This project took my knowledge to the next level. I previously found Bootstrap and building columns daunting and confusing, but while working on this project everything just 'clicked' and I can't understand why I had so much trouble before. My skills and knowledge are growing with each course and the ability to apply what we've been learning brings it all together in the end!

I learned how to make a beautiful portfolio site with multiple working pages. On this site you can see an overview of all the projects I have been working on. I really like it and I am proud of the final result.
Honestly, this was all a breeze. Everything is just explained in a way that is easy for anyone to grasp. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process, and I cannot wait for "the more" that still awaits me.
I had no clue about coding prior to this course and thanks to SheCodes Basic, within just 3 weeks I was able to build a page that even my software-developer boyfriend is impressed with. :) The course is fantastically built and Matt is an absolute superstar - his next-level teaching talent combined with light-hearted humor made the entire experience into a fun game without a trace of stress. This workshop was so challenging especially towards the end. But in a good way. It made me see and believe that I can do hard things. Watching the weather app come to life was such an amazing feeling. I really enjoyed it.

It took me a while to decide what path to take, I really wanted a change in my life but I was not sure where to start and what would be good for me. I've been thinking for long time about joining a course like this but I didn't have any clue on how things were working. After I decided to enrol, I found these three weeks so easy to understand and get really on board with what was explained to me so far. Every single lesson was really interesting to follow and very well explained, I received a lot of support when it was needed and I couldn't be happier of the decision I took to join. I strongly believe I found something that keeps me motivated and wanting to learn more and more in order for me to finally change my career and do something I enjoy on daily basis.

Navigating through the world of coding languages and building websites brought a lot of challenges, however, Rome wasn't built in a day, and this was just the perfect foundation to lay for my future in the tech industry. I'm really excited on taking on new thrilling user-friendly projects and equip myself even more.
Lessons are very structured as always. I love that we are building towards working on building a functional web application, and the lessons throughout are broken down to teach the essentials we need to learn for the HTML, CSS, and JS + how to use GIT and deploy the website in the end. Felt like we have a goal to work towards while learning the harder concept. It's also always so good to see Matt code it from scratch at the videos and see the way he tries to debug the code when it's not working. so helpful.

I have zero background in the tech industry but after seeing the wonderful work life balance it has offered my husband, I became interested. I was scared to switch from something I am just getting comfortable with (nursing) and going to the complete polar opposite end. It really is like learning a new language but Matt and his SheCodes team have done a wonderful job of fitting it into bite sized pieces and offering enough opportunities to practice that you will in fact start speaking the language! It's a lot of fun. The best way I can describe it is being in an art class that asks you to replicate, or create, a piece of art with whatever means you know to get to it and its a puzzle! No one code is the same but the end product is very similar.
It has been a very tricky past weeks but I managed to get back on track with the work. very challenging, I can't say I didn't think of giving up when it came to the GIT and GitHub part but i pulled through. I'll forever be grateful.
Enrolling in SheCodes was one of the best decisions I've ever made. As someone with little to no coding experience, I was initially intimidated by the world of programming. However, from day one, the instructors' passion, expertise, and commitment to our success were evident.
