I knew nothing about coding and now I just want to learn more about it. I loved how each week was designed and I'm very proud of my project.
It has been such an amazing coding journey so far. I can not believe that I have built a working weather app using real weather data thanks to the fantastic pedagogically excellent knowledge transfer by Matt. I HIGHLY recommend this workshop to any one that has passion for tech. This workshop enabled me to see the strong features of JavaScript and opened my eyes to see the many possibilities that it offers in building apps. It is so fun having been exposed to the various challenges provided in this workshop.
I found out that you can learn to code regardless of your background by going to SheCodes for me, which is an amazing online resource. In the course of my journey, I found a new passion, new ways of learning and practicing content. One of the most rewarding experiences was learning with other women. Being able to see so many women who are passionate about the tech industry made me really proud. SheCodes deserves credit for making a difference, supporting minorities, and for having the idea to create workshops for women to up-skill in tech.

I enjoyed SheCodes SO much, much more than I thought I would. I heard so many great things and I found it so fun, the challenges were engaging, and I appreciated all the help they give. They offer many resources and coming from a beginner level, I never once felt like I had to give up. Frustrated? Of course! That's all part of being new at something. But the community was stellar, and Matts videos were super helpful.
This has been an uneasy but gratifying path. I have certainly learned a lot and become much better-organised with my code. Most importantly, I have widened my coding knowledge base to the extent that I never thought I would. I'd like to thank the company I work for, Exactpro, for encouraging and supporting me in taking the course. And I thank Matt and all the experts who are always there when you need them.

This course has been wonderful! It was so clear and every question I had was answered in great detail. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who's interested in learning to code. If you're a little apprehensive, not to worry! This course is not pressured in the slightest, it give you plenty of flexibility and help if you need it.
That was an incredible experience for me. I'm very happy that women are becoming more and more visible in this field, where gender discrimination is most prevalent. I want to thank the SheCodes team and especially Matt Delac, who made me love programming. It was a very well-organized and fun learning process. My advice to anyone wondering if I can do it: Don't wait and get involved in the process.
Fun workshop and the format is easy to follow. The self-pacing works really well, as it allowed me to set my own learning schedule to balance with other priorities like work and family.

I really loved participating in the workshop. It's easy to follow along and divided into good portions, so you don't get too overwhelmed with the input you're getting. The homework at the end of each week are really quite challenging, but definitely fun to do some research on your own and come up with solutions. I really liked building my own landing page in the end and am quite proud of what I've learned so far. Can't wait to learn more about coding.
Prior to SheCodes, I had no core experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The way Matt has structured the course, assignments, and projects has been thoroughly enjoyable. I learned so much in such a short amount of time, and I had the opportunity to create a project that suites my own interests. The guidance provided throughout this workshop has been so helpful and creates a wonderful sense of community despite this being an online workshop.

It was an incredible learning experience. Good content and good workload for those like me who have to reconcile with their professional life.
At times challenging, depending on how good you are at logical thinking, it was definitely a new way of having to think for me. But I'm overall happy with my project, and all the deadlines really helped as well.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to try their hand at coding. It's a lot of fun to be able to build something from scratch and immediately see the result. Matt explains what he's doing step by step and if you ever get stuck while you're coding you can just hop on to the Slack platform and ask for help. I'm excited to learn more!

I love puzzles and I genuinely love learning so when I found out about SheCodes, I had to sign up! I material is not easy but Matt does a great job of breaking it into smaller parts & challenges so that you can really take it one step at a time. I am enjoying this process so much! Its a good course on how to make your websites responsive. Leant a lot in this module. Its been challenging and has a deep learning curve but overall its been fun learning.

Excited to complete my final set of workshops, I hope SheCodes will offer a backend developer program in the future. As someone who never thought coding would be for me, I now am looking forward to continuing my education and becoming a full stack developer.
As a developer it has been very rewarding for me to have gotten to know and use React to create interactive user interfaces in a simple way and practice when coding has allowed me to improve in JavaScript. React is an excellent tool with which to create interactive applications for mobile, web and other platforms with a simpler design view. It also efficiently updates and renders the correct components when data changes.
I loved it! I learned a lot than I did in my University coding classes.
Everything is really well explained. Everyone has been super helpful. The weather app project was a great challenge. I learned a lot.
This was an enjoyable experience! I didn't realize how much I had learned or how much I would understand at the end. This made starting the project a daunting task to me. Once I started my project, I realized I recognized a lot more code as I was putting together different elements and working through trail and error. It was fun to see that I was able to create so much and it's only been a few weeks!
The basics course has been so wonderful. I am filled with excitement to continue on to the next course! Matt's delivery was fantastic, I feel so confident and ready to start the next steps of this journey... Bring on SheCodes Plus!

I'm so grateful for this opportunity. Before SheCodes I've tried to navigate web development on my own, it wasn't at all easy and I very made little progress. My initial goal was to finish this workshop in a month, along the line I got stressed and frustrated. I took a lot of breaks, thankfully the workshop was very flexible, I was able to take my time to finally understand JAVASCRIPT. I'm very excited for the knowledge I've gathered and I'm looking forward to all the wonderful projects I'm going to create.

Coding has always seemed very daunting to me, but the SheCodes basics course was the perfect introduction to coding. While there is a lot of information to take in, it's explained in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming. Having challenges based on the information you learn from a lesson is a great way to apply what you've just learned & helps it make sense in the bigger picture of coding.

The 3 week SheCodes course was the perfect introduction to the coding world! I was able to complete the lessons at my own pace and Matt's explanations were easy to understand. Although I have a lot more to learn, I feel like this course was a great foundation of knowledge.

Initially, I was concerned about not being able to understand coding. So I had been postponing this learning milestone for a long time. When I started with SheCodes, I selected 3 weeks for the basics, and still, I thought I would need some extensions. The 10th day has passed, and I've already completed the last project. What is truly amazing is how SheCodes simplify the complex process of learning such a difficult skill. I am very proud to be a part of this group now.
