I have been trying to learn to code for a while now, and I have started programmes with several training providers. As a complete beginner (and someone in her 40s who is TERRIBLE at all things computers!) SheCodes is by far the best I have found. The explanations are clear, there are plenty of resources, the course structure is fantastically well organised, and - most importantly for me - you feel like part of a community and have the reassurance that help is there if you need it. I enjoyed learning how to code. The learning modules were very easy to follow and was explained well. I didn't realise I had done a little coding before on tumblr years ago when I would modify the theme of my page. I think I will try out the other workshops sometime soon in the future.

The most difficult thing for me was to accept that some things in React are just NOT logical, you have to accept it and learn it by heart.

I've always had an interest in web development I just didn't know where to start. Luckily I found SheCodes. They made it easy to start with no experience from learning the basics in VS Code to creating a portfolio. I've had so much fun learning I can not wait to start my next adventure with these new skills.

It has not been an easy journey for past few weeks but with help of slack pupils and SheCodes team, I managed to get through.
The SheCodes React course has been the hardest one so far, no doubt about it. React is a powerful and in-demand framework, but getting the hang of it wasn’t easy. There were times when I felt really challenged, but the support from the team on Slack was absolutely amazing and helped me push through every hurdle. By the end of the course, I was able to build a fully functioning app on my own, and the sense of accomplishment was incredible. This course has brought me so much closer to my goal of becoming a professional developer, and even though it was tough, it was 100% worth it.
The SheCode program has been an absolute game-changer for me! Matt has a remarkable talent for breaking down complex coding concepts into easy-to-understand steps, which helped me overcome my overwhelming feelings about coding. A really great experience. I gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, as much as SEO and user-friendly websites. Although I came across a few bugs and wasted some time working them out, each one turned out to be a valuable learning experience.
