SheCodes has been a great starting point for learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I was exposed to HTML and CSS through University which sparked my interest but there was a lot of assumed knowledge and I found myself scraping all sorts of things together for my assessments. I wish I’d found SheCodes earlier as I have a great basic understanding of these languages now. Matts videos are easy to listen to and understand and the tasks are just challenging enough but not overwhelming. Matts teaching style makes me excited to continue to learn more 😊

For the time and efforts required, the accomplishments of the Plus on my brain amaze me. There is a need of going in more depth with the logic behind the syntax and elements, at least for how my brain works. However I rather have this pills-size format and go deeper later, than having a chunkier content at every new lesson.

i like this course. It's good for basic knowledge of front-end development. I decide to continue study this item for myself. Its really intresting.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes workshop. I thought it was well planned, easy for me to follow. The work load was just enough, so i could finish everything with enough time, learn about the topics and not feel over loaded and rushed. The experience of this workshop has being nothing but positive.

It was a great adventure with Shecodes. I learnt a lot and it opened so many roads to explore and new opportunities for me. As a foreign language teacher I was a bit scared not to have enough knowledge about computering nor maths but the courses are really well made and the different concepts easily understandable. And it confirms my idea of getting into the coding industry ! I would recommend this course for anyone who is curious about coding and who wants to learn the fundamentals !

The SheCodes Basic Workshop is an easy to follow introduction to coding 🤓. Being able to do the lessons when you have time and working at your own pace makes this a great experience.

I have loved every minute of my SheCodes course and learned a lot of new skill. The mix of videos, tasks and also explaining the solutions has provided a great range of learning tools. The Slack channel for around the clock support is also great as you can ask queries and get a fast response if something is not quite working as you expected. I did not use this a lot but on the 2 occasions I did I received very useful answers in a friendly and timely manner. I feel a lot more confident coding now and look forward to progressing my career with the help of SheCodes!

I'd like to say that all difficult things seem to be much easier due to Matt's proper explanations. If you are interested in coding, tend to this area - then without any doubt - you should do it with SheCodes👧

SheCodes has made it a lot of fun to code and develop web applications. Their team has been very responsive in answering questions and troubleshooting issues. While there's still a lot left to learn, I am happy to have my fundamentals right that will help me expand my skillset.

I have been in the customer service industry for years, and the past few months I started looking more into coding. I had never done anything like coding before, so I was a bit intimidated at first, but when I found SheCodes and looked at their programs I was only excited! This course is perfect for beginners, in 1 week I went from knowing nothing to getting certified in intro to HTML, CSS, and Javascript! I'm looking forward to continuing with SheCodes Plus and the other courses after that to further expand my skills. The responsive workshop really takes your coding skills to the next level. Still lots to work on and these skills do not necessarily come second-nature like some of the previous workshops seemed to...but SO fun nonetheless! If you are going to take the Plus course, you should absolutely add this workshop in as well!

I have now completed three out of the four workshops and I feel like I truly am getting more and more prepared to join this line of work. I am feeling really prepared already and am looking forward to my final React course!

So much to still learn, but I like how the lessons build on each other. Can't wait for the next course!

Matt is an amazing instructor. I'm a slow learner but the way this course is taught coupled with the autonomy of getting to do it at your own pace makes this both enjoyable and easy to understand. I actually look forward to learning from Matt after my 9-5 and started viewing these lessons/challenges/homework as a mental break from my reality. I've already started recommending it to friends. It's entertaining to learn HTML, CSS, and JS. Lectures, challenges, and homework were fascinating to do! I realized that I wanted to learn more & more.

SheCodes has played a crucial role in my quest to start coding. Through step-by-step learning and hands-on practise projects, the courses have given me the fundamental knowledge to keep learning on my own with confidence.

Having completed the basic & plus courses, I was excited to take the next step. I'm so pleased with my final project, it looks very professional and I'm feeling confident in my responsive coding abilities. The step-by-step videos were easy to follow.

These past weeks I realized again after a long long time, that learning indeed can be fun. I just needed the right lessons and method of studying, which I found here at SheCodes. The lessons are easy to understand and the exercises afterwards are simple to do and help a lot to digest the new information. The homework at the end of the week were a great way for me to try my best to utilize what I've learned. I can't wait for the coming lessons it'll definitely be an interesting experience.

All the lessons are very simply explained, but at the same time are useful and full of interesting details. The coure is defenitely appropriate for the very beginners. Thank you, Matt and the whole SheCodes staff , for your hard work!

I just finished the SheCodes Basic Course and I'm so excited that after just three weeks I am able to built a basic website! I love that each lesson isn't longer than 10 min, so you learn in small steps and Matt explains really good! Totally recommend to do the course, if you are curious about coding but not sure if that's something for you.

This first workshop showed me it's never too late to learn new things and with the way the learning is combined with the practical part, it made it so much more enjoyable. Looking forward for the next ones!

The concept of SheCodes is great because of the flexibility it grants to its students. I manage to find the time in my busy schedule to learn at my own pace. In these past 3 weeks I’ve got basic notions of html, css and JavaScript using an interface that is motivating to learn.

My life was totally change at 24.02.2022. I lost my job and any opportunity to find other job. I understoos that I have to learn new skills. I loved the experience. I have been working with computer scientists for many years but whenever they tried to explain something to me I always found it difficult. After all, it is quite intuitive and interesting. Matt makes code look like something accessible to everyone.

Great workshop, you need to do a lot of studying on your own obviously if you want to learn but the workshop gives you structure and keeps you motivated while working on a real-life project.

I've always wanted to enhance my technical skills for years but as a busy working mom of 2 tots, finding a schedule that fit mine and budgeting a costly expense of a coding course was the hurdle. But with SheCodes, I was able to enrol on their affordable Basic Course geared for absolute beginners like myself and I completed it on my own free time! The lesson plans guided by Matt are fantastic and are easy-to-learn. I as a former teacher of English, and a person who had zero knowledge on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, can say that this course is really for anyone who wants to learn. It doesn't matter if you are into coding or not you just need to believe in yourself and give it a try. SheCodes worshops and courses are fantastic! Easy to understand and practical I think that's why I could learn fast. Great content and there's always support if you need or have questions.

This was my favourite SheCodes project so far. I learned so much about media queries and bootstrap. It was also a great opportunity to learn how to create more advanced features on my own like animations.
