The workshop is amazing, Matt Delac is fantastic, I have learned a lot during these months, if there is a problem you can ask for help in Slack, the staff are willing to help you in everything and they are very understandable. I highly recommend the course, if you are thinking of doing it, do it.

I loved this workshop! I plan on taking the React workshop after this. I am a product manager and manager of our engineers, so having a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java is already helping me communicate more confidently with my team.

A very interesting course that has taught many things in a very short time. Most of the explanations are easy to follow and some of them are more challenging. Overall, I have really enjoyed this course. I didn't know I could enjoy coding, but now I am looking forward to learning more and soon start SheCodes React.
SheCodes workshop has been a great experience! I had never coded before and I was scared it would be a nightmare, but SheCodes made me feel excited to learn, with lessons which were easy to follow, enough practice exercises (with explained solutions), while still being challenging.

SheCodes Plus has been a great experience from start to finish. Every lesson is explained clearly and the challenges throughout the course ensure you thoroughly understand each topic. Lot of work but definitely worth it.
The structure of the program really allowed me to process and implement each learning. I had some issues sticking with the timeline but they were very understanding and still allowed me to complete the program past the deadlines. Overall the way the classes were taught and logic explained, allowed me to build a strong foundation to pursue coding further! Highly recommend and looking forward to taking the Plus course next.

A really fun and educational workshop that's perfect for kickstarting your front-end coding journey. I really recommend SheCodes to those who want to acquire new skills. At first I knew nothing about coding (whats more, I couldn’t tell the difference among HTML, CSS,Java Script before this course). However it’s wasn’t any problems at all. Video includes visual understanding and clear instructions. Every challenge and homework always makes me feel motivated and accomplishment.I was so lucky to have this opportunity.

I enjoyed the SheCodes Workshop very much. The workshop pace is just right, and you can watch and rewatch the videos at your own time. These topics were initially rather daunting, but this workshop exceeded my expectations. The Challenges at the end of each lesson help reinforce the teachings and allow us to practise. The website and videos are nicely done, and the SheCodes Radio helped me focus during my Challenges and project. It was a lot of fun doing the course and the project. I have been interested in coding for a while (actually, since middle school when we learn how to code with QBasic - yes, so long time ago 😁), so finally I decided to join SheCodes. SheCodes workshop is super well structured and easily explained. After just 3 week course, I was able to create my own one-page website! I highly recommend! ✌👩💻

Just based on this first workshop, this workshop is a little too easy. Most of the information can be obtained through other resources, especially Google, and the comments towards the assignments are not helpful. On the two assignments that I submitted, the only comment I received was "Your solution is valid." Pros: -Can go through lessons at own pace (I was able to finish the three week course in one week) -Assignments are graded in a timely manner Cons: -Not much quality feedback
Glad I was able to learn from SheCodes. It has been such fun learning something new and being able to think differently. Can't wait to continue the journey :)

SheCodes Workshop totally exceeded all expectations of what I thought the course would be like, and what I would gain from doing it. The prospect of learning how to code (effectively from scratch!) was daunting at first, but the course format, structure of each lesson, set tasks/challenges and weekly homework projects made my coding journey not only fun and digestible, but also extremely rewarding. Being able to receive personal feedback as well as learn and take inspiration from other coders on the Slack channel was a real bonus, and it has been great to be part of the community! I'm really pleased with the knowledge and skills I've gained from doing the Workshop course, and can't wait to challenge myself further with SheCodes Plus/Plus React 😊.

Learning about vanilla JavaScript has finally demystified the "complexities". Before this course, I was very confused about how JavaScript worked. I knew that it is incredibly powerful and in fact powered most of the internet or websites. But I just didn't how it worked. This course gave me the wonderful gift of finally understanding and loving JavaScript and having a ton of fun with it. I finally understand that it is a language of functions and you create those functions to bring features to life. And incredibly so, learning JavaScript empowers you in understand other languages as well. It's truly incredible. Once again thank you to the whole SheCodes Team and Matt for this wonderful journey and all their support. These 3 weeks have been challenging but interesting. Every course had me engaged, and the classes kept pulling at my curiosity about the power behind coding. I am excited about the upcoming workshops and all there is to learn.

I was terrible at programming in high school, so I didn't have much confidence in myself to do well at this course. The videos and challenges were well-structured and easy to follow, and I'm surprised both at how much I learned and how well I ultimately did. The course was a lot more satisfying and fun than expected, and I'm glad I did it!
Shecodes was fun and great for beginners! I love that its designed for women to help empower us in the coding career field! I can't wait to take the next steps with shecodes plus. Highly recommend for any woman looking to enhance their skill set.

I'm so grateful for this course. It wasn't always easy but the challenge is half the game. Trying to find the right answers in the previous lessons, the world wide web, and if all fails then dear João is there to set your code straight. In coding, the devil really is in the detail. One little single quote missing and the entire function, possibly several, will be affected. I love coding!
I have tried to learn programming for a long time, I just didn't know how or where to start. I tried various free courses but I never finished them because I didn't actually feel like I was learning. With SheCodes I feel like I have learned and I have what I need to start something amazing. I'm about to major as a Mechanical Engineer and I feel like programming can lead me to a new path that I've always wanted. Thank you SheCodes.
Thanks to this module I was able to implement a reactive page allowing me to interact with different APIs. This has also given me the opportunity to learn how to interact with APIs and how integrations work. Great module! I'll continue with the next one, willing to improve and reach a turning point for my education.

The SheCodes Plus workshop is well explained and practical. There is a nice combination of video's and practicing. You learn by working on your own project. I didn't expect to be able to make weather app in such a short time! The last lessons enable you to start another nice project on your own, after finishing the workshop.

I had an interest in learning how to code but I thought it was going to be hard for me to learn. SheCodes made it easy to understand, and enjoyable to learn. I always felt like if I was stuck on something, help was right there. Matt explained each assignment/homework so that it wasn't difficult. He made everything do much easier to understand. I'm looking forward to using the skills I have gained from SheCodes!
SheCodes is a great place to start learning code. I was a skeptical at first because my young mind doesn't do well with people telling me exactly what I should be doing and not giving me the freedom of making my own projects or learning on my own. Matt's lesson give you very clear knowledge and so much room to learn things in your own way and at your own pace. I hope everyone can learn as much as I did. Can't wait to go out and learn more! 😋

I'm so glad that I had the determination to initiate this course! It's been years ago since I felt curious about coding but never felt it was the right moment and I dind't know where to start. Like most people, I had the idea that it was a difficult and innaccessible subject, plus, my area of study is not related to it (psychology). But this course is so well structured and the lessons are so clear that it made me realize it is possible to understand the basic principles and enjoy it. In summary, I think I've learnt something really worthy and as my limiting beliefs faded I feel encouraged to continue my journey in the world of programming!

I really enjoyed these few weeks coding with you! As Matt says in the free coding class you can learn to code on your own for free on Internet, but here you have exercises, materials and video lessons already prepared for you. All you need to know is how to schedule your time :) Great workshop!

I love that this program is mostly self paced. You do have deadlines to keep you on track but it is doable. Matt explains the material simply and easy to understand. Make sure to take notes during the videos to compare your work.
