React course was the most challenging part of my coding journey, but it was definitely worth it. It gives you a great basis for creating complex apps. I highly recommend this whole course.

I had no previous coding experience and was able to learn enough HTML, CSS and JavaScript in the Basics Workshop to build a webpage. I learned well with Matt's video lessons combined with the weekly homework. It's been really cool to see the endless possibilities and I'm excited that this is only the beginning.
I'm going to do all of the workshops but this one was amazing to introduce me to the computer science world and the basics of a website. I can't wait to start the other ones and learn everything from front-end development.
Loved learning JS more in depth and playing around with APIs. Although this course was more difficult than the last, Matt does a great job with showing you how to build the project from scratch to finish.
Great atmosphere. Knowledgeable and honest instructor with helpful assistants. I enjoyed the experience because it reinforces skills like problem-solving and communication.
This workshop has taught me a lot about coding that I thought I could never learn because it was "too complicated". The videos really are very easy to follow along, even to someone that has no prior experience with tech/ coding at all. Looking forward to learning more!

I have worked in healthcare for more than a decade and was looking to find something more stimulating and new to dive into. I received an invitation for a free coding session with SheCodes and became very interested in the world of coding. From someone who had never even seen what coding was, I feel proud and excited to have been able to complete the SheCodes Basic course. I really enjoyed the beginners course, so wanted to challenge myself by expanding my knowledge of coding. This was a really fun project to work on, frustrating at times but it feels amazing to have created my very own fully-functioning application from scratch!

This workshop is super interactive and the instructor explains everything in a really good way. It's very thorough and leaves you with a sturdy foundation to become a programmer. The lessons are short and precise, and there are exercises with every lesson (which makes it almost addictive - in a good way!). You will never get bored with this course.
I swear I will never stop learning and teaching.

Lessons where very detailed and well guided by Matt. Learnt so much from just 5 weeks! Am extremely happy that I am able to produce my own portfolio page where i can showcase to my future employers.
I completed the SheCodes Basics program with a working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I am able to create a basic, functioning, interactive webpage. I had tried a free coding camp previously but the content was not suited to my learning style, and they did not show us how to use actual coding tools such as VS Code and Colorzilla. I finished that course feeling more confused than when I started, online with SheCodes, where I actually learned useful things that I will be able to apply irl outside of the courses. The SheCodes course material is perfectly suited to my visual learning style, and being able to go back and reference the videos at any time, as well as work alongside them in real-time in VS Code, was extremely helpful. I feel confident in my knowledge and abilities. The Slack group is also an amazing resource and any question I asked was answered within an hour. There is a big sense of community and teamwork, and it is clear that everyone wants each other to succeed. I started the SheCodes Plus course this week and have already learned even more! What I really love about the experience is that I came into it not really knowing anything about computers, and thinking it would be hard to learn. However, Matt and the SheCodes team have created a program that is easy to learn, just the right amount of challenging, and most of all, fun! I will absolutely be recommending SheCodes to any woman in my life who may be interested in learning how to code. Its an amazing and extremely fun experience, and I cant wait to learn even more!
I went into learning how to code thinking that it would be really hard, but Matt and others at SheCodes have made it simple and really easy to understand. I had fun applying everything I have learned. I cannot wait to learn more!
With no previous coding experience, I have learnt a lot in this class. Html and CSS weren't much of a problem. I had a bit of challenge with javascript. But then with constant practice it won't be a problem soon!
SheCodes has meant a lot to me. I have had coding in the back of my mind for a long time, yet I was too scared and intimidated to dive into it. I've watched many 1-2 hour short webinars about different disciplines in coding (PM, QA, etc.), yet they all looked too complicated without having a prior foundation. The moment I watched Matt Delac's ''Free Coding Class'' it felt different. I was more capable of following along, and I was actually understanding. I even found it fun! I'm so glad I went for 3-week basic class, and I now feel more empowered, confident and able to take the next lessons!
I'm a product designer with no previous coding knowledge. I really wanted to understand how to keep scope down in my projects at work, and learn how to work better with my developers so that I could speak the same language as them. After just 3 weeks, my communication has improved tremendously with my devs! I couldn't believe it, and neither could they honestly hahaha. So grateful to have taken this workshop!

This workshop was very interesting. It's easy enough to learn and as very well explained. At the same time this workshop is extremely usefull.
I loved learning with Matt he did very well explaining everything. When i got stuck i would just go back on the video where i was stuck on or if the code wasn't working and then i was able to solve my own issues.
This is a challenging workshop, but I recommend it! It makes you think differently and with each challenge you believe more and more in yourself

Starting a change to a new career in programming I was very overwhelmed and scared by the complexity of the academic program as well as the language with which I started, however SheCodes helped me to realize that it is not only the language but also the way of transmitting knowledge and see it reflected in what is done, its connection with something real and tangible. Now I feel that I can learn to program and make beautiful, useful, functional and modern things.

I really enjoyed Matt's teaching style when learning during the Basics Course! He was able to explain the material very well and thoroughly. I didn't know where to start when it came to trying to teach myself how to code and was always on the fence about the FREE coding class in itself. But after listening Matt breakdown the curriculum step-by-step, I joined a free workshop and signed up for the Basics course the same day!
After SheCodes Basics convinced me to continue on my coding journey. The lessons are very well structured in short videos followed by a mini challenge. Matt does a great job of explaining everything so it's super easy to follow. I also appreciate the speed his team has in answering questions in Slack.
