I had already had experience with coding and html. This basics shecodes course helped me to understand many concepts like dual padding,box-shadow and the rgba that they never taughts us at coding camp. It was really useful and insightful and the best part now is that i can write clean css code which was not possible without shecodes

I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a little insight into the art of coding. The content is easy to understand and there are interesting exercises and challenges. Overall it's really fun! My goal is to get to frontend development and get a job as a frontend developer. So far, I feel that this is achievable based on my experience during this workshops.

It was totally challenging but if you put in the hours and start knowing how to use the tools, the path can get a lot easier.
What a journey! I have just completed my very last workshop from shecodes and I won't get tired recommending it to friends. There are so many hints, tips and advice I received throughout my studies I am really grateful for. Also, as I come to realize that this is just the start, and that there are so many more options in creating a webpage, that this work is absolutely speaking to my creative half of the brain, and I am loving it!

Good project for hands-on practice using React
The add-on to the basics course was super insightful. It was nice to take the things that were learned in the basics course and then use that knowledge to grasp the new concepts taught in the add-on course! Very useful and good to learn even more about what html, css, and javascript can do.
In fact, I've always been curious about programming and SheCodes has made it very easy to understand the concepts and made it easier to code and follow along. Matt's teaching style is very intuitive and easy to understand! I highly recommend this course as a starting point and look forward to completing the advanced courses.
I really enjoyed this project, and learned a variety of practical skills in the process. The video content is broken down into small, easy to follow steps so that it is never overwhelming. It's cool to come away with a working app by the end of the workshop :)

Hey guys! I just completed my first foundation project based on Bangtan Sonyeondan, my favourite boy band. It was a bit trick, however, the lessons from Matt helped me complete this project by combining my two of my favorite interests. Looking forward to continue with the SheCodes Plus.

SheCodes is such an immersive workshop. Here we learned about the moment.js library, built to simplify the retrieval of data concerning times and timezones across the globe. I had a lot of fun building the World Clock App using this amazing tool.
It was great experience, I did enjoy all of the challenge given due to the fact that the teaching technique used for us (students) to understand and enjoy coding is excellent. I will definitely recommend it to other women. Great starting point.
OMG. That's all I could say. As enjoyable as it was, GIRL?!?!?!?! I have never had to apply my min as hard as I had to during this course. This was a really difficult workshop, but as long as you take your time and really practice you will get it. I certainly struggled with learning React, but I can honestly say I prefer it to regular JS.
The lessons are pretty easy to follow once you get accustom to them. Everything is so much fun to learn.

Great workshop! It was challenging, but you get to transform your design concepts into interactive and user-friendly experiences. You will learn to bring not only your website to life but also learn important responsive fundamentals for smaller devices with Bootstrap and media queries.
I never imagined learning how to code would be this easy. I had this idea that coding is only for people with a background in computer science but I'm so glad I was wrong. I am definitely continuing with the next workshops!!

Great course on how to make websites responsive.
SheCodes React workshop, personally, has been the most challenging one for me. But Matt made lessons very understandable. It took a lot of patience and perseverance. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work on such an insightful workshop. This workshop has been packed with relevant and important lessons.
I've always wanted to learn how to code and build websites but I was never able to find a reasonably priced and fun course that I could stick to. That all changed when I found Shecodes. I have had so much fun and learned a lot in just a few weeks. The interface is appealing and easy to use and I really like the fact each class requires you to immediately put what you learned into practice. This really helped new principles stick. I am looking forward to completing the next workshop!

Just completed the Basic workshop and I highly recommend it to anyone either who is new or already have coding experiences. I do have web development experience but I was not thought as detailed as what SheCode teaches and I am really satisfied with how much understanding that I received by the end of this workshop π
I would recomment this workshop as it gives good explanations of API usage and using GitHub in a real app context which is really helpful to build knowledge.
