This class is really fun so far. And very informative. I like the fact that i have access to Developers. They have helped me solidify quite a few concepts already. I can't wait for the next course to start.
SheCodes has been an amazing, informative, and interactive workshop to dwell into coding. Before this I had no experience in the listed languages and now I am able to create a whole webpage from scratch. This is an amazing accomplishment given my minimal knowledge before hand. I highly recommend this to any ladies looking to get their hands into coding!

I do believe it's never too late to start pursuing something you always want to do and it's happened to me with coding. This time last year I would not see myself to be able to create a web page from the scratch and today I'm publishing my very first coding piece of work 🤩 Thank to this pandemic for giving me more free-time to seriously focus on coding and with SheCodes, my self-taught coding journey has been so much easier. A big call out to Matt and João who have been so accommodating and patient to address all of my inquiries on Slack including "silly" ones 😂🙈🙏. SheCodes is so fun and so helpful! I started the program without even really knowing what coding actually was and three weeks later I've built a whole page. It was very affordable and helpful. The videos are straight forward and interesting, and the lessons run in a very orderly way that makes a lot of sense. I liked it so much I'm excited to launch right into Plus and would definitely recommend it even for the coding-curious and absolute beginners.
This was my first coding class and I loved the format! Getting to move at my own pace but being held accountable for weekly deadlines was really motivating without being overwhelming. I also loved being able to leverage Slack when needed for help on assignments or just to see whether others were encountering the same challenges I had. SheCodes is a true community!

I'm so glad I found SheCodes! I'm currently looking into switching to a career in tech so I've been using different platforms to learn how to code. SheCodes really helped me to understand what I've been learning already with all the challenges, and the project. Before I was just absorbing information, but after going through this program I feel a lot more confident about coding. I would suggest using another coding program at the same time as you're completing the SheCodes basic workshop since you don't dive too deep into HTML, CSS, and Javascript. But if you sign up for the other workshops you most likely won't have to do that. Overall I really enjoyed this workshop!
Hello, I was excited to take this class but due to personal circumstances, I could never take it. Then the pandemic hit, and I suddenly was allotted way more time to focus on a new skill to improve my resume and overall knowledge. Although it was hard to balance home life and this class, I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. This class provides you the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript so that way you can expand on that learning in the future. Thanks Matt!
I loved how every video at SheCodes focused on a different topic, making it really easy to follow or go back when in doubt. Both the explanations and videos complemented each other really well. I had some prior knowledge of coding, but now I can say I understand more in-depth what I do thanks to each and one of the exercises. Although I did not have to use Slack much for doubts, it felt great to know I could ask anything when in need. I am very happy to have enrolled in this course at SheCodes and definitely looking forward to the next ones. I feel more motivated than ever to continue with my coding skills. I love how beginner friendly the SheCodes Express Workshop is. The information is presented in a way that is easy to understand. Also the resources and programs used throughout the course made coding less intimidating, which I greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend this workshop for first time coders.
I've been interested in coding for almost my whole life, but was scared it would be far too complicated to ever learn. SheCodes has helped me realize that coding isn't all that hard after all! I'm really excited to continue learning more going forward!

I enjoyed this workshop to the fullest. Thank you Matt for creating this platform , i have always wanted to learn how to code , but i bought into the stereotype of it being too complicated or having to be great at math and so on. This workshop completely shattered those stereotypes and i'm glad i took a leap. I took the 3 week taster workshop just to see if I'd like it. I'm a nature nut and most of my friends at University were computer scientists. Can't believe I waited 8 years to start coding! It was an amazing, challenging and new way to spend free time during quarantine. I work in the forestry sector where not many people like to engage with tech so I'm hoping to bring something new to it. I'm definitely going to enroll in the next level! Thanks SheCodes!

I've learned so much in the last 3 weeks and have really enjoyed having to find some of the solutions on my own. It helped me understand the process better and the video lessons were super informative and easy to follow.
SheCodes is Amazing...Like really REALLY AMAZING. Its a sensational learning tool. After only two weeks, I was able to make this project with no help while working 84hr weeks during the CoVid19 pandemic. I can't stress enough that I was at level 0, in terms of technical knowledge, when I started this workshop. My confidence in my ability to learn computer languages has to have gone up by 100%.

I absolutely loved this course! I came into it knowing a little HTML but still felt like I learned leaps and bounds more. The HTML and CSS were by far my favourite part. they were fun to watch and I loved the challenges. I wish javascript had focused less on alerts/prompts and much more on functionalities you see on websites you use now. I know what we learned can be applied to other functions but still feel not sure how I would apply them. That's really my gripe about the course. The project was really fun and wish there was more!

This workshop blew me away! The curriculum thoroughly introduces HTML, CSS, and JS. I especially enjoyed the structure and available resources. Each lesson includes a video and a challenge to practice the learned skills. The course also grants access to a messaging software that allows collaboration between students. React is widely used nowadays and has a huge community of developers so it's great to learn it and find a lot of documentation and examples online. Learning React with SheCodes was great because the lessons and exercises make it a lot easier to learn, step by step, and Matt always teaches the last "trend" and what is being used right now. It was a lot of fun!

I saw an add for SheCodes online and it instantly caught my eye. I currently work as a Business Analyst within an IT Dept and was looking to learn some extra skills. It's been almost 15 yrs since I learned any type of HTML and I was worried I wouldn't be able to squeeze it into my busy schedule. However SheCodes breaks each lesson into digestible parts which allows you to complete them throughout the day at your own pace. I love the Slack community and found it extremely helpful to search when I needed assistance. The challenges for each lesson and homework due each week was very beneficial and helped keep me on task! I enjoyed working on my project and discovered I truly love working with the design of websites. The feeling of accomplishment I get from completing this course is very inspiring and I think I have found my new favorite hobby that is actually productive. Who knows what the future holds! Thank you Matt and Team for creating such an professional and inclusive workshop!

What a great way to learn! I really loved the accountability. It was so important for me to finish my homework every week and make sure I really understood the content. I've completed tons of my homework before - I have a Bachelor's and my MBA - but it's been awhile! The content was broken down in easy chunks, but also gave you enough challenge that you had to push yourself. A great way to learn the basics.
I knew absolutely nothing about coding but had a lot of interest in learning it. Now I have solid basics and feeling glad I just started a new path for the future.

I'm a language expert, but never thought the CSS, HTML or JavaScript language would ever be added to my CV... Coding rather looked like magic to me, and it still does! In barely 3 weeks, we've learned how to build a basic HMTL page in Visual Studio Code, and this is all thanks to @Matt Delac and the SheCodes team 👩🏼💻.
