The intro to coding course was a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to code. It's incredibly informative and enjoyable, while moving at a pace that is easy to follow. I'm looking forward to moving forward in the course!

I had a great time learning and doing all the tasks and projects. I'm satisfied and proud of myself with what I've learned, although I know I'm still learning. First of all, it has been a lot of fun to create by using html, css and JavaScript. I was very scared to dive into the tech world before joining SheCodes. I did a lot of researches on different courses to be a developer but so far, I find this course most suitable for me. Matt 's lecture is so practical and I like the fact we actually "code" instead of going through a lot of theories. I am excited to continue my journey as a developer thanks to SheCodes!

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the SheCodes Introduction to Coding Workshop, and I'm very much looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus! Matt explains things clearly, and I think the course set-up is excellent - the challenges are very helpful, the homework is useful for helping cement the new knowledge, and the final project was a fun way of testing my new skills, and starting off my coding portfolio. The Slack community is also very supportive, and it feels so good when you can help others as well. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into coding, whether you are starting from scratch or have some very basic HTML knowledge like me.

I had a wonderful time during the workshop. I'm a graduate student in Plant Biology, and I was looking for expanding my skillset during the quarantine. Classes were easy to follow, and the support team on Slack very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to program, even those without much time on their hands.

SheCodes changed my life! I never thought I could learn to code, especially not online and not in Javascript. It also helped me a lot to develop my patient side and be a more detailed person. Great introductory course, I had a little knowledge of HTML but this has given me more insights into how everything fits together and some tools to keep on learning. The community on slack is great and really helpful.
In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.
As a someone with very little coding experience the SheCodes workshop was manageable while offering some challenging exercises. The structure and community offered me a sense of direction that was difficult to find on my own.
I didnt knew anything about programming, Tbh i was scared of even thinking abut it , but then I thought that if i want to have better labor opportunities i might as well give it a try , s here i am being fascinated of why i didn't do it before! This work shop is Great for beginners, is very well explained .

Really liked this 3 weeks Workshop. The amount of content of each class is easy to digest and absorb. I was able to remember all the information that I gained and the exercises were really useful and fun to do!
It's quite impressive how in just three weeks coding doesn't feel like a foreign language anymore. It's exciting to think of all the possibilities to apply this new skill to my design work.

I took a BIG FAT chance, by seeing an AD somewhere and jumped right into Shecodes because I loved what Shecodes stood for. I'm someone with limited experience and brand new to the field. Just to finally complete the final project and understand the language of coding has been SUPER rewarding for me. The structure of the class didn't always make sense in the beginning, but TRUST the process and the guidance. By the way, Matt's voice is sooooo soothing and easy to follow that I was constantly re-playing his videos without losing focus.
I loved how flexible the program was with time and levels of interactions. As someone who prefers to learn on my own I felt like I had enough resources to reach out if i needed help but also challenged at time same time.

SheCodes is a great way to start learning how to code with ZERO knowledge. I came with a background in E-Commerce, curious to learn what goes into making a website. My education experience is actually in Social Work, so I was definitely intimidated to go into learning something completely different than my previous education experience. SheCodes makes it easy to learn coding at your own pace. They don't walk you through EVERY little thing, but encourage you to do your own research at times during the course. There is an awesome community that helps you with your questions along the way. I did the 3 week course, and am highly contemplating upgrading to the advanced courses. I would recommend it to anybody who feels that coding can be a little daunting, and doesn't know where to start. It's a great tool for the price.
The course is easy to follow and the instructions were very clear and informative. There is a lot to learn within a short period of time and since it is online it requires a lot of self-discipline.
I always love to learn new skills quickly but efficiently and SheCodes offers exactly that! It went quickly but I understood everything pretty well. Now, I want to pursue my love for coding by taking the next workshop that is offered to me!
SheCodes Plus was just what I was looking for in a coding workshop. It's a great entry into learning vanilla javascript and how to host your own website! The weather project that I worked on over the course of the program really helped cement all of the new techniques I was learning each week. I look forward to learning even more in SheCodes React :)

SheCodes Plus has been very challenging, but rewarding. I've gone from knowing very little about JavaScript and other materials on the course to now having skills I can continue to develop on my own in order to become an even better web developer.
I have no words to describe how SheCodes made me learn something completely new and from scratch since April. My first SheCodes Workshop was supposed to be in Porto (4-5th April) instead it was a full weekend online and it was awesome! Even far away i felt connected. I wish we could have been together, get to know each other. @Matt, when this is all over lets do a big reunion with live music :) These workshops are time well spent really, always a challenge :) Thanks to all the SheCodes Team for the support! SheCodes Plus made me realize how much I love coding, although it was challenging I really enjoyed trying to figure out how to fix my code and being creative at the same time. This is a great workshop! Between the lecture videos and the challenges in each lesson, the material is delivered in a clear, concise way. Before any other beginner coding workshops or courses, and believe me, I've looked at TONS, I'd suggest SheCodes. It's the most beginner friendly workshop I've found and the community is so supportive and talented!
This course is really well thought out. The lessons are the perfect bite-sized pieces, which build up your knowledge and you are then able to carry out the challenges and it all makes sense! Highly recommend doing this course to everyone.
When I decided to learn how to code I found out a lot of free material available online but I was missing structure, support, and motivation. SheCodes made coding looks easier, colorful, and funny. This course provided me with an easy, yet challenging, and accessible way to learn about some web development basics. The schedule of courses/challenges was provided in a way that allowed you to learn a bit at time and then build on your knowledge. It was broken down in a way that made it less overwhelming. I've improved my coding skills beyond my wildest dreams! Even though parts of the course have been quite difficult, the weeks have really flown by. The support provided by the SheCodes team (Matt, João & Lexi) has been awesome and there's always a friendly helper to lend a hand. I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and deep-sea dive into the unknown world of coding, as It's opened my eyes to potential career opportunities for the future.
I went into SheCodes with 0 coding experience. I've had a great time the past three weeks where I've learned and done more than what I thought I was capable of. I strongly recommend this workshop for women who have always been intimidated of coding, don't let that hold you back! At the beginning I could not imagine I was going to find coding fun but I genuinely do now and I can't wait to learn more.
I had never been interested in coding before, but after having attended and completed this first workshop I really feel I would love to learn more. The course is well structured, tailor-made to suit newbies, and easy to fit in a busy schedule. It was also very rewarding to see exercise by exercise how much I was learning. I will definitely be enrolling in another SheCode workshop in the future. In the meanwhile, as Matt says, Happy Coding Everyone!
Coding felt like an unachievable goal with a tsunami of things to learn but SheCodes take you through it stage by stage without looking to the future, which all felt too intimidating, then suddenly you're three weeks down and you've happily done a lot of work without it feeling scary! Although still challenging I'm really looking forward to pursue this further, it's very satisfying work!

I have had so much fun learning the basics of coding in this course! Matt and his team have developed a well-structured course that is easy to follow. My favourite parts are the little challenges that are very satisfying to complete and a really fun way to test the knowledge taught! 10/10 would recommend this for beginners wanting to learn to code (properly) but in a fun and supportive way.
SheCodes introductory workshop has helped me change the way I view and understand how coding has a large impact to our everyday lives from all the software and programs we use.
Despite already having some coding experience and my goal being to take the more advanced courses, I really enjoyed this introductory workshop! It made me understand in a much clearer way how HTML and CSS work. I liked the teaching method and would 100% recommend this workshop for anyone who's never coded before.
