I wanted to learn coding but I always thought it was complicated to learn. Thatโs not true at all! Matt makes it so easy to understand, and the practical exercises give you time to try and learn at your own pace. Thereโs a great team and an amazing community that can help you whenever you feel stuck with the coding as well, and I think that keeps you motivated ๐. This was my โsummer challengeโ, to learn something new. Now Iโm able to code my own projects using HTML, CSS, and JS !!

"Hello World" :) (ehehe) I finished my SheCodes Plus this week and I am very very proud of the results :) I started not knowing anything about coding and about this world, to build my own weather app. Say what? :o Yes, is amazing how Matt and his team guide us, to absorb so much knowledge in just a few weeks. I will continue my journey at SheCodes with the SheCodes Responsive now: I am sure it will be great and a lot of fun! I've tried several online coding programs before. All the programs were difficult to understand and did not last long. I easily got lost and couldn't ask for help. SheCodes curriculum is very transparent and well-organized! Itโs an online course, so I can stop anytime and repeat when I need. In my opinion, who teaches you is the most important thing. Matt is the amazing instructor I've ever seen. I've never felt myself looking forward to working on lessons and assignments every day.
This was an amazing experience! I feel so empowered now that I'm able to put all of the tools I learned in previous workshops into practice! The Responsive course was the missing piece I needed to bring my vision to life! Can't wait for React!
It's been such an amazing journey with all 4 workshops at SheCodes. I cannot believe all the amazing projects I've completed. React was very challenging and I got lost so many times but it's fulfilling when you finally get it, so I'd say it was bittersweet๐คฃ but worth all the pain.
I had no experience with coding at all and I didn't have any interest in learning it as I have a friend who does coding and it just looked complicated. But I saw SheCodes ad by accident and the first things that caught my eyes were the colour of the website and the word "She". I decided to attend the free class and I remember Matt saying that he built this community because of the lack of female representatives in the tech industry. This is what actually pushed me to go ahead and try the basic workshop. I am very happy with that decision because I realised that it's fun and not too complicated and now I have basic experience in coding! Thank you to Matt for the clear explanations and for the SheCodes team who are always there to help and greet us which made the whole learning journey even more amazing!
I wasn't sure if I will like it at first, but I'm glad I signed up with SheCodes. It's been an amazing and exciting learning experience. I am surprised how much I've learnt over the course of two weeks and how I was able to apply them in my final project. Definitely recommend it!
It has been a wonderful experience, a bit hard because I am currently working so sometimes it has been difficult meeting the deadlines, but the overall experience is amazing and I leave this course feeling much more confident in my capabilities. Thank you!

I can't say enough amazing things about SheCodes! As a graphic designer working for a tech company, I was looking to gain more insight into coding so I could communicate better with developers and have a deeper understanding of how designs come to life โ and SheCodes was just that. An Amazing journey!!! It took me back to my Uni days and stole my heart again. I studied Masters in Computer Science in the past. I couldn't pursue my dream yet. Just as the Basics Course, this course was awesome!! It wasn't easy and wrapping my head around JavaScript especially was challenging at times, but Matt is an amazing teacher and Bruno and the rest of the staff are just so incredible helpful!! Not once did I get a reply on a problem that I didn't understand or that didn't solve my issue. I am also still amazed by how much I learned in these couple weeks. Not in my wildest dreams did I think I could build a weather app!! I can't wait for the rest of the courses :)
Another great course! I decided to use my final project to make an author website for my mum - it was amazing to be able to confidently work on a real-life project, and I had a lot of fun making the content adapt to different screen sizes. Looking forward to returning to JavaScript in SheCodes React!

I can't recommend this course enough. 2 months ago I knew nothing about coding and have now been able to build a fully functioning search site. I really enjoyed how the course is broken down into short videos with a theme for the week as it helps you build your skills over time. I found the content challenging but there was also a great feeling of satisfaction when I finally understood something. Also, the community they have build is amazing. Everyone is so quick to respond to queries on Slack and it's great to be able to see what everyone else is building and how they got there.

Learning to code in website responsiveness with SheCodes has been an amazing experience. They cover the topic from many angles and show many useful techniques as well as tons of practical applications! I definitely recommend this course!
SheCodes was amazing! I never thought I'd be able to learn how to code. Matt made it so easy and simple to learn and follow. He breaks it down and builds on what you've learned from the previous lessons. Slack was also a huge help when I was stuck or confused. I cannot wait to start SheCodes Pro and continue to learn more!
To be honest this workshop didn't go well with my personal life. The old version of me would run away and cry but not me now! I loved every step of creating this app. I'm a creative person but I was forgetting about this trait of mine lately. But making this app, realizing how many ideas I have! I wanted to implement them all! It's so amazing knowing there are endless possibilities of how to style the page or create interesting functions. I can't wait to start the third one of my workshops! This is a journey of my life, I'm grateful for what the SheCodes team does for all of us ๐
What a great challenge this course is! It's definitely a lot to take in but the lessons and exercises are set out in a way that help you understand each new concept before moving on to the next. The team are amazing at responding promptly to queries on Slack - an invaluable resource. As Matt keeps saying in the videos "this is powerful stuff"! It is certainly amazing to discover how much can be done with just a few lines of code. Feels like magic! Thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to the next stage (might take a wee break first, though!).

This is definitely an upgrade from basics! Learnt so much, had so much fun, definitely doable even with a full-time job. The information taught was done amazingly by instructor Matt and the team provided good support at every milestone of this course. Really appreciated that the course also included a typical workflow of front-end development and some tips on how to communicate your work to bosses!
I've always wanted to start coding. I've tried several (actually countless) online courses and unfortunately nothing was able to keep my attention for so long. In those, there are no interactions, no community. The most you can interact with those classes are by pressing play and pause on a video player - which might work for a few people but not for me. SheCodes is different. There's a community, there's support. They indeed start from scratch and that makes programming quite possible. And honestly, for me, this hasn't been only a life changing course but also an amazing self-confidence exercise. If you are reading this, you definitely can do it, girl!

This was a very exciting course to be part of and learn from. It is very easy to understand and learn from what is provided, but the most amazing part is that you don't learn like a "parrot", you have to apply code and thinking of your own. You get help from a tech team and your fellow learners which is great! I had so much fun with my final project and intend to just keep making it better and creating other fun projects.

Had a fantastic time learning the basics again and if you are a newbie or someone who wanted to refresh those coding skills, this course is for you. Amazing course so far! I tried other coding bootcamps and they were either too expensive or too hard and tedious to learn. Matt explains in a way that you learn without glassy eyes closing 2 minutes in. I'm looking forward to completing the whole course and excited for the future - many more projects to complete!
