HTML and CSS began and ended on a positive note for me. Java Script was difficult at first, but with Matt's guidance and assistance, I soon got the hang of it and ended up successfully completing my project.

It's a fun project that required lots of thinking and problem-solving skills. It pushed me to apply all the knowledge I learned throughout the period. I feel more confident in my abilities after completing it!
I was surprised by how much of this made sense as I went through it! I really enjoyed the challenge of this workshop, and how there was so much space for creativity and problem solving for yourself, as well as a deep dive into good work flows and more advanced responsive techniques. Wow, the React course is a total game changer! Now I understand why many employers require this. Albeit it was quite challenging to go from the "individual components" initially learned to being able to integrate this and build a React App, it was totally worth this. I can see myself spending many more hours substantiating my knowledge. I am glad there is a React Ad-on class following this, as it's simply such a vast universe! Matt guides us super well though and makes even the frustrating moments more fun and gives us a feeling of "we are not alone". Would recommend to anyone wishing to learn React to follow his guidance!

I love the structure of the workshops, with the learning broken down into bite-sized chunks and plenty of opportunity to practise what we have learned. Before I found SheCodes, I was just about to give up on learning to code after months of trying ... now, not only am I "getting it" (mostly π€£), but I am really enjoying it too!
