I am really happy that I decided to take this workshop. It's really easy to understand Matt when he is coding and thanks to flexible video lessons you can manage your time how you want.
I really liked the course! The learning system was fun and the challenges were engaging. It helped me get my foot through the door with learning programming. This is a great beginners course.
Wow! I absolutely loved this course. I have a background in Fashion Design, but I am looking to transition into UX/UI. I wanted to take this course because I do not have a background in coding. I will admit that I was scared before starting this course but I quickly felt empowered rather than scared! I will highly recommend this to anyone who wants to broaden their knowledge and understanding of coding. Thank you for a wonderful 3 weeks!

The SheCodes Basics workshop was the perfect start into coding. I liked that we had to apply the theory right away, so that you understand it quicker.

SheCodes Basics is a great introduction to coding, especially if you're not sure where to begin with free resources. All the videos are very clear, and having technical assistants on hand via Slack is invaluable!
This workshop was my third from SheCodes. Coding is challenging but with the guidance SheCodes team, it is easier! I love the personal approach to the students and the help behind the projects. Everything is well explained, the homework helped me to practice and the real-life projects are great as a tool to practice but also to put it to a portfolio as well. I can't wait to start the next SheCodes workshop! 100% recommended!
Matt really breaks it down to the most basic principles, making it easy and enjoyable to learn. The deadlines make it easier to conform and more likely that the SheCodes workshops are completed if you need that structure in your life! And the aesthetics and bite-sized lessons help with attention, too. :D I am really really looking forward to progressing with the next workshops. It has been a really fulfilling journey so far.

As someone who has no prior coding experience and was unsure of how effective online learning would be for me, I'm so glad I took the plunge and completed the SheCodes course! The video tutorials and pre-made resources were instrumental in making sure I stayed the course and found success in learning the basics of HTML, CSS & JavaScript. This class was hard but was great to take because of the actual exercises we did. I'm a visual learner, but I also need to be hands-on, and this class took care of both.

I really loved the lessons in SheCodes Plus -- they were super comprehensive and easy to understand. It was great that the final project could be as complex or a simple as you wanted to make it, leaving a lot of room for creativity!

The bootcamp gave me the basic skills I needed to become good at web development. The projects were a fun way to practice the skills I gained.
Pursuing the advanced courses of SheCodes Plus was a worthwhile effort. Before SheCodes, I'd been going through self-teaching coding courses and nearly gave up. I'm glad I didn't. With SheCodes Basics, all the concepts I'd been trying to understand and figure out had finally clicked and I knew I was on the right path for me. I wanted to do something new and different and I came across this SheCodes website. I wasn't sure at first if I'll like it or not, but as soon as I started learning how to code then boom! Here I am, finishing up my first-ever coding course. It was a lot of fun learning through this course and I think I found my new hobby:) I will for sure keep learning and stepping up to take more courses here.
I learned so much during these 3 weeks! I like that videos are straight to the point but not overly technical/long. This course has inspired me to dive into the Pro workshop and potentially pursue a career in front end development.
SheCodes Plus is an amazing course to upgrade the skills and become a front-end developer. It's never too late to change careers and the fact that classes are online let students have the freedom to choose the best way of doing them!

I was a complete beginner but the course is set out really clearly with short videos that are easy to follow along with and weekly deadlines to keep you on track. Once again a great workshop! I learned so much during these few weeks. The workshop teaches you how to make a website responsive, i.e. compatible for different devices, which is nowadays a crucial knowledge for every coders.

I've been working in Finance my whole life and decided to try something different. I was always interested in programing and this course seemed like a good way to start coding. I can say that I'm not disappointed. Really enjoyed the classes and the way how Matt teaches. It was really fun! :)
Wow, what a journey! SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge, but I feel so accomplished. We went from designing a simple wire-frame, to coding a functional weather app with real data. I never thought I'd go this far, but with patience and practice I created my very first web-app, how cool is that?!
If you can keep pace and stay self guided throughout, this class is PHENOMENAL. You learn so, so much in such a short period of time. I will be using these new-found skills for my own personal independently operated graphic design business, but also hopefully in a job I get soon (I am already in interviews for a Project Manager position).

I had a lot of fun building my final project. It was challenging and sometimes felt desperate, but in the end you can always find an answer if you ask or google well enough! It feels that I`ve learnt so much in the course of this project.

SheCodesPlus has been both a fun and challenging journey for me! I enjoyed the fact that I could watch the video lessons as many times as I needed and I could even go back to them after a while in case of doubts! Matt's explanations are clear and easy to follow and the support team on Slack is really competent, kind and helpful! I am really appreciative of all of the hard work behind building/maintaining this project and of the great working opportunities many of us are going to get from the newly-acquired knowledge.
Very interactive! Most enjoyable coding workshop I have ever taken. Whereas with most others I easily get fatigued and am quick to take a break, I honestly could not stop myself from going on to the next video! Very well designed.

I'm a stay-at-home parent and was considering learning a new skill. I came across SheCodes and enjoyed every bit of what was offered! Being a 100% online workshop provided the convenience I needed to learn at my own pace and still manage my day-to-day duties. The lessons and challenges were just the right length and difficulty to keep me engaged. They also provided an extension, which was very helpful as I had unexpected circumstances arise. I liked it a lot although it was really tough to do while working full-time. Sometimes the timing was a bit difficult, I had to wait for a response on Slack since it's no live teaching and thus my time schedule got disrupted a bit. But overall it was a wonderful experience to test out if coding might be something I want to do more frequently. Thank you, SheCodes!

Starting out, I was pretty uncertain about coding and the classes in general. My focus has always been in human medicine(as a career) but the past three weeks have completely transformed my paradigm! It's not that I've dropped my medical aspirations; rather, I've become so passionate about coding that I can't wait to use it to transform medicine as we know it!
This is a great workshop for anybody who is looking to learn coding. The lessons and coding challenges are very doable and proportionate to the level. It is suitable for any level of coder and fun to try.
Good instructional videos that are perfect for beginners and are in a format that allows you to work at your own pace. I had prevously seen some complaints about instructors' referral to online forums, but that is standard practice and also very useful so I wouldn't let that deter anyone. SheCodes basics is truly the basics, but I enjoyed it. Looking forward to moving on to SheCodes plus!
The course is very interesting and well explained. Matt puts a lot of effort to ensure that even beginner in coding can follow up and team makes sure everyone feels 100% supported during the course. A few years ago I was afraid that if I would join any coding course I would be judged for lack of experience and knowledge in the subject but SheCodes is probably the nicest corner of internet that you an ever find!

After nearly 10 years working in the digital/website industry, I had so much fun learning more about coding. Matt teaches the basics of HTML, CSS and JS through short videos and challenges - everything is clear, easy to understand and there's always Slack if you need help.

This is my 4th course with SheCodes and I'm really glad I took it. The first 3 courses taught me so much about numerous coding technologies, but what I created lacked the responsiveness on mobile devices - something that is so important in this day and age. It's still a long journey for me to become a full-fledged front-end developer, but SheCodes Responsive definitely gave me the knowledge I needed to take one step closer towards that goal.

This course was great for dipping my toes into the waters to see if this might be a career I'd be interested in! The videos were not too in-depth, but very easy to follow and challenging enough that some critical thinking skills were required. This course has shown me that I might have what it takes to go into full-stack development!

I always thought I wasn't smart enough to understand how to write code. I'd tried to learn in the past, and each time I struggled to feel capable in writing something on my own. Someone recommended SheCodes, and I'm glad I gave it a try. I feel like I have a much better understanding of what the different pieces do and of the syntax. I feel like I really can code, and I feel capable for the first time.
This program let me take everything I learned from the other programs and adjust based on what is being used to view them. Making our sites responsive is so important! I learned how to do that without all the homework assignments and the final profile.

I enjoyed this basics workshop, I needed it to get me going.
Lessons are easy to understand even for total beginners. It's just the right amount of basic informations and they encourage you to explore. Materials are not too packed for each week and could always be squeezed into a busy schedule (extension requests can help in dire times, too).
I don't have much knowledge in coding before joining this course but now i am in the position to create simple interactive web pages and i felt this is really a great and perfect course for beginners who really like to code. This is fantastic course. Fun and Happy to be part of it.
I've been considering making a career switch into the tech field and started by teaching myself some basic HTML using free resources on my own. However, I learn best with a more structured approach and thought about trying out a Bootcamp but haven't been brave enough to take the leap. I decided to start with SheCodes basics to test if I can manage to learn the material within the deadlines and envision myself coding as a career. SheCodes was nice because it was very affordable and Matt taught us tricks that I wouldn't have been able to find on my own. All of the material was broken down into small steps and didn't feel overwhelming at all. Now I feel confident that I can succeed in a Bootcamp and enjoy doing this as a career.
Really enjoyed SheCodes plus, I love the split between learning through lessons and being set tasks to figure parts out. The SheCodes team are always so quick to get back to you about any issues with the work or needing any help with your account. Really looking forward to the next workshop!
