My name is Christina Palec, and I am a student. I recently used SheCodes for my personal development and I couldn't be happier with the result! Before taking the course, I hadn't any knowledge about coding. However, SheCodes made the learning process enjoyable and accessible. The videos and clear explanations helped me build a solid foundation in coding. I now feel more confident in my skills and am excited to continue my journey in tech. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to explore coding!
SheCodes Plus has been an amazing journey even though JavaScript almost knocked me out π₯². The challenges were tough, but every moment helped me grow. Iβve gained so much from this experience, and Iβm proud of how far I've come in developing my web skills and pushing through the tough moments.
The React 6-week course was the perfect introduction to React. Everything is well explained and it was great to put together a weather application using React to see how it works in practice. I also enjoyed following along with the tutorial, but using the SheCodes API to build the application. Whilst Matt used the OpenWeather API at the time of the recording, I found it useful having a different API to use, to learn from his method, but adapt it based on a different API resource. I would highly recommend this course!

My experience with SheCodes Plus has been truly transformative. The course provided me with hands-on skills and practical knowledge in web development. Building a weather app from scratch was an incredible journey, as I learned to implement advanced JavaScript, API integration, and responsive design. The structured lessons and supportive community made the learning process enjoyable and rewarding. A special thanks to Matt Delac for creating such an empowering program that makes learning tech skills accessible and engaging. I'm excited to apply what I've learned to future projects.
The videos are short, easy to follow and pack a bunch if information. The structure of the course is very coherent and by spending quite a little time a day you will suddenly have a very good base to start coding more and more.

The Basics Workshop was an amazing introduction to web development! It gave me a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, making coding approachable and fun. SheCodes Basics was the perfect introduction to coding for me. The teaching style was clear and engaging, and the hands-on projects helped me actually understand what I was learning. Thoroughly enjoyed this last coding adventure. Learning to use reactive coding to enable equally presentable websites on both widescreens and mobile devices. Have enjoyed learning to use add-ons, such as bootstrap, to enable a clean, reactive project. One small step closer to my dream of being a software developer :)

She Codes Add One workshop was a game-changer for me! Iβve always had an interest in coding, but I never knew where to start. This workshop provided me with the perfect balance of practical skills and support. The hands-on experience gave me the confidence to dive deeper into the world of coding. What really stood out was the inclusive and empowering environment.The workshop not only enhanced my technical skills but also helped me build a network of amazing women who are passionate about technology and eager to support each other. I left the workshop feeling more confident in my abilities, with a solid understanding of the coding tools we worked with. It was a fantastic experience, and Iβm so grateful to She Codes for giving me the opportunity to grow in my tech journey. Iβm now more determined than ever to continue learning and breaking barriers in the tech world.

It was fantastic. The explanation was clear and thorough! When Matt made mistakes and corrected them, I realized that, regardless of my errors, the most important thing was to understand the concepts, learn from them, and correct mistakes.
I thoroughly enjoyed this class and challenged myself by incorporating as many elements as possible into my final project. It was incredibly rewarding to learn how to make everything work seamlessly together.

This course is easy to follow and my favorite part will always be the challenges and homework assignments. Even though it is titled a basic course, I've learned more than I've expected over the course of these few weeks.

Adding and polishing the skills learnt from the Basics workshop was very interesting. I loved seeing everything come together, and I feel more confident in my coding abilities.
I find it very useful to broaden my skills. Since I like to be independent, this gives me alternative career options.

I have really enjoyed the setup and structure of this course. I also really liked that i could do extensions easily. As a busy mum of 4, meeting every deadline was tricky.

This first step was fundamental for me to realize that it is totally possible to learn how to code. Because of previous experiences, I was a little bit afraid to try again, but Matt makes it all seem so simple and easy that this first step was actually fun. I'm really happy with my results so far, and anxious to see what I can achieve from now on.
The coding journey has been fun, productive and yet challenging as well. I like the notion of having to deal with trial and error, puzzle solving in order to keep my mind active and healthy, fortunately that's where coding comes into play.
Another great project, definitely not easy though!

I absolutely loved the SheCodes Python Advanced program! The course was super easy to follow, especially after completing the earlier SheCodes courses, as it seamlessly blended with the overall curriculum. The AI course was truly unique and inspiring. As someone who loves cooking and often feels homesick while living abroad, Iβve always wanted to incorporate AI into a recipe-making project. Creating an Indonesian Recipe Generator felt like the perfect choiceβit allows me to share my culture and passion for cooking with friends and family. Thanks to this project, itβs now so easy to help others try making authentic Indonesian dishes themselves.
It was so fun to create a world clock with live data from the different timezones, advancing my Javascript skills further. The more and more I use JS the better I get at doing it on my own before Matt finishes with his explanations. I'm so happy I joined this foundation when I did.

I always wanted to create my own coding but i was afraid that the coding might be really difficult and complicated. After 3 weeks in SheCodes, I find out that I can do my own coding. I am really happy and satisfied and my interest in coding are becoming bigger and bigger.
Shecodes Responsive is a very good lesson in which i will recommend to any person that is willing to pursue a carrier in tech industry because the lesson is very friendly to anyone to understand thanks to shecodes for this beautiful workshop
Along our educational and professional path, we start narrowing our learnings to our main interest and objective and sometimes we forget we can set ourselves to learn anything. Making this course reminded me of our capacities, of how if we have the time and the means(!), which we do not always have, unfortunately, we can learn a new set of skills, for professional growth, personal growth, or even just for fun. This was fun, this gave me new skills that I hope to put to practice in my life.

This was the hardest one yet but I really enjoyed all the homework more especially the project. It was one of those "Omg did I really do that", Matt as usual explains everything so clearly you just have to focus and go back to a lesson video if you're confused but more often than not your answer lies in rewatching the lessons.
Studying responsive coding has been an incredibly rewarding journey for me! The lessons were clear, hands on, and engaging, allowing me to learn how to build websites that adapt seamlessly to all types of screens. Mastering CSS media queries, flexbox, and grid systems, which are crucial for creating fluid, responsive layouts was the best part of this experience, including the opportunity to put theory into practice with a real world project. Very informative add on to the weather app project we worked on during SheCodes plus. I learned a lot of new concepts. Working on something that can be challenging and being able to recreate it gave me a boost of confidence as a student developer. I think it's a great project to learn from and work on.

Shecodes is deffently a game changer! One of my biggest goals is to have a job where I can work from home, which I enjoy. I knew college was not in the books for me, but I still wanted to learn useful technology skills that I could learn more on my own time, and Shecodes gave me that opportunity.
