“Wonderful workshop. First of all, the way an expansion was taught was extremely easy to understand. One of the strengths of this program was its project-based approach, which assisted in the learning process. Slack chat is extremely helpful if I have any questions. Additionally, solving a project at the end of the workshop helped me to categorize the knowledge that I had acquired. As a result of this workshop, I have gained a great deal of knowledge about the basics of coding. Thanks a lot.”

I learned so much about advanced Bootstrap, Flexbox, Media Queries, and multiple-page hosting. I got creative with my coding skills and built a unique online portfolio that I am proud of. But what really made the workshop special was the teacher, Matt. He was simply amazing. He was knowledgeable, and passionate about what he was teaching. He provided clear explanations and examples that made it easy to understand complex concepts. Thanks to Matt, I not only learned a lot, but I also had fun doing it. Overall, it was a fantastic learning experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to expand their coding skills.

The SheCodes basics class has been fun, I enjoyed doing the challenges, homework and project. I now have a good background on html, css and javascript.

I enjoyed SheCodes. I learnt a lot and am so glad I did this course. Not only did the assignments and homework after each lesson help me retain the information, but the solution videos also helped me understand where improvement is required. 10/10, recommend.

This workshop has been amazing, I started off so nervous not knowing anything about coding or what it entailed. The lessons were easy to follow, informative and left me feeling confident about my abilities to complete the challenges and homework given at the end of each week. I work a 9-5 full time job so I would complete my lessons after I finish work. There wasn't one time where I did not look forward to logging in after work and getting stuck in to the new lessons. It has been such an enjoyable process and has left me wanting to learn more and more! I am very excited to see where my journey will take me now.

I just want to say thanks to such a good and fun way of learning. The way it is working with the little videos and then tha challenge after, it is perfekt! Hade so much fun, looking forward to continue with the pro class!

Before SheCodes I couldn't even understand coding as a concept, what it meant or how it existed. And in the space of 3 weeks I have gone from that, to being able to create a website by myself! Matt explains things in a really great way that lets you take it at your own pace, and the slack channel provided me all the support I could need. SheCodes has made coding totally addictive and I can't wait to continue my journey and keep learning.

I enjoyed this workshop because I was able to create multiple responsive HTML pages, which resembles what people see and use in terms of websites. I was also able to build on what I have learnt in previous workshops and in the end I am happy with my final project, a portfolio demonstrating my skills and previous projects.

My learning process so far has been a lot of fun and easy going- Matt has a very laid back and straightforward way of teaching code which is very conducive for my learning practices.

The responsive course was excellent and practical. The teaching method was very good and I learned fast.

Very intense 3 weeks of learning. All broken down to bitesize, easy to understand steps but I loved every bit of it!

I really enjoyed learning about libraries and being able to code this project. The classes and the workflow, as always, are very well structured. I'm super satisfied! Can't wait to learn how to turn all the my projects into responsive and gain some advanced development knowledge.

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus course and overall, I found it to be quite challenging. However, with the help of the SheCodes team and their well-explained videos, I was able to successfully navigate my way through the course material. Definitely the hardest of the courses I've taken from SheCodes, and I still have a lot to learn about React, but it was a great introduction.

I'm glad I did this SheCodes course, and I've definitely learnt how to apply my new knowledge to these actionable projects. I've learnt how to learn how to code, so the next few languages and frameworks I will able to pick up easier now that I know a little. The help throughout a few stages of my work has been super helpful in getting me unstuck. I've enjoyed doing the smaller challenges and building my knowledge and skills, they were able to give me win states. Super important when starting something daunting like learning to code from scratch.

This was a very interesting challenge for me. However, I was able to follow Matt's instructions and videos to help me navigate the systems and follow along.

I have really enjoyed the basics so far, never thought I'd be coding in a million years but here we are and loving it! Can't wait to start the next course!

SheCodes Basics is a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I would recommend it to any woman wanting to try out coding.

Since joining SheCodes Basic, I feel like I have learned so much than I did going the traditional route in school! Matt made it easy to understand the concept that was being taught. The challenges after most lessons were very helpful and the weekly homework helped in grasping what was taught. The projects helped put together what you learned and it was really fun to do! I am continuing with my SheCodes Max workshop and am so excited to be learning more! 🤩

I can say that for me personally I really enjoy how thorough and clear the lessons are because as someone with no prior knowledge at all, picking up and understanding the material became much simpler than I expected.

I started SheCodes with little to no knowledge about coding. I went in with the desire of exploring something new, and I enjoyed every bit of it. The React journey was definitely a bit challenging, but Matt explained everything clearly. It was nice to see him make mistakes too and learn with him as he fixes them. I am excited to create more applications and projects because I've gained a skill that I want to continue building upon!

I've been wanting to break into tech for a while now. I had no clue which path to take but kept getting coding ads. There are so many scams out here so I was skeptical at first, but based on reviews I've seen for SheCodes & knowing that it's a site to help women, I decided to try it. They even gave me a discount knowing my financial situation. I really enjoyed SheCodes Basics, it taught me a lot of valuable tools to use in coding as a beginner. I can't wait to move on to SheCodes Plus to keep learning more!

I absolutely loved this course! It gives you a solid foundation in HTML, CSS and JavaScript which you can then use to make your own projects. I thoroughly enjoyed all the challenges/homework and really loved the fact that not everything is 'spoon-fed' to you. You are encouraged to do your own research to figure out how to do things. The amount of knowledge I've gained from SheCodes is astronomical.

This project challenged me to apply everything I had learned and pushed me to think creatively. From fetching real-time weather data to dynamically updating the app's interface, every step of the process was a valuable learning experience. By developing a React weather app from scratch, this project allowed me to put my skills to the test and solidify my understanding of key React concepts. By leveraging React's powerful features and libraries, I was able to create a visually appealing and highly functional weather application. I Thank Matt and the SheCodes Team for guiding me through this challenge!

Matt is a great instructor and the course is structured just right for a beginner.

It was a challenge however, it was so exciting and absolutely fascinating to code.

A great workshop to learn about responsive website.

This course has been very helpful as I currently work with a CMS that requires HTML and CSS. Our web development team focuses more on the Javascript, but SheCodes Basic has introduced me to the concept of Javascript, which will help me better understand what goes on with both back-end and front-end coding.

I loved the opportunity to continue to practice my skills and learn some new ones through this add on project!

SheCodes Basics was a great way to start learning Web Development! The lessons are thorough, easy to follow up and the homework and project really put together all the information we learned over the last weeks. Two of my favourite things about the last weeks: the way the course is designed still pushes you to research on your own, which I found challenging but rewarding. Also, the fact that the course allows for self management - you can choose the times that better suit you, there are deadlines but all the classes are recorded so people who work or have other responsibilities can manage to learn and build a new career for themselves. Thank you, Matt and the team, for making it fun to learn a new language 🙃 we'll meet again in SheCodes Max 😄

Good intro to the front-end stack basics but missing some deeper explanations, specially in the JavaScript part

In SheCodes Plus I used SheCodes's team support in Slack many times and It was really useful. I think that this online support in doing homework is a very huge advantage. You may have access to many courses for coding but without friendly support to do exercises and homework you may become frustrated of struggling to fix the bugs.

SheCodes helped me learn basic code without having to worry about feeling stressed or pressured. This course has helped me succeed in understanding the basics of coding!

I've had a fantastic journey with SheCodes, I've been challenged and learned a lot in the process.

I acquired new skills to create a functional world clock without using an api. I could immediately see the potential for applying these skills to other coding projects in the future. Overall, the world clock lesson was a remarkable experience.

Highly recommend everyone to take the add-ons projects! I've learned so many things i didn't know and wasn't included in the basic workshop. I'm so excited to start the next one.

It was an intense 8-week period that involved a lot of learning and hard work and sometimes tears. But it was all worth it in the end because I made my very first weather app from scratch and nothing can beat the ecstatic feeling when everything works and behaves the way you wanted it to. I have learned so much and can't wait to continue learning more.

The add-on workshops were really helpful in understanding the functionality and implementations of basic animations on images ! The best part about SheCodes's course is that at the end, they give you the choice to create a website about what you're passionate about, which makes the projects more interesting and fun to do.
