Participating in SheCodes Responsive Workshop was an incredible experience. While I gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, the journey was not without its challenges. There were times when I spent hours troubleshooting code bugs and figuring out why something wasn't working as expected. Each difficulty, however, became a valuable lesson, teaching me perseverance and deepening my understanding of responsive design. Learning about SEO and hosting was a game-changer, helping me build professional, user-friendly websites. Thanks to SheCodes, I now feel confident in my ability to create fully responsive web applications from scratch, knowing that I can tackle any coding challenge that comes my way.

I can't believe how much you get to learn in the Basic course! I had a basic CSS understanding for the little bits I needed to do for work, but as I'm learning web design I wanted to be able to customise if needed, but it felt very scary. Having the course broken down into separate languages/formats each week allowed you to get the understanding for how each bit worked independently and how they work together for you to build functioning code and web pages! It didn't feel overwhelming, though a few bits took a bit of getting the hang of (kept putting my brackets in the wrong place!), but you feel proud and accomplished when it works. Feel that I might want to look at the other courses to see how I could advance and what else you can learn.
I am really enjoying the flow of this course: tutorials, challenges and projects make it a great way to learn and apply the learning.
SheCodes Plus equipped me with a solid foundation in web development. I mastered HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling me to create interactive and visually appealing web pages. When my husband started his coding class, I was intrigued and wanted to learn coding myself. I looked online and tried a few coding websites, but had the feeling I wasn't learning anything. As someone with previous experience with HTML & CSS, I still felt that I benefitted from this course. I learned a few new tricks and hacks, but what I appreciated the most was to understand how to integrate JavaScript into my projects. Learning some basic JavaScript on SheCodes Basic has been far easier than trying to understand it on other (free) platforms I have tried.
This journey has honestly been one of the most existing things I have done this year. It challenged me at times but luckily for me, I thrive most when I'm challenged. SheCodes is a game-changer !

It's been an amazing journey learning with Shecodes despite taking a long break in between due to busy work schedules, the learning videos are very helpful for revision and catch ups. Also, Matt is doing a great job with the tutoring, for someone like me coming from an accounting background and with zero coding experience, I can now boast that I have a great insight into the world of coding.
React lessons were pretty easy to digest thanks to Matt & his great team and I appreciate all the effort put into this amazing project that introduced me to the wonderful world of React.

The bite-sized lessons were especially helpful when working around a full-time work schedule. Before taking SheCodes Basics, I had little to no experience in coding. This was a really great crash course into Reactjs! I actually signed up for this workshop 2 years ago but due to life getting in the way I ended up pausing on finishing this even though I was on week 5 of the course. 2 years later I finally had the time to invest back in myself and I logged back on recently. I pulled up my half-finished project and I, to my amazement, could still remember quite alot of what i had learned in 2022. I ended up rewatching all the courses over this last week and half or so just to refresh myself on the content and I was able to finally finish my weather app! It's not perfect but i'm really proud of the fact I finished it. Super thankful to the shecodes team for the quality of the teachings, so much so that I was able to remember so much of the foundational pieces even years later. I had fun learning about all the new updates to Reactjs as well!
