Challenging but exciting.

Learning the basics of coding has been an exciting and rewarding experience. I'm now eager to keep learning and improving, exploring new concepts and technologies.

This was a great introduction to coding. Everything was broken down into very understandable mini lessons. The module slowly built on established learning blocks until I was able to develop a full page.

I recently completed the SheCodes web development course and it was a fantastic learning experience. Our instructor, Matthew Delac, was excellent. The SheCodes Basic Workshop is a beginner-friendly program and explanatory course designed to teach women like me through hands-on projects, I’ve learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, guided by expert mentor Matt.

Great course with easy-to-follow instructions. The exercises assure that you can translate the topics into action. Having on-demand modules allows to learn according to your own schedule. It's a fun way to learn how to code! Highly recommend!

It was an amazing workshop. I got to add to my current knowledge from API to JS templates. I will keep working on my skills to write clean and readable code.

The SheCodes Plus AI Workshop was an amazing experience! I learned so much and gained valuable hands-on skills in AI integration.

Learning JavaScript has been a mix of excitement and challenge. But as I got more hands-on and started building small projects, everything started to make more sense. The more I worked with the DOM, added interactivity, and started dealing with APIs, the more I realized how powerful and versatile JavaScript is. Overall, it’s been a journey of persistence, with each breakthrough feeling like a small victory.

Learning React and building a weather application was a long and complex process that required significant effort and support. The course was well-structured, providing clear explanations of React fundamentals while introducing practical skills that still demand ongoing practice and learning. The hands-on approach of creating a real-world project and applying my basic coding knowledge helped me solidify my understanding and gain confidence in my abilities. By the end of the course, I successfully submitted a weather app that reflects my learning, though I continue to refine it by adding responsive design and accessibility features aligned with WCAG 2.2 guidelines. I am very pleased with Matt and his team for supporting me in this new pathway!

The Plus Workshop really built on what was learned in Basic and the Add-On and helped to solidify those skills. It was fast-paced but easy to follow and navigate. I feel much more confident in my skills having made a new project as well as learned how Git and GitHub work.

I had a great experience with SheCodes. The breakdown of learning was clear and structured, making it easy to follow along and build my skills step by step and the motivation and support from the SheCodes team and community kept me engaged and confident throughout the journey.

Another enjoyable workshop from SheCodes! React seems simple and complicated/advanced all at once. I found learning React to be fun and really liked putting together the final project. I am excited to revisit previous projects and improve them with React and everything else I have learned up to this point.

As a complete beginner and definitely not at all tech minded i was concerned that this course would be beyond my abilities but wanted to give it a go. Imagine my surprise to have just been able to submit my final project, an actual webpage with an interactive button. I am beyond proud! Thank you so much to the Team for helping me so much, quite often when i was stuck and something wasn't working it was simply a missing bracket or colon, i will check for these in future and will look forward to doing the next course!
