SheCodes Bootcamp has been an incredible learning experience for me! Coming from a finance background, I am eager to expand my skill set, and the bootcamp provides the perfect opportunity to dive into coding. The hands-on approach and supportive community make it easy to grasp new concepts, and I now feel more confident in my technical abilities.
I recently had the opportunity to participate in the SheCodes workshops, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The workshops were well-structured, engaging, and provided a comprehensive introduction to coding. SheCodes Plus was wonderful. It builds a lot on the basic knowledge that I have gained in Basics and Basics Plus workshops. This Workshop was challenging but also very rewarding and I appreciate how the workshop teaches you to troubleshoot your issues with the build, as well as being creative in finding the solutions through the research online ( both vital when this knowledge will be applied in real life projects). Everything finally comes together in the Plus workshop - how is it that pages are created and how is it that they are hosted and updated. Coming from the UX world this opens my understanding about development so much. Don't hesitate to watch the videos that you find challenging at 0.75 speed, for me I had to do so for JS elements and i am glad that this feature is enabled for the videos! I am excited about Plus Add-on that is coming up next!
The Responsive Add-on was fun to learn. In just two weeks, I picked up ways of making websites responsive, which gave me more confidence with coding. Mattโs teaching style is super chill and easy to follow, making complex stuff like CSS and responsive design feel simple and fun. I enjoyed building the website for this project and advance my skills with grids, tables and hero images, all while making sure my website looked great on any device without using Bootstrap. This whole experience really helped me get a solid grip on HTML and CSS.

I have been taking this coding class for a while now, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I feel more confident in my coding skills with each passing week. The React workshop was a great experience! The framework is truly powerful, offering endless possibilities for building dynamic user interfaces. While the content was amazing, it was also quite challenging at times, especially when dealing with state management and hooks. I know I still need to practice to fully master everything, but overall, it was an incredibly rewarding session.

I was really looking forward to this workshop and it certainly didn't disappoint. I had again so much fun going through the lessons and coding my final project. It was challenging but definitely worth the ride!

Learning React JS was really challenging but I managed to push through regardless. I learned quite a lot and I would like to thank Matt for his detailed video lessons and explanations. Getting to learn the difference between writing vanilla JS code and React JS was really amazing more that React JS is more strict. At the end of it all I am happy to have learned some skills with React JS like using hooks and state management, conditional rendering, components, installing NodeJS and other external components, how to call API's and build them. I am very excited to continue practicing and perfecting my skills and learning more as I continue my web development journey.
I highly reccomend SheCodes, the lessons are very thorough and made easy for understanding for a beginner.

I had so much fun doing this course. It was the right level of complexity for a beginner. I was confident enough to go explore functions beyond the course material and was able to achieve the outcomes on my own and with confidence.

One of the best tutorial videos I've watched. From start to finish everything was broken down so clearly, making it easy to follow. Would highly recommend this course and others. Enjoyed completing it! :)
Coding gives such an awesome feeling, when you can see immediate result of your work! It takes time and patience to learn, it's a completely different universe with their own rules but as soon as you understand the logic - coding starts collaborate with you helping to create something very cool.
Joining She Codes courses was the best decision I've ever made. Matt has this natural flair for conveying lessons in an easy way! With zero experience I was able to understand everything without struggling too much :).

I found the past 8 weeks to be both challenging and rewarding. The course pushed me to step outside my comfort zone, and in doing so, I learned a lot. While I did learn a tonne in this course, the teaching style didn't totally resonate for me. I found a lot of the videos too brief and the explanations and visuals slightly erratic and redundant so I always had to use alternative sources to get explanations for the why behind things in order to understand what I was doing. I understand the thought process behind having us search for answers for some things beyond what was taught but I found there was quite a bit of 'do this as I do', but without the sufficient reasoning behind it, which personally my brain has a hard time with! But I did benefit a lot from all of the information provided and from the course structure with all the challenges and homework. The deadlines especially kept me on track! If I was just trying to learn coding on my own from online resources I would not have accomplished this much this fast!
This was a really fun way to learn the basics. Really enjoyed the teaching style. It takes you on a baby-step journey so you aren't overwhelmed with too much information. Looking forward to learning more.

The SheCodes Basics workshop was an incredible experience that exceeded my expectations. Iโve always been curious about coding, but I never thought Iโd have the confidence to try it.
