun journey for me as an absolute beginner for coding. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the workshop has encouraged me to complete the course.

Learning how to build the weather app search engine was a 360° journey. At times I felt like the queen of coding, easily and quickly grasping Matt's teaching, other times I didn't know what to do with myself to make the code work! Nevertheless, the beautiful and unique quality of SheCodes is that you are never really on your own, help is always and quickly on the way, and other code goddesses are in your same situation ready to support you! I genuinely recommend SheCodes plus Bootcamp as it is a highly rewarding experience :) Code-on!

This workshop has led me to learn new things about how to intergrate real data in my outputs, and how to finally deploy my works on the web. It feels amazing to be able to produce something useful like a working weather app. The whole course was challenging for a beginner like me, but the lessons were broken down into simpler ways, and terms; it's just really matter of understanding it well, and practicing more.

I was nervous to start out as I always saw coding as such a daunting & complex skill, with many terms I'd never heard of! Matt & the SheCodes team made the whole learning experience so fun and interactive, with a huge sense of community & support. Joining SheCodes started with a simple curiosity to learn how to code when scrolling through my Instagram that Thursday afternoon. A free coding class turned into days of learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which became one of the best experiences I've had in a very long time. And this is just the beginning!

SheCodes has taught me so much coding in 3 weeks than I've learned in a lifetime! I am super grateful for these skills I've learned and am so stoked for the career path that lies ahead for me with coding! I'm so proud of all the assignments and projects I was able to come up with and create. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for all the help and learning, and for helping me realize the career path I am most passionate about!

It's been an amazing experience to get to learn all the material Matt has provided. The biggest challenge was JavaScript. But even when it appears to be overwhelming, Matt does an amazing job breaking it down. I had plenty of material to reference. The video material was also not so dense. This meant I could easily refer back to them when I needed to review information. I absolutely loved this program!

Learning to code has been on my To-Do list for the longest time. I finally took the leap and I'm so glad that I did! Not only are the videos in a learning style that I thrive on. It builds upon past steps so it's not a flood of information overwhelming the learner. If you're a person who enjoys puzzles, you'll love coding and seeing what you can create!

I find it insane how much I've learned with SheCodes! I particularly enjoyed learning the API integration. Would highly recommend it no any SheCodes Basic alumni. Plus is for sure harder, but everything you're taught makes a lot of sense. The challenges and the help given on Slack are a plus for me :)

I have learnt so much from the SheCodes basics lessons. It has trully been a fruitful experience. Now i know how to code in HTML, Java and CSS languages. My knowledge of web design has been advanced and i am very grateful and excited.

Lovely way to approach coding!

I loved having the freedom to take classes at my own pace. I feel like I still have a long way to go in coding but this course has given me the tools to take the first steps. This "basic workshop" also gave me the necessary push to look for a improvement in my career.

This course delivers exactly what is promised; I was a complete beginner with absolutely no coding experience and now I know the basics. A fun and engaging course, which takes things slowly and teaches you everything step by step.

Doing the introduction workshop to coding was FUUUN! Matt's workshops are really understandable, even for people like me who didn't know anything about coding. I went from knowing absolutely nothing to knowing a little bit of something about coding in no time! Learning new things is a passion of mine, and this made me want to understand the art of coding even more. I am so glad to see a platform that truly cares about advancing others in their passions.

I am so happy that now I can say I built a functional weather app. It feels so satisfying to get results after you put a lot of effort in it! Perfect introductory course for absolute beginners! You can watch the lecture videos as much as you need, and every lesson has the challenge to put freshly learned knowledge into practice! With all the support on Slack with timely response and communication, I feel more motivated and confident in keeping on learning than ever!

Easy to understand and very fun to develop new skills.

These first few weeks have been incredible! It's been great to brush off my Computer Science GCSE skills! The workload is just right. Sadly in my case, other obligations meant I was late to some deadlines but the team we're more than considerate in giving a little extra time. If you're looking for a starter course in HTML, CSS and JavaScript then this course is for you!

Great introductory course for anyone that is interested in coding! I love how there are challenges at the end of each lesson to apply knowledge into practice. I look forward to learning more about coding! 😄

At first, I was hesitant about taking up Coding classes. Since I am a beginner at coding, however I have been interested in gaining more knowledge about it. I have to tell you, trying out SheCodes classes was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was a great and challenging experience.

SheCodes Plus is a thrilling challenge that I enjoyed from start to finish. While there is a lot of content, Matt breaks it all down into small chunks and challenges that drive home the principles needed to complete a project I never would've thought I could create.
