The SheCodes basic and Basic Add-On was an experience that is life changing. I learnt and understood the courses because Matt and the Shecodes team structured it in a way that is beginners friendly. I gained confidence in my ability to learn new technologies and adapt to new challenges. It has been my dream to tow this career path and SheCodes foundation gave me the opportunity to kick start it. Its was a challenging experience but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless.
Completing the introduction on SheCodes was a fulfilling experience, as it provided a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course not only taught the basics of these programming languages but also encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for coding. By the end of the introduction, I felt confident in my ability to create basic websites and applications.
I have a background in programming from bootcamps and am currently pursuing an advanced programming degree. I wanted to use this summer to review front-end development, as I usually focus on back-end work despite being a full-stack developer. This course is excellent for beginners or those who have never programmed before. For those of us with some programming experience, it might seem a bit basic or simple, but it is still very effective for reviewing and consolidating existing knowledge. The notes and explanations are easy to understand and apply, and the classes are easy to follow. Really great work!
The add-ons have been instrumental in enhancing my understanding of CSS properties. The step-by-step explanations and the project guidance provided were extremely beneficial.

This was a great course. It was easy to follow along with the videos and I really felt I was learning a lot throughout. I definitely need to keep working on my skills but this was a nice foundation to have. I would definitely recommend this course to others who are interested in becoming Software Engineers or are just interested in learning about the topic.
I love how the lessons are curated, they are easy to understand and transmit to practical application. And also doing practicals after every lesson makes it stick more. I'm enjoying the workshops!

Amazing lessons. After taking SheCodes Basics, all the chapters of HTML and CSS in beginner coding books I purchased began to make sense. SheCodes Basics made learning to code easier to comprehend.
The Shecodes Basics Add on workshop was definitely a bit challenging for me however the well structured curriculum has made it a walk in the park for me, I would definitely recommend to anyone would like to tap into the tech world but has no background knowledge about coding. I am glad that I applied and actually started the course because I have always wanted to learn how to code and tap into the tech world. I loved every single minute of it.Looking forward to learning more.

Had no idea what to expect from Python, turns out it was less daunting and a lot of fun. after doing a lot of the front end courses, its cool to see how different the languages are using the same data for similar project end results. very fun way to learn!
Bite-sized lessons and challenges, easy to follow-through and there is always support if you get stuck somewhere! Would definitely recommend!

Having no previous coding experience I decided to give SheCodes a go. A great incentive was the 1 hour free workshop with Matt that gave a brief introduction to coding. I emjoyed this course so much, I think so far this was my absolute favorite. My previos JS knowledge helped a lot but because in general I am not super good with the user interface and design part, I really enjoyed that I could play around with the data and just played with the functions and I finally understood OOP :D I am so happy!
