The React Add-on workshop was a great journey to deepening my knowledge of React and becoming used to its techniques and cores. Working on the Dictionary project was interesting and fun, even when sometimes it was frustrating to deal with some of the errors that occurred along the way. But once you fix them and everything works smoothly it gives you so much faith in yourself. A big gratitude to Matt Delac for being such a great instructor and for the SheCodes team's support during that journey.

As a second-year student of Computer Science and Electronics, I was looking for a community that would not only inspire me but also give me useful tools to develop my skills, and SheCode has done just that. Through their workshops and resources, I have improved my coding skills and learned about new technologies.The supportive community and mentorship have boosted my confidence to grow as a woman in tech. SheCode isn't just about coding; it's about empowering women to thrive in technology, and I'm honored to be a part of this movement!

The AI course has been my favourite of them all so far, I had a lot of fun building my AI recipe generator.

I've come to SheCodes to brush up on lessons I learned a few years back. This workshop is definitely for absolute beginners. I like that it teaches women to code, and I think it's a great resource for women to break into tech.

This Workshop was challenging and more complex, getting more insights on how to work and connect to real-life data. I enjoyed it very much, highly recommended!

I learned so much more in the Basics Add On course. I am looking forward to completing more of the SheCodes courses.

React can be challenging to learn, but it’s an excellent framework that teaches you a lot of valuable concepts and skills. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in front-end development, but keep in mind that it requires a lot of patience and persistence to fully grasp its features and best practices.

The classes are a great starting point to build confidence in using Python. I particularly enjoyed how the lessons were designed to gradually build understanding, starting with simple concepts like variables and conditionals, and then progressing to functions and loops. Looking forward to more advanced learning

I found the workshop a great way to learn the basics of JS/HTML/CSS in a super organized and FUN way! I am planning to attend the Plus as well 😀

I've enjoyed learning the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript having previously done beginner courses elsewhere in data analytics. This feels a little more creative which I like. I enjoyed trying things out on the design side for the project and basing it on a chosen topic. I haven't yet decided whether to make it a career change but it's certainly given me food for thought.

Python Advanced Workshop was really intense and very engaging. I learnt about Object Oriented Programming to help design codes in a much more organized and scalable way. I also learnt more on how to manipulate files - read, write and extract data to make it presentable and easy for people to understand. I am also able to display data extracted using Python plots for better visualization. The most challenging yet rewarding for me in this workshop was learning advanced techniques on csv file manipulation and complex data structures in Python. I learnt how to play around with dictionaries, filtering and aggregating data. At the end of the workshop, I was able to build a project using real life csv file to create data visualization using Python. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for this very engaging and knowledge-packed workshop.

Was a lot of fun to complete this course.

Workshop was easy to follow along. Some subjects seemed a bit advanced for total beginners and required googling but otherwise great workshop!

I cannot say enough good things about shecodes! It had been a very long time since I had done any amount of coding. I enrolled in both Python Basics and Python Advanced courses. They were everything I was hoping it would be! Thank you very much to Matt Delac for his wonderful way of show casing information that is approachable and not intimidating to learn. One of the things I valued most was his authentic spirit as he troubleshot while teaching. His vibe is always calm with 'it is ok not to know everything' attitude. If there were more Python courses through shecodes I would take them! As I move forward in coding I will use shecodes as a valuable resource as well as recommend them.

It was very fun to do!

Over the last two weeks, I’ve been working on an exciting project, building a World Clock application using moment.tz, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, hosted on Netlify and managed through GitHub. This project has been an incredible learning experience for me. After 2.5 months of working on and finishing two projects — a Weather App that provides real-time data and now the World Clock, I can confidently say that my understanding of coding and app development has improved significantly. With the World Clock project, I was able to integrate different time zones, show the current time in multiple cities, and even find my own location in real time. Thanks to SheCodes Plus, I now feel more confident in my coding abilities. The structured lessons and hands-on projects have given me a deeper understanding of how to build apps, troubleshoot issues, and what to look for when things aren't working as expected. I’m constantly learning and improving my skills, and I’m excited to keep building more projects as I grow as a developer. If you're looking to take your coding skills to the next level, SheCodes Plus is an amazing resource that will guide you every step of the way.

I am incredibly grateful for the amazing experience I’ve had with SheCodes over the past few weeks. This journey has been nothing short of transformative for me as I delved into the world of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding. These extra two weeks helped me level up my JavaScript skills. I explored timing events, dates, and time zones while building a World Clock Project. A practical and valuable experience!

The projects are challenging, but a lot of fun. Learning through SheCodes makes it easier to code complex projects breaking them down into sections (html, CSS, JS) simplifying the process allowing me to follow along with ease.

I love learning to coding through the workshops, and it was little bit challenging.

I just completed SheCodes AI, and I have to say—it was my absolute favorite so far! 🎉 This module opened up a whole new world of creativity and possibilities. Learning about AI and how to use prompts effectively felt empowering 🤖✨, and the integration with JavaScript and plugins made it super practical for real-world projects. What I loved most was how much room there was to get creative with the final project. I enjoyed taking what I learned and adding my own twist to it, giving my project "Hello Happiness - a compliment generator" a unique personal flair 🎨🚀. It’s so rewarding to see how far I’ve come and to apply my skills! 🌟 I can’t wait to see what’s next.

I really love this 3-week journey! Perfect for people who work with developers or anyone who wants to understand that coding is not just for exceptional individuals.

After completing SheCodes Basics course, I dived right into the Basics add-on course that widened my knowledge further and made me even more interested in learning more about coding.

This workshop was well paced and presented challenges requiring detailed review and troubleshooting. SheCodes is my first exposure to coding and I am finding it incredibly valuable already. I can't wait to learn more throughout the other workshops!

It has been a long week, i struggled there and there however, at the end i managed to finish my project. Anyone who wants to embark on Basic Add-On make sure you are prepared. Above all i enjoyed each and every lesson and i delivered the best of me. I am keen to progress through the course and apply the concepts taught to real-world scenarios.⛹️‍♀️❤️

I really enjoyed learning how to use grids and to transform images in this course.

It was GREAT! I learned a lot even if I couldn't make much time for it as it let me request extensions whenever I needed them (such as in my exams week). Matt explains everything clearly and I got an email after sending in my homework before 48h passed. It was a wonderful experience, safe to say, I enjoyed it a lot.

The best way to learn coding -----> SheCodes

Hi! I just finished my first Basic workshop, and I can say that I discovered a new passion! This is just the beginning of a journey that I would like to continue with SheCodes. A huge thanks to everyone at SheCodes for this opportunity.

I found a lot of useful information in this course that I will be able to apply to my portfolio and resume.

It was a great course. Matt made everything super easy and quick to learn.

Completing the Plus workshop was a transformative experience. I was able to build more advanced skills with the use of JavaScript. Additionally, I was able to gain knowledge on Git, GitHub, hosting and API's. After completing this course, I feel confident to tackle real-world web development projects.

I am not going to lie, this one was really challenging, but again, the project was built along with the classes, which was easy for us to then create our own version of the app. I enjoyed this module very much.

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop, becoming familiar with how to call and use APIs from JavaScript and building and styling my weather app.

This week's lessons and projects were so interesting! I had the opportunity to learn more new things and also get help on Slack when I felt stuck.

Learning how to integrate the SheCodes AI API and prompt it was an amazing experience! I am incredibly proud of the skills I’ve gained and excited to apply them to future personal projects. A big thank you to the SheCodes team for making this journey both educational and enjoyable!

I had no previous knowledge of Python so it was a bit daunting but Matt explains everything really well. Whenever I had any doubt and couldn´ ´t find a solution I used AI Athena or the slack channel which are both very helpful. I´m looking forward to the advanced Python lessons
