SheCodes has given me the confidence to pick up coding again. Each video was easily digestable and I loved putting the theory into practice at the end of each one. The end of week workshops were challenging but no so much that I wanted to throw my laptop out of the window. Thank you Matt and team!
This is a solid course that covers the basics of coding in an easy, comprehendible way for beginners such such as myself. I learned a lot not only from Matt, but from previous students through the platform Slack; having a place to communicate with others and ask questions while going through the course lessons was super helpful and informative. The workload was never overwhelming, so I was actually able to enjoy the process of learning something new without having a deadline looming over me! I highly recommend this class!
At first I was affraid because I had no clue about coding, but this workshop taught me how easy it is, I will definitely keep learning, the possibilities are endless!
The React course was definitely a lot more difficult than the other SheCodes workshops. Matt always does a great job of explaining everything as simply as possible, but I definitely still struggled a bit to conceptualize React. I had to do some more outside studying to help understand the context and how to best make React work in my project. I also felt like with this course, sometimes it was better to watch several videos at a time before making changes, instead of adding changes for each video, as sometimes something would "click" better after seeing the connections between several steps/concepts. All in all, SheCodes React was by far the most challenging, and frustrating at times, but not impossible with determination and with the Slack community support.
I am absolutely blown away! I honestly wasn't expecting an online workshop to be such a good learning experience. Matt is an incredible instructor and he made the lessons really fun. Every concept is broken down into bite sized portions, and while his lessons are clear, he also doesn't spoon feed you. You get to learn through hands on practice and trial and error, which really helped me understand the "why" behind the concepts. This course was challenging while still being totally doable. I was able to ask a ton of questions and get quick and helpful answers from both the other students and some awesome professional coders. Overall it's a 10/10! Thank you, SheCodes Team! π₯³

The workshop was great learning experience. It was lot of fun to create my own weather app with HTML, CSS and Javascript and host it. Can't wait to start the React workshop.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first workshop at SheCodes. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience and I have learnt a lot. Matt has a way of explaining complex concepts in a simple fun way.
Even though the course was only three weeks long, I learnt a lot about Javascript, CSS and HTML. I started with no knowledge at all and I thought I would struggle quite a bit but in the end I gathered a good understanding of programming and I feel comfortable with the topics we studied. I can't wait to continue with SheCodes Plus. π
Another fantastic workshop led by a great teacher! The final project has given me great insight on Javascript, React and API's. SheCodes is not your typical coding/web development course - you have to come up with solutions and not just copy and paste code. When you are really stuck there is great level of support on Slack.
I absolutely loved this workshop! I wasn't sure that I would be able to understand all of the content, but Matt is a great teacher! I, now, feel confident that I can continue with my education in technology!
These last few months have been so difficult but somehow I was still able to get this project done and still figure out life during a pandemic. Truly can't wait to learn more and grow to be a front-end developer.

In few words: I fell in love with coding. Before the workshop I had nothing to do with HTML, CSS or JS, it didn`t make any sense to me. I`ve really enjoyed the course, it was really motivating to have challenges and the way, how Matt explained everything was superb. Easy and fun. I know I will have lot of benefits from this workshop, and can`t wait to start the next one!
I had a really good time learning to code! It was understandable and you had a deadline so it was superfun to challenge myself with this. I have never coded before and now, its making sense and it feels like I am in a new world and can totally benefit from this course in the future!

I highly enjoyed the Plus course. It really helped increase my understanding of javascript and the challenges provided great stepping stones to the final project. The API application was a great skill to learn and was applied in a useful way. I can't wait to do continue learning with SheCodes!
The react course was very basic. I appreciate that the instructor wants us to have a solid react foundation but I personally would enjoy a more intermediate level of react as well as industry convention when it came to file compartmentalisation.
Unfortunately, the course's quality is below the expectations. It was a bit frustrating.
I truly appreciate the program and all of the prompt help! I was able to move at my own pace and actually learn the material. I love SheCodes!
I have started to know SheCodes by doing the "SheCodes Workshop". I was so fascinated by it that I decided to do "SheCodes Plus React". I just finished my second course with them and I feel so empowered by everything I learned in here. SheCodes Plus is great if you are looking for a new challenge and you want to learn something new! The learning process is very clear and you can always go back and review some of the older concepts! Great course!Can't wait to start React!

A well structured and organized workshop! It was challenging at first but you just have to keep going. The project was a fun way to practice what I learned. After completing the first project, I'm excited to learn more about what else I can do with code.

I learned a lot in this program, and it gives you a great sense of accomplishment to be able to complete the weekly challenges; however there were a few aspects that, I believe, need to be explained in more detail. Otherwise it is a great course that gives you a in depth sense of what coding is like.
I started to learn coding by myself, which was sometimes not very motivating, specially when I had thousands of questions. When I joined SheCodes, I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Matt's explanations and examples are super clear, and the community and the SheCodes technical support is a big plus. I am very grateful that I joined and I can only encourage every woman, who has an interest in coding (no matter your background) You can do it!

This course was incredibly fun and I had an absolut blast! As a complete beginner, I was systematically introduced to the world of coding and Matt makes it easy to enjoy the new topics. The division into smaller sub-chapters and the posibility to organise my studytime by myself helped me a lot!

I never needed to use the help service so can't say anything about that, but for the one motivated to learn this is a great way to get a structure to the learning process. Also, the videos are very easily formulated so anyone with the will can easily follow.
I loved this course! The explanation that Mat gives is so clear and he teaches exactly the kind of stuff I wanted to learn in a basic course. The set up of weekly learnings and homework (with deadlines π) worked so well for me, as well as the challenges after each video. This way the learnings could be put into practice immediately!
It was a big challenge, with a lot of work, but in the end the result was awesome and I learned a lot about Front End Development and how to do it. The way that Matt teaches us is really easy to understand JoΓ£o also had an important role in my progress, helping me with each doubt I had. And also Daniela, organizing my course calendar to fit with my current full time job, so that I could complete the course.

Extremely proud to have been a part of the SheCodes community! Coding always seemed very interesting but at the same time scary and overwhelming. I decided to take a chance after seeing an intro video by Matt Delac who does a phenomenal job at teaching you step by step! I strongly encourage anyone who has had an interest, to give it a try!
Each assignment increased in difficulty, as it should, but the SheCodes staff was extremely supportive throughout the process. They don't just give answers but tries to help you narrow your focus, so you can identify and fix your own errors.
I enjoyed this course very much, I learned so much in such a short time. All the videos are very well made and explain, the challenges kept me motivated. One of the best decisions I made recently.

After seven years working for big corporations in logistic I have started my biggest project which is my family. I have two wonderful little kids which are actually owners of all my time. I am looking for new challenges in new areas (not to become completely crazy ) and coding was one of the things which I have always wanted to learn. Shecodes provides a program which is perfect for busy woman like all mothers are. I am super happy that i have decided to invest into that workshop. I started my journey as a refresher to prepare for an interview. I chose this bootcamp because I was very impressed with Matt's mission of helping more women to start careers in tech. Matt and his staff, Joao and Daniela just to name a few, are very dedicated to each student. I'm amazed by how they manage to answer everyone's question in our Slack community. SheCodes helped me to discover where my skills were deficient while also rekindling a love for coding that was different from classroom learning. I recommend this coding bootcamp for beginners because Matt teaches on a level that anyone could understand. But with anything it will take commitment, hard work, asking lots of questions, if you don't understand a concept break down the concept until you understand it, and never by any means quit on yourself for you are worth it.
Challenging, but I learned some decent information in an organized manner that I would not otherwise be able to learn from simply scouring the internet.

This was a great introduction to coding. I really liked the way it was broken out into digestible segments that made moving through the material easy and motivating. The course load was very manageable with a full time job and you learn a lot in a short period of time!
I found the workshops challenging-in a good way! Definitely requires your commitment to the course material but it is an awesome introduction to the world of coding. It's self-paced and engaging and the environment is focused on learning through first-hand experience.
I have learnt so much in a short space of time, and can see just how much there is out there to keep learning. The course is great providing a brilliant start off point into the world of coding.
These were such amazing courses! I loved learning step by step the "how to" in basic HTML, Javascript, and CSS to the intensity that came with the React application. It's been a wild ride, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Matt's way of teaching allows people to actually learn and absorb the information given.
Matt is a great teacher, teaching at the right pace and explaining everything perfectly. I really liked of how the classes and weeks are divided, the pace is perfect for someone who works and is doing this after hours! Really loved it, I feel like I know the basics of these languages pretty well!
SheCodes is changing my life in ways I didn't expected! Great introduction to coding, everything is explained in really digestible modules and comes together very quickly.
The course was amazing for beginners: an intuitive setup with great, short and easy understandable videos to learn all essential basics of coding combined with hands-on tasks and projects and a very logical and useful program structure. I loved that I could do everything at my own pace and was still motivated with the fixed deadlines and could get support whenever needed.
I really enjoyed the course and did learn the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. It was a great experience - I would definitely recommend it.

SheCode is the extraordinary course where anything can be possible. I never imagined I could create a weather app! The work team is fantastic: the video lessons held by Matt are super precise and easy going, Joao gives an answer to every doubt, (thanks for always being ready to help!) and Daniela with her support was also really great! I'm so glad I took on this course as it has gained me a new skill. Initially I was never interested in coding as it looked too confusing for me however, this course taught me the importance of coding and it's taught me that coding is not too difficult to understand, I even managed to finish the course a week early!
I was a little hesitant at first, but this workshop was so fun! The explanations in the videos were very understandable. I loved how the meticulous aspect of coding sparked a sense of creativity I haven't felt passionate about in such a long time! Definitely going to keep learning. The classes are very well explained, and I love that you can go back to all of the videos in case you missed something, and that you can do it in your own time. Also I find it great that there is a video for the solution as well, so you can compare what you did.

Loving the step by step video lessons and the live homework help! All the knowledge we learned were practical and can easily be applied to workplace. With all the materials available online, there's no excuse not to dive into the world of tech!
This last workshop was on a completely different level than the first one, but still exciting as always! Even though it was quite challenging sometimes, I learned a lot and the feeling of accomplishment I felt once I finished my project made everything a great experience overall!

I love the step-by step instructions to start programming as well as the explanations and the encouragement to be independent and find out of the box solutions or try to solve the puzzles by yourself instead of immediately searching for assistance. It is an amazing program full of talented woman from all over the world. I've learn A LOT in just 3 weeks. Totally worth it.

The project was difficult but I learned a lot. Every time I repeated "try and error" and gradually I did noticed that my knowledge is growing! I still have many things to add or recreate but so far I am satisfied with what I accomplished and the lessons with SheCodes!
