This workshop was really difficult and required a lot of work. It's amazing how much code we've learned in such a short time. I almost went crazy, but the result is really cool!
SheCodes Basic was a great introductory into the world of coding. The lesson were easy to follow and understand, and the hands on element of the course kept the content engaging. I had a lot of fun building my page and look forward to learning more.
Covers a lot of ground, but by the end of it I got a really good understanding of how to build a responsive website!
I am really really happy that I had the opportunity to experience this workshop and I would definitely recommend this to anyone I know who likes to learn coding but is afraid of starting to know about it.

I loved taking Matt's course and he explains things a lot better than other resources and I've tried several while self-learning. I think it's great how I can always refer back to SheCodes for learning resources. He simplifies a complex process and makes coding exciting! It is also great that the SheCodes team can help everyone figure out their errors and correct themselves versus struggling to fix the code which could take much longer, save yourself the time and stress and take the course!

When I first joined SheCodes I was expecting a lot of difficult learning, for some reason and when it started it was easy and fun. It took me a while to finish just three weeks because I am studying in college. I could have finished sooner if I wasn't such a big procrastinator as well. 😂 I ended up just enjoying coding so much I decided to see if there are any degrees at school I can do coding in. Since I did this just for fun I never thought id end up finding out that I have a passion for something more than sleeping, gaming, and anime. 😂
It's very satisfying to make a website look good on desktop AND on mobile devices! It's a lot of work, but the feeling of accomplishment as I put together the portfolio was rewarding. I enjoyed learning all the concepts, and I highly recommend the course to those looking for in-depth web development skills!
After finishing SheCodes Basics, I got a message from Matt asking what my next steps were in my coding journey. I had already enrolled in a longer Full-Stack bootcamp so I told him that I had only planned on taking the SheCodes Basics workshop as an intro into coding. Well, a few weeks into the longer bootcamp and I missed Matt's teaching style and the layout of SheCodes so much that I signed up for SheCodes Plus and attempted both courses at the same time! 😍 Not only was SheCodes Plus an amazing experience that grew my knowledge and confidence in coding, but it helped me understand concepts I was also learning in my longer bootcamp. I can't say enough good things about SheCodes. Will I sign up for SheCodes Responsive next, even though I am still in my bootcamp? The answer is probably, most likely! 😄 Thank you SheCodes! 🙌

This was a great workshop for those wanting to discover web development and develop basic coding skills. I used to feel apprehensive about learning JavaScript, but after this workshop, I feel very excited to keep learning it and discovering all it can do!

Learned a lot! Was never too overwhelmed and was able to do the challenges as a beginner. I do wish my homework and projects had a detail report on things I could improve on. But the team is great and pretty quick on answering in slack and emails.

Started from SheCodes Basics to React, by far this was the most challenging course. No doubt the learning curve for React was steep, at times the new concepts and functions were hard to grasp. However, Matt's videos always made easier to comprehend. I can't believe that I was able to build 2 React apps within 8 weeks! Looking forward to what's coming next
Did it again! I love and look forward to every lesson on SheCodes. With the amazing SheCode team and Matt's calm voice helped me go through this Plus workshop. It has been challenging but also, fulfilling. I'm super excited. I now, have stop doubting myself and it feels like I can do anything! Now moving on to React.....
What an amazing 8-week course. From being a beginner learner to being able to make a weather app work! Keeps you interested and wanting to learn more! There is a great team of mentors to provide guidance if you get stuck. I think so far this was my favorite workshop! I loved learning about the responsiveness and getting insight on how homepage layouts change on mobile devices as well as SEO - something we use every day. I really haven't put too much thought into how all of this actually works so far but it was really, really interesting to learn and actually not as difficult as I thought it would be. Matt is a great teacher and I can't believe how much I have learned in just a couple months. There is one last workshop to complete for me and I am really excited to unlock even more skills and knowledge!

I've tried to learn code many times in the past but have always got stuck. Matt's classes are straightforward and easy to understand, and I've genuinely learned more in the last 3 weeks than I could ever do on my own. So excited to learn more, and to see where these new skills can take me.

This was absolutely the most fun course so far. I had so many lightbulb "ah ha!" moments and really felt the need to push myself to make my final product the best that it could be. Amazing!! it's such a great feeling to know I have learned a new skill and with it can create projects like the Weather App. There are many pros to SheCodes, but the one thing I absolutely love about it is the fact that Matt teaches with real-life examples.

Before I start working on this workshop, I was not sure if I could finish the course because I am a procrastinator when it comes to self-paced. I always wanted to learn coding and after completing the SheCodes Basic workshop I can say that I really enjoy it! I loved the mix of videos, exercises and bigger projects at the end to combine and refresh everything that has been learned! After completing the SheCodes Basics and SheCodes Plus workshop I started with SheCodes Responsive and I didn't expect to have so much fun learning to create a responsive website. If you want to become a web developer or if you are interested in building a website from scratch, this course is a must-do as online traffic on other devices than a desktop is increasing. I would definately recommend!
I have learnt so much with SheCodes! The course was easy to follow and very comprehensive. As an absolute beginner, I was a little bit nervous at first, but now I am much more confident about my skills and ability to code.:)

SheCodes is great, the weekly learning goals and daily challenges keep you up to pace with the learnings. After the Basics workshop I still find it challenging but coding became a lot more accessible to me.
As I already had a portfolio website, I decided to continue a project from University - Cooking Goes Green! It's a project showcasing the best of sustainable food - the fact you can make delicious food without the food waste and the sheer breadth of food you can make. Take a look at the site full of the different recipes you can make!

SheCodes is great! I love how engaging and easily digestible each lesson is. The instructor, Matt, offers a lot of helpful tips and resources along the way to help you even after you finish the program. As a full-time working mom of two young children, I especially appreciate how flexible the program is. I have done a lot of research on coding workshops, and this was one of the few that had flexible schedules, relevant course material, all for an affordable price. Highly recommend!

I wasn't as confident with coding to start off and found it extremely stressful, however completing this course with SheCodes has given me a whole different aspect on coding and now I really enjoy it, this is all thanks to SheCodes. I love SheCodes! Matt makes everything very easy to understand and even when I get stuck, other members are on Slack who might be having the same issue and you will find what you need. Matt even encourages you to google when you can't find an answer on Slack. I've only gotten stuck twice and found the solution easily by ways of Slack or a simple google search. The homework and projects are a great way to put everything I've learned into action and it's fun for me at the same time. Thank you, SheCodes!
I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone remotely interested in learning how to code! It is ideal for women who work full time as the classes are completely flexible and you can work at your own pace. When I did the challenges, I barely needed to check for similar problems, I think that Matt explains every lesson perfectly and in a way that everyone can understand, and I think it's exactly what a beginner needs.
Eventhough coding can be frustrating at times, is great when you can make it work. I've already learnt alot, and hope to learn even more. 💪

A very nice way to start coding again after 10+ years! Even if you have a job that takes a lot of your time, the lessons are on spot and you can follow them easily.
It may seem challenging at first but Matt explains it in a very simple way. It is really fun!
I think it was my best decision to join SheCodes! 🤩 This real-life weather app project showed the whole process of development totally from scratch. Starting with just as little as the framework, you continually growing up and gain knowledge on how to build the app step by step, function by function.
