I went into SheCodes with no experience whatsoever in coding but a ton of enthusiasm and a strong will to learn. I've enjoyed pushing myself to get through things that were confusing or frustrating and have felt a great accomplishment knowing I was able to succeed. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to the more advanced boot camps!
This journey has been lifechanging. After finishing the SheCodes Basic I was so excited to learn about the world of coding with SheCodes Plus. Little did I know back then, how much I will learn both about coding and about my very self as well. SheCodes Plus dove me to learn more and more, to not be satisfied with the average but to go beyond my limits. I am so very grateful for this opportunity. Even though I was struggling a lot (especially with the unit the conversion lol :D), it brought me an unexpected feeling of satisfaction in the end. Creating something that actually works in the end feels wonderful. Not to even mention the amazing SheCodes team led by Matt in every video that is a pleasure to watch and consisting of so many kind people that always offer a help on Slack. Thank you SheCodes Plus! I am anxious to see what the SheCodes React will bring.

I had an absolutely great experience on building my own app from one to ten!! I admit that it was not an easy one and was challenging for me sometimes. However, there's always a support from SheCodes team, so I had nothing to worry about. Through this experience, I gained a little bit more confidence in coding and realized that more comfortable to deal with it now. I am very much looking forward to take the next step and learn more about cording.

I highly recommend SheCodes as a platform for you to learn how to code. At first I really don't have any experiences in coding and I used to think that coding is so difficult that I can't never understand. But when I try SheCodes, I experienced it all myself that coding is not that hard, it is just confusing sometimes, but Matt and SheCodes made it super fun and super easy. I'm happy I joined SheCodes, you should too!

A great introduction to the world of coding, this workshop has given me a great base to continue to learn and realise that coding it is not actually that scary to learn! The workshop was laid out very well and in such a way that made learning easy and fun.

As a pretty much beginner, with the bare bones of HTML (Thanks Myspace!), this was great course and I'm so looking forward to continuing the curriculum. The material was concise and easy to digest. As a first time mother of a 3-month old that only sleeps in 40 minute increments 😅 this was a course that I was more than able to commit to and actually retain the information while also having some creative time playing with code. I'm excited to move on to the next! 💪👩🏼💻

This has been my third SheCodes Workshop and the most fun so far! It was really fascinating to see a whole website come to life from my own lines of code. The freedom to create a website and being able to decide on the topic myself made it very easy to be creative. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with SheCodes and am really looking forward to starting the React Course soon!

I knew some basic HTML years back so wanted to check if I still like it. The answer is definitely yes! I am busy with other courses and new job at the moment, but will be back for more advanced courses definitely. Great course, easy to follow, but challenging enough too!

I really enjoyed the whole workshop. My goal was to learn more about coding and improve my knowledge about it; and at the end of the workshop I can say that I am more comfortable using the terminology and skills regarding coding.
I joined the course hoping to expand my knowledge in the field and ended up being so invested in the work, and especially the final project, and looking forward to working at any chance I got. It's easy to follow and simple to manage. Very excited to see what more I can do.

This is my third course and I can say that I truly enjoyed it all the way through. It was *definitely* more challenging but persistency is key and my understanding of it became apparent and utterly fulfilling. Once again, I would recommend it to anyone that wants to advance in coding as a career/profession and/or just a new skill to learn. Matt is a great instructor and his team are consistently there to help especially when something confusing arises and/or when you are stuck on a code. This is worth every penny. I cannot wait to start my next and final one after my break.

I was hesitant to join at first, as I'm new to coding, and I've got a toddler and a new born. I wasn't sure if I would be able to manage the workload or the complexity of coding; however, the course is broken down in small sections, and is easy to follow along. Matt is also a great instructor; he knows what he is doing and is able to simplify it all. Not to mention the amazing SheCodes team, who are always there to lend a helping hand. I'm really enjoying the course thus far, and I'm excited for the new opportunities that will open up to me.
I'd been thinking about taking a coding class for a while, but it was a little overwhelming not `knowing where to start. After seeing an ad for SheCodes and attending a free class, I decided to give it a shot. Matt was an awesome teacher and I enjoyed how each concept was broken down and the practice questions that came after. I also really appreciated the flexibility around completing the coursework since I work full-time. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I'm glad I gave it a shot. If you're on the fence, I'd say go for it! Thank you to everyone on the SheCodes team!

SheCodes never ceases to amaze me! This has been a bumpy but very much fulfilling ride. Matt is an awesome instructor, the folks at the slack channel are amazing and very helpful. This is not only an outstanding Software Development course, but it is also a strong and developing community (in which I am very happy to be part of). The lessons were easy to follow along with and fun to see the other side of the websites we all use! I joined with absolutely no knowledge of coding and really enjoyed the workshop course.
SheCodes has been a great introduction to coding for me and I have found it a fun and flexible way to learn a new skill around my full time job. The insight I gained on the workshop showed me coding is a skill I would like to take further and it gave me the confidence to apply for a role on the development team at my workplace. I am now part of team creating a reading game application for pupils in school to help advance their reading level.

Making a career change is not easy. Leaving knowledge behind to start over is very risky and sounds scary. In my case, my transition has been successful. Finding a course that offered me the clearest way to understand what I am preparing was very important. SheCodes has been my best choice. I feel confident about what I know and even more confident that the decision to switch to the world of codes was my best choice.

SheCodes is a great introduction to coding and the workshops allow for lots of chances to practise what you have learnt and ultimately create your own website.
The workshop taught me a lot and I really enjoyed being challenged with the tasks I had to do, it felt a bit like a puzzle. And I love puzzles! ;)

First of all the basic course was really entertaining as well as being useful. I did not feel any confusing part or hardship. Secondly, challenges were really interesting and when I could overcome I fell satisfied. Everything was perfect specially method of teaching and also support.
Honestly, I really liked the teaching method of this course. I felt zero hardships in learning the basics of how to code, and the challenges were reasonable. The best part was encouraging the learner to be creative about the final project.
I took a chance with this workshop, and I am so glad that I did. It was an incredible introduction into the world of coding! I can't wait to get started with the next one ☺️

As a college student during the pandemic I have become well-versed in online classes. I have enjoyed these workshops so much. I can't believe it's finished!! I highly recommend them. Two months ago I had no idea what a function was, and I today I feel much closer to being able to ask for a job in the industry. A big shout out to Matt, he makes lessons fun, relaxed and also teaches to have patience while learning. It's not easy to teach technical stuff, but having the right teacher makes all the difference. I'm going to miss my days working on these projects. I love the SheCodes platform and I hope much more women can get on it and learn to Code!

React seemed completely impossible to grasp at first, however through the lessons and challenges I began to appreciate it, and really enjoyed it when I got things right. Now I've finished this workshop I'm keen to learn more about React and to keep challenging myself. Thanks SheCodes for really excellent videos and helpful and quick assistance when I've been stuck.

This workshop is very informative and interesting. You keep wanting to learn more and more, the skills taught are so valuable and worth your time.
This workshop is incredibly flexible and each module is very clear and understandable. The building blocks add up quickly and you will go from knowing nothing at all about coding (like me) to creating a formatted, interactive document from scratch. I'm really proud of myself for being able to do this in only a few weeks.
I highly recommend this course! I enjoyed coding step by step with Matt. He is great in explaining every aspects of the creation of the weather app from scratch. I am glad I did it and I cannot wait to keep going with the next SheCodes workshop.

This course taught me the basics of coding well and opened up a new world to me. I did SheCodes Plus immediately afterwards and enjoyed both courses a lot. In general the videos provided a good explanation of what was expected and the (sometimes much needed;) support on Slack was great as well.
This course was so fantastically taught and structured in a really logical way. It gives you all the building blocks to be able to go forward and make some really great projects. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to for their pathway into coding.
Words are not enough to express my joy and satisfaction. This is one of the many projects I've managed to complete this year. Many times I wanted to give up but I'd remember Matt's catchphrase "we can get a little crazy"🤪 (especially when exploring styling options) and I'd feel guilty not coding in a day.
