I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the SheCodes Basic workshop, and I can confidently say that it was a transformative experience that exceeded my expectations. As someone with little to no coding background, I was initially apprehensive about diving into the world of programming. However, SheCodes Basic not only demystified coding but also made the learning process engaging and accessible.

The basics course is beginner friendly and highly enjoyable too.

This had been incredibly insightful, easy to follow and all in all, fun! It's definitely something I need to keep up as, like Matt says, it is easy to forget what you've learned even if you leave it a day or two. I recently completed the Addon Course featuring Moment.js and Timezone.js libraries, and it exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed learning how to use React, this workshop helped me to hone my JS skills and HTML and CSS skills I learnt in the previous workshops. It was challenging but totally worth it.

Learning to code was something that was in the back of my mind for awhile and since goin in and out of college I knew I loved it. For the last three years, I worked in the food industry, and even though I enjoyed my job I knew I wanted to explore a new field I wanted . This year I found myself with more time on my hands and decided that I wanted to explore coding. I wanted to expand my knowledge of the tech world, what it had to offer, and what my role could be within it. Honestly this is just the beginning of the course and its so much info and I love it.

Learning how to create a multi-page project was a challenge that I have learned to overcome. Thankfully, with the available help provided, I was able to construct the website and publish it on Netlify.

Great course! The learning curve is quite steep, and you will almost certainly hit bumps in the road over these few weeks. But I really enjoyed the repetition we got in the final couple of weeks, to contextualize everything we've gone over so far. Definitely consider this course if you want to expand on everything you learned in SheCodes Basics! :)

For me, I completed my A level studies here in my country Uganda 2021 during covid19 times and it has been so hard for me to continue further with my studies to the university due to lack of tuition money , but i always love to build stuff but i usually was limited by lacking some materials or tools so as i was chatting with my friend she introduced me to coding and i was fascinated by computers and electronics in general ,and highly interested in learning how to code because i want to know how things work. Hey there! So, when I first started coding, I thought it was impossible to understand. But you know what? Each week that went by, I found myself amazed at how easily I could comprehend the material. I owe a huge thanks to Matt and the SheCodes Team for being such great teachers and making the learning process fun!

I am always amazed at how much I have progressed and learned by the end of each workshop and it is also true for the responsive workshop. The responsive workshop is by far my favourite one, we got to learn about media queries, and CSS variables, and also build on the learning from previous workshops. Matt's explanation for each new information we are learning is easy to understand and follow as well as how the learning can be applied in different ways.

SheCodes has introduced me to the world of creating websites which is what I have been wanting to do. This is such a great opportunity that I am grateful for. The lessons are well paced and well explained.

It was highly challenging and I found myself in the thought "I don't want help, I will try to do this on my own" I wanted to be competitive with the others in the sense I didn't need to be rescued. But, I was the one who required to be saved at some lesson to complete the course. Having a goal made it even more fun. I recommend implementing a goal to have fun and feel like it is worth it.

I'm so glad I found such a great project. I liked everything, Matt explains it in an understandable way, and you can immediately test your knowledge in the Challenges. I would like more practice in javascript, but this is just the beginning, so probably more to come. Thank you very much to the team for creating an educational community for women.
