I was nervous to start out as I always saw coding as such a daunting & complex skill, with many terms I'd never heard of! Matt & the SheCodes team made the whole learning experience so fun and interactive, with a huge sense of community & support. I've enjoyed this workshop so much and I will definitely be continuing on with the more advanced workshops in the future! Thank you all so much!

SheCodes has taught me so much coding in 3 weeks than I've learned in a lifetime! I am super grateful for these skills I've learned and am so stoked for the career path that lies ahead for me with coding! I'm so proud of all the assignments and projects I was able to come up with and create. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for all the help and learning, and for helping me realize the career path I am most passionate about!

I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone considering a career in tech or just interested in coding. I started with zero prior experience and I have already learned so much. For years, I had thought about learning to code. It always seemed so interesting, complicated and mysterious! I cannot recommend SheCodes enough. I had no prior experience and I have learned so much. Matthieu and the SheCodes team are wonderful. If you have ever considered coding but have been hesitant, SheCodes is the right place for you!

SheCodes Plus was full of challenges for me. On this road I've been learning a lot of fascinating things about the world of coding. Building an weather app by myself is such a rewarding feeling and of course thanks to Matt and the team who are always there to support and give us a hand when need it!! SheCodes is worth the challenge. I would have never thought I'd be capable of learning how to code. These workshops teach you step by step in order to move on to the next lesson. It was a great experience learning from SheCodes team. All the resources were really good. Learnt a lot from the course.

These first few weeks have been incredible! It's been great to brush off my Computer Science GCSE skills! The workload is just right. Sadly in my case, other obligations meant I was late to some deadlines but the team we're more than considerate in giving a little extra time. If you're looking for a starter course in HTML, CSS and JavaScript then this course is for you!

It is with great joy that I finish another graduation with SheCodes. Matt and his team are impeccable from start to finish, which is why I highly recommend all of their workshops. This responsive course was so much fun! I really liked SheCodes Basic, i think it gave me the esential tools for developing a page which i find a really useful skill nowadays. The expererience was also great because i could do the curse wherever i had internet connection. The classes were short and concise and the team was always there when you needed help.

This course is very good if you want to learn more about coding. It is sometimes very challenging but with the help of Matt and his team you will get through it. I learned a lot and can recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn a new skill.

I had a great time learning the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I've been involved in website code because of my job in e-commerce but I feel i understand the context so much better now. I will be able to guide my development team better now.

Making webpages more responsive takes a surprising amount of patience, but it was helpful to see Matt model how to build responsively and get the help of the team on Slack. By the end of my project, I started to feel like I was getting the hang of problem-solving. It's nice to have so many projects integrated into the workshops so I can put new learning into practice.

This is has been a long but wonderful journey. I am so proud of the progress I have made during SheCodes Responsive and it wouldn't have happened would it not have have been for Matt and the amazing team at SheCodes. If you are on the fence as to whether this will be the right journey for you. DO IT!. You wont regret it.

I've been somewhat interested in coding / web developing for a few years now, but learning everything by myself resulted in quite a mess in my head. SheCodes finally helped me make it all make sense! In addition to the very basics I've known, Matt and his team taught me many new tricks and possibilities that I'm sure will greatly improve my future projects. Every part of the course is designed really well, and even if you struggle with getting something work there's a huge support net made of SheCodes team and other students eager to help you figure things out. This course got me totally hooked on coding and I hope I'll be able to continue to progress!

I would highly recommend taking part in the SheCodes workshops! As someone who had never coded and had no knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript before starting my first coding workshop with SheCodes, I found the workshops very informative and more importantly, enjoyable. I had a wonderful time learning how to code and putting what I had learned into action. I felt proud seeing my progress throughout the workshops and completing my final project on my own. If you are hesitating whether or not you should join the SheCodes workshops, I would tell you to go for it. The SheCodes team is very helpful and as a bonus, you get to be part of a wonderful, global community of female SheCoders! :)

Being interactive is best point about this course and also Matt teaching style is great! Thanks to SheCodes team!

This course has really helped me build my foundation for these coding languages. It showed me that I am truly passionate about this and cannot wait to dig deeper and learn more. This is the best way to get started with your coding knowledge with the projects and challenges as well as the help the team provides on Slack whenever you are stuck.

Great way of teaching some vanilla java script, thorough lessons and the slack support team are there to help if needed.

This course was structured very well. The videos were easy to understand and the support from the SheCodes team is amazing!

I have never expected that one day I could build something on the web. I always thought that I do not have the skills, I am not capable of, guess what? Of course, I don't know everything yet. A lot has to come, but I will face it. I trusted Matt Delac and their team to guide me through this. Finally, I believe Matt not only teaches code, but he also busts your confidence. For all women out there, yes you can do it!

The SheCodes Basics workshop has been such a wonderful experience! I've learned a lot and hope to continue learning. The lessons are practical, easy to follow and the challenges help to apply concepts and understand the fundamentals. Thank you, Matt and team!

It has certainly been an experience so far! Learning to code will definitely surprise you its not would i thought it would be pleasantly surprised actually. Matt and team have broken the courses down into perfectly sizeable chunks, attention to detail is key but i will say be prepared to put you're perfectionism aside in order to persevere.I would recommend to give shecodes BASICS to see if coding is for you.

SheCodes Plus is a really nice way to dive into code by teaching complex features in HTML, CSS, and especially Javascript. The videos give a smooth path to follow and the challenges really help to assess and anchor progress. The big plus compared to other ways to learn is the dedicated slack: the possibility of getting the help of the SheCodes team when feeling stuck keeps the motivation level high throughout the weeks. I am grateful I took this program which not only developed my skills but made me discover a new world I'm actually very interested in :)

I learnt so much and i am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked on something that actually did not come naturally to me at first. I have obsessed over this project, playing around for hours, and it was equal parts frustrating and fun! The whole team, and other SheCoders, have been so helpful and kind on Slack as well, so thank you everyone!!

I love SheCodes workshop!!! This was fun and easy way to learn coding. I learned a little bit when I took web design class in college but, it was difficult to understand. Taking this workshop, watching the videos, doing the challenges, and homework made it help. I recommend anyone to take this workshop. If someone had told me a few years ago that I will be doing 4 frontend development online courses in a year with a World pandemic, I just wouldn't believe it. But the truth is: here am I, just finishing the last one. From having no coding experience a couple of months ago to now having completed this React workshop, I have more knowledge and experience in coding than I could have ever imagined having in this short amount of time. SheCodes is just amazing, Matt classes are incredible and so are the SheCodes team that never let us stay with any doubts. I just felt in love with frontend development! Among all the other virtual self-study courses, SheCodes Basic course is one of the best courses I've participated within 5 years! Everything was coordinated super-smoothly, all the necessary information was provided before and during the study, I got help when I asked it, Matt's way of teaching suited me very well and I had just enough time to learn and submit my homework. As a French philologist, yet being an Estonian native speaker, I've always thought that coding is only for the people who understand higher math. Well, I've never would have guessed that coding is very similar to learning a foreign language. And moreover, it's fun! I will definitely continue my baby-steps and try to make as much effort into my development as I can. Thank you so much, SheCodes' team! 🙏

I wanted to learn coding but I always thought it was complicated to learn. That’s not true at all! Matt makes it so easy to understand, and the practical exercises give you time to try and learn at your own pace. There’s a great team and an amazing community that can help you whenever you feel stuck with the coding as well, and I think that keeps you motivated 💗. This was my “summer challenge”, to learn something new. Now I’m able to code my own projects using HTML, CSS, and JS !!

SheCodes is awesome. I think the most important thing in the coding journey is that if you get disappointed you can get help and start again. SheCodes team is really kind, generous and supportive so they help you not to get disappointed, but if you can't handle this they take your hand and support you.

The SheCodes workshop offers the best tools if you want to start from zero. I had no experience and the videos, challenges and weekly homework were super helpful and easy to follow. "Hello World" :) (ehehe) I finished my SheCodes Plus this week and I am very very proud of the results :) I started not knowing anything about coding and about this world, to build my own weather app. Say what? :o Yes, is amazing how Matt and his team guide us, to absorb so much knowledge in just a few weeks. it's a very good platform and a very easy method to learn. I have always been interested in coding, however, had always thought it would be to hard. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone looking to get into coding. I am forever thankful to the whole team for all the support. I was a great learning experience.

I had no experience with coding at all and I didn't have any interest in learning it as I have a friend who does coding and it just looked complicated. But I saw SheCodes ad by accident and the first things that caught my eyes were the colour of the website and the word "She". I decided to attend the free class and I remember Matt saying that he built this community because of the lack of female representatives in the tech industry. This is what actually pushed me to go ahead and try the basic workshop. I am very happy with that decision because I realised that it's fun and not too complicated and now I have basic experience in coding! Thank you to Matt for the clear explanations and for the SheCodes team who are always there to help and greet us which made the whole learning journey even more amazing!

I have to give it up to Matt and the excellent SheCodes Team for setting up this Responsive Workshop!!! 👏👏👏I found it to be the most challenging of all the courses, mostly because, I chose to build my Front End Developer portfolio for the final project. It wasn't easy working through my fears of perfection, but at a certain point I had to let go and accept that it is not definitive, it can evolve along with me. I have truely enjoyed this course even though it has been extremely challenging at some points during a few weeks. I was stuck and could not find a way out. Luckily I got support from the SheCodes team and found my way back. Since the course is challenging the satisfaction of building my own weather app and succesfully completing it is high! I would recommend this to anyone: challenge yourself and learn how to code.

Before starting this workshop, building a React application seemed very daunting to me. With great examples and explanations from Matt, even this advanced workshop was made fairly easy to understand and execute. It is challenging at times but I was determined. From having no coding experience a couple of months ago to now having completed this React workshop, I now have more knowledge and experience in coding than I could have ever imagined having in this short amount of time. I have the confidence now to keep building my portfolio to showcase and pursue a career in tech! I am forever grateful to the SheCodes team!

Another SheCodes workshop down, React next! I enjoyed building my portfolio and I find this super helpful for beginner developers who need to get their foot through the door but didn't have a portfolio to do so. I plan to use this portfolio on my job searches. Thank you Matt and SheCodes team!

Extremely challenging but so satisfying when you are able to figure out the solution to the problems (SheCodes team helped a lot). It was fun and managed to finish this course in 4 weeks cause of its fun-ness (excuse the word creation here)

I absolutely loved doing SheCodes Plus. It's definitely challenging, but I have been enjoying it and love the feeling of accomplishment when I fix something or figure it out on my own. I cannot wait to start SheCodes React and continue on my coding journey :) The support on Slack is unbelievable and super helpful, I would be lost without them. So thank you for the SheCodes team!

I’m happy to share that I have finished my Weather App project for SheCodes Plus. Or it would be more appropriate to say ‘decided to stop with it for the moment’ xD Since the way I’ve been seeing it - it’s pretty more than I was expected to submit as homework. I tried my best to make it already responsive, though this topic will follow in next course only. And it’s firm 80% of what I wanted it to be, inclusive of: - themes and layers are changing based on weather conditions - clouds animation depends on wind speed - fonts react to day / night - the cities options are populated from Google API - basic settings of theme and units are available, along with GPS position saved due to localStorage - there are some pretty Bootstrap elements - I’ve picked up some funny pixel-style visuals for loaders and found exactly the same old-school games font I was looking for - and again… it’s already pretty responsive to different viewports. That was a challenge, especially the responsive part. And another opportunity to double confirm that knowing your target it’s already half way. Googling a right question it’s already half an answer. I haven’t figured out yet why there are issues with GPS on iPhones and some Bootstrap elements on certain iphones only, so let’s head to SheCodes Responsive and check whether there are the answers I need. (My precious) That little Ghibli tribute was done from the bottom of my heart. Thanks a lot to Matthieu Delac Aussaguel and SheCodes Team for providing the coding skeleton knowledge (and setting courses with deadlines). And big thanks to my main testers. My husband, in whose eyes I saw proud instead of irritation for me staring into monitor for hours. And my beloved friend and former colleague from Moscow - country is definitely not the limit.

I took my first dip into the coding world with SheCodes Basic and I really enjoyed it! I liked how the topics are broken down in short videos that are clear and not overwhelming for someone with no prior knowledge of coding. Now I just want to keep exploring! SheCodes React was challenging but great fun from start to finish. Along with the previous workshops I completed I now have three working projects that I can showcase my new skills. This is down to the excellent teaching from Matt, and the support from the rest of the SheCodes team.

I would 100% recommend SheCodes to anyone wanting to learn to code. I have learnt so much over the 3 workshops I have completed and am so happy with what I have been able to create with all the knowledge I now have! Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes Team!!

I really enjoyed this part. I've had awesome days and some bad days - but, by the end of the day, I can only be grateful for how am I growing as a programmer. Can't wait to discover the React world! Thank you SheCodes team for always being there ❤
