The SheCodes Responsive workshop was very informative. I was able to apply all the fundamentals I learnt in the previous workshops and also learn more so I could create my own Responsive portfolio. I am really grateful to the SheCodes team for such a great workshop!

This workshop was a great in teaching the fundamentals of Vanilla JS and APIs. I enjoyed making the weather app. It would be nice to get another project that we can create without the help of the video instructions in order to apply the knowledge and learn through further practice.

A comprehensive introduction to such an important coding language. The tasks are really interesting and everything is so well explained. I've really enjoyed it, and can't wait to develop my Python skills further!

SheCode really is so good

The Plus Add-On world clock project is very fun. I learned a lot in a short time.

Wow! This was amazing. Matt is a really good teacher. I loved how all the lessons were broken up in to smaller pieces. It made it less overwhelming and felt like I was flying through it. Before I began I was worried I would get frustrated and quit but that never happened. Instead, I am addicted and want to learn more! I was so proud of myself after doing any little piece of coding and it working. Love that instant gratification.

This course was both intense and enlightening! I really enjoyed learning about react js and how to use it. The lessons made everything a lot less intimidating and helped me understand the concepts better. I already feel more comfortable with my level of technical knowledge. I really enjoyed the course and would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to learn coding. The workshop helped me develop skills in creating responsive websites that works on different devices.

This dictionary project was built using React, and it is one of my favorite projects. I had the opportunity to practice creating effective components, functions, and sending properties between them to improve my application. I integrated two APIs in this project: the SheCodes dictionary API and an images API. I practiced using loops and the map method to pull and display precise data from the APIs. I worked in depth on styling the responses from the APIs to create different sections for my dictionary and to ensure the images fit the screen. I enjoyed this workshop.

It was a challenging workshop but I really enjoyed it. Matt knows how to share his knowledge and made complex topics easy to grasp I highly recommend this workshop for anyone looking to enhance their front-end skills!

I took an Introduction to Computer Science class and I did not like the class due to my lecturer's teaching style. However, finding out about SheCodes and my mentor constantly encouraging me to try new skills, I decided to give coding another chance. Truth be told, I wish I tried coding sooner. I am so glad that I have successfully completed this certificate. I genuinely cannot wait to make use of in the real cooperate world and create something of myself. I do aim to continue with SheCodes in order to advance my coding skills and maybe one day, be a software developer.

I was looking for a course to boost my career and I found SheCodes. I am very satisfied of what I have learned until now and I can't wait to start the new module.

It took me sometime to finish the basic course but - I did it! 💪 The first week was a little hard for me to follow, which make sense because this is my first ever coding class but as I build more stuff and get acquainted with it, I started to really enjoy it! My favorite is java script because it took sometime for me for things to "click" with CSS and when it did it made a lot of sense. Doing the challenges, home works and final project really helped a lot because actually seeing the result of your work feels good and helps you get more motivated. I absolutely love this course, I was able to pace it at the right time specially I am a SAHM, and it can be extremely challenging to make time. Thank you SheCodes team for your patience with me!

Thank you for the opportunity to learn coding .I recently graduated and have been looking for a job and a friend recommended that while I am waiting for feedback on my applications I should come learn a few things on SheCodes. My biggest motivation was my partner who has been learning coding and doing some codes for forex ,he helped me when I was stuck and sometimes frustrated while learning here. Interesting exercise of the use of Java script and APIs

SheCodes Basics was the perfect introduction to coding! The lessons were clear, engaging, and broken down in a way that made even complex topics easy to understand. The hands-on projects really helped reinforce each concept, and the community support was amazing. By the end of the program, I felt confident in my ability to create a basic webpage from scratch. SheCodes opened up a new world for me, and I can't wait to keep learning!

I am so surprised with the work we have had to do, its been easy at times and a little difficult too. I have learnt a lot with this course and would be interested in doing further courses with SheCodes in the very near future. I specifically loved doing the final project, I ended up doing two, one at the end went wrong I am still trying to figure out what went wrong. But it has been a steep learning curve and fun at the same time.

It was great to revisit Javascript and learn about AI in this course. In addition to learning about API integration, I enjoyed putting together the final project and bringing the HTML, API/Javascript and CSS together when building the poem generator. I particularly enjoyed the second week where I could follow along when building the final project: for me, this was really helpful as I could see the workflow of how I could build something like this again in the future.

What a stressful journey but i did it. With more practice and patients i believe i can be a pro.

This has been such a wonderful experience! The last computer language I learned was Fortran (I'm no spring 🐔). But it was so much fun, especially since my two daughters who live in Europe were also registered for the course at the same time. It was a great way to hold each other accountable to get the assingments completed. We are also planning to enroll in the SheCodes Bootcamp. Thank you for developing such a wonderful program!

Creating this weather application from the ground up has greatly improved my web development skills. I gained practical experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, mastering the art of structuring, styling, and dynamically updating web content. Fetching live weather data from APIs using Axios and integrating it into the app with JavaScript provided a valuable learning experience. Additionally, managing user input and accurately displaying weather forecasts enhanced my grasp of JavaScript functions and asynchronous operations. Overall, it was an excellent opportunity to elevate my front-end development abilities and deepen my understanding of API integration from a programming standpoint.
