This was a great experience and I learned a lot in the last 3 weeks. Matt's videos have been very easy to follow and the challenges were really interesting. I will continue my learning and recommend this course to everyone who wants to start coding.
Love it, it's so easy to understand and learn from the tutorials given. Having being able to practice on almost each lesson and having 24/7 accessible help if needed just makes this workshop incredible.
This workshop gave me the right tools to unleash my creativity. I would have never imagined how addictive coding is. After spending so much time on the internet I am starting to understand how everything works and I am also amazed by how much work there is behind the scenes. I've had some coding background that I rarely used in my professional life. But I've been in search of a short and structured coding workshop and this was perfect to expand my skillsets quickly. Ridiculously good. SheCodes is the an incredible platform to kickstart your experience in coding through its set of workshops. Its learning platform, slack community and support from the teachers is what I believe stands out the most when compared to other courses.
I loved to go over all the learning about React again and being able to see how much easier everything already flows and being able to go a few steps further. And the good news are the further you go, the easier it seems. Thanks so much Matt and João for the extra tips.

I always wanted to understand coding better but never knew how to start and I have always looked at it as "a monster". A friend of mine signed up to SheCodes and called me up to the same. I must confess I do not regret it at all. The course gave me a great first glimpse into the world of coding and the way it is organized (the challenge of online classes was highly succeeded) and it is very instructive, providing you lots of fun! The team is super friendly, and knows how to explain things in an accessible way. SheCodes team creates an environment in which every question is valid and "not stupid" and everyone feels free to ask any doubt. It was a great learning weekend and gives you end the course thinking about learning more about coding :)

I wanted to start coding for a while but couldn't find the right starting point. There is a lot of online material available, but it's so easy for a beginner to get lost in it! SheCodes provides everything you need to start coding - clear and structured material, challenges, that are adequate to your current knowledge level, a great teacher and a supportive team. And it was so much fun! After just one weekend, I learned so much and became "hungry" for more! Thank you guys, you are doing a great job!

When I took my multimedia master's degree I chose to take classes of "coding" HTML, CSS and PHP with SQL. The teacher was good but the truth is that I was very worried about getting the master's degree and I just memorized things. I left university wanting to escape everything that was frontend or backend... Until SheCodes came to me on Instagram post. And... I confess that I signed up to be sure that the "code world" might not be something for me. Completely wrong, Matt and SheCodes's team - in just two days of Workshop - gave me a new passion. SheCodes was an amazing experience...I was a bit terrified that I couldn't keep up, but Matt and all the team are really extraordinary! The course pacing is just perfect for you to understand everything, and all the challenges, homeworks and project are a fantastic way of practicing all you've learned. This a very valuable experience, gave me more tools to evolve profesisonally...and what can seem at the beginning like a seven-headed monster can be actually really fun to learn!

SheCodes was a weekend well spend. The amount of stuff that you learn in only two days is incredible. Even though the class wasn't on site like previously planned, Matt was able to reach the participants via video-conference like no other! He's a very good teacher and being able to teach a bunch of newbies how to create an HTML page in one weekend says a lot. I did find the workshop helpful and motivating, but I felt that it wasn't challenging enough for me. This also could be because I have some previous knowledge of programming in Python, but that was 6 years ago. I also thought that there would be more material covered in the final week. Regardless, I really like how the course was set up and organized into small steps. It really helps for looking back at points that need to be reviewed. I would recommend this course to someone who knows absolutely nothing about coding, but I think it's not challenging enough for people who have at least a basic understanding of coding already.

I really liked SheCodes Plus course because you can build your own vanilla application end to end, while learning step by step with classes and challenges. At the same time you can ask for help and help other people in the same course, which is great!

With SheCodePlus, I was able to expand my basic coding knowledge and gain some insight to the current technologies used in web development. This was a great starting point in my pursuit of coding knowledge. The tech support team is responsive and supportive. The course is very fast-paced, and great for those with some knowledge, beyond the initial SheCodes program. A lot of material is presented in a short period of time. In hindsight, I have realized that a slower paced course would have personally been a better fit for the amount of material. But I am overall satisfied with the course. I will continue my pursuit of coding knowledge to further my understanding.

SheCodes is a great workshop for beginners to fully understand how HTML, CSS and Javascript works. I always tried to learn code by myself but the aproach you have witch a teacher explaining it is very different than just being alone learning. Matt has a lot of patience and I learned a lot with his classes!

Matt explains very well and the hands-on exercises are close to his examples, but require a bit of adaptation, which is great to not only reproduce, but also think by yourself.
