This was an excellent experience, when they said SheCodes basics they were serious. This was challenging at times but more than all funny and I have the opportunity to practice with all the challenges and homework.
The workshop is very easy to understand. The instructor is great, he explains everything in interesting and fun way.

The Basics workshop was an amazing opportunity to dive into the world of coding. I am happy to have had such opportunity. I wish I could test my newly gained kowledge as much as possible now! If only there were more than 24 hours in a day...

I am grateful for the opportunity to take a training course at SheCodes. The learning process divided into weekly blocks is very convenient. The lectures are thought out, detailed, and not overloaded with complex information. There are homework assignments. At the end of the course, there is a small project. All this is really done for a beginner. I would like to continue!
I love love love studying on SheCodes. I run my own freelancing business and work crazy hours, mostly 7 days a week and 12 hours a day or even more. If it were not for the flexibility and the possibility to request extensions, I would have never been able to finish My Weather App. I gave myself an extra challenge to work with an Unsplash Api, so my ideal design is not finished yet. Regardless I cannot believe I actually got the app to work, especially the Javascript part. Thank you SheCodes you are so awesome, I can't wait to get started on the next two courses.

I had already done several online courses for coding before trying this one, but this one was well designed in terms of being user-friendly with helpful challenges for each lesson that consolidated the learning, and helped me feel more confident in my knowledge and skills. Enjoyed this Plus course a lot! I was excited to build my own weather application and am definitely proud of the result. You learn a lot of advanced stuff during this course and it can be pretty overwhelming at times, but it definitely helps when Matt reasures you to just take your time and most importantly to have fun. And I had a lot of fun!

The course has been fun and informative. I've known that I love coding since taking Web Design classes in high school, and through using MySpace so long ago. I'm glad I finally took the first steps in creating a career for myself. As a working mom, the hours were completely doable, and I don't regret signing up for this course. I'm excited to continue my coding journey!

I never thought I would love to learn how to code so much! I went to college for healthcare and slowly realized I'm burnt out and immediately knew I had to change something or do something that can be so fun and rewarding. I was looking online trying to see what kind of remote work I could do and as I was searching on YouTube I came upon an ad about SheCodes and what really drew me in was that it was all women! I did the info session with Matt and I fell so in love with the idea that this is actually a thing! Don't get me wrong, I knew it was a thing but to know theres a community of women on the same boat as me wanting to try something knew really excited me! I was nervous and at times, I did get frustrated a few times because I just felt like I wasn't getting it quick enough like everyone else. But Matt's videos are so well explained and the resources and information he gives are so reassuring and easy to follow that I'm so excited to learn more!

I recommend this course, especially teacher Matt Delac. Pleasant voice, great English and very accessible explanations. I think this is exactly where you should start your first steps in IT.
I had a blast working on the dictionary app. I will say building the weather app in React definitely helped me build confidence going into the dictionary app. It was so cool to see how breaking down each part of the dictionary into different components could make your code much easier to read and build. I can say I'm definitely a fan of React and I look forward to learning and using it more!

Hi, I really enjoyed the lessons. This is some kind of magic when you write code and immediately see the result. Very accessible and understandable, the main thing is to go to the goal.
SheCodes Basic course gives you a good overview of HTML, CSS, and Java - just enough so to grab your interest to pursue it in more advanced courses (or I guess also to let you know it's not really your thing...which is equally important). I liked the pace and was able to balance this with other demands throughout the week. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quick intro!
I've had so many great, sometimes frustrating, sometimes challenging, but awesome and useful times during all the workshops! I've learned a lot, I've known a lot, I've done a lot. Great course. As a full-time working mother of small children, I love the flexibility to be able to take classes when and where I want. This is the only program I have found to offer that flexibility.

As a person that had zero interest in computers, I feel completely inspired by the course. I signed up to the webinar so that I could bridge the gap in my knowledge to interact better with a student in my class that has a keen interest in coding. I never thought that i would enjoy coding so much myself. Matt makes everything so easy and his passion shines through which makes it very simple to follow. The course satisfies my creative flare as well as giving me the opportunity to solve puzzles. I'd recommend the course to anyone!

SheCodes Basics is a fun and non-intimidating introduction to web development. The challenges are difficult enough to be engaging without making you feel overwhelmed. The support team is responsive and kind to any needs you might have. I highly recommend trying it out!

First of all I'd like to say "Thank you all so much!" Now I see not jut how to built the web-page, but how many work do my colleagues -the web-developers - when create something new and unique. As a SDET I saw just a part of it. And now I see the "whole picture" and this is amazing. As the result of the first three weeks students know all about the building-blocks of the web-page, what is a peer-review and we understand how important it is. I hope, the next level will be even more interesting. Thanks Matt, you do a great job :)
