Learning react is quite difficult, but with the help of Matt's clear explanations, I built my first ever react weather app. This course is highly recommended to anyone who wants to start leaning react.

This SheCodes workshop was amazing! I learned all about AI integration, writing code to work with different AI models, and even how to tweak CSS using JavaScript. Plus, I got to play around with useful JavaScript plugins. Best part? I built my own AI Inspirational Quote Generator using everything I learned. Thanks, Matt and the SheCodes team, for supporting and teaching me so much!

This was a great introductory course to using AI! It was interesting to experiment with the AI contexts and prompts to get the results I wanted; I can't wait to use more advanced APIs in the future. I also find that the more projects we create, the more comfortable I feel with my skills and developing more interest in UI/UX.

At University, I learned about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but I didn't feel confident about my skills until I joined SheCodes. Now, I'm proud to say that everything I learned so far is much clearer to me, and I understand the concepts and how they work. After months of returning to studies in the field of technology, from which I had been away for almost 4 years, I went through a journey from the basics like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to more advanced information like understanding how GitHub works, hosting, exploring Visual Studio Code, and many other knowledge areas that revolve around development. Finally, I have reached the most current and exciting learning, which utilizes and expands all this knowledge: React. I can assure you that it was challenging yet gratifying to apply all the knowledge acquired, as well as my hobbies and patience, to complete this rewarding project. I recognize that I still have much to learn and improve to expand my skills, and I am grateful to the SheCodes team, who provided me with the support, encouragement, and motivation needed to take this further step in my journey
After taking a long break to learn a new role I have come back. It was amazing how much information I have already retained and how easy it was to just back in right where I left off. I attribute my success to the easy to follow directions of SheCodes and their wealth of resources. Of course after a few bumps along the way I finally have a beautiful portfolio.

The pacing is just right, allowing for steady progress without feeling rushed. By the end of the course, I was amazed at how much I had learned and accomplished. From HTML and CSS to JavaScript fundamentals. :)

I learned a lot in this 1 week course! My favorite was learning how to change themes on a page.
I've had such a fantastic experience working through this 8 week course. Through other course providers I had attempted to understand GitHub and JavaScript, but struggled to grasp the mechanics of them, however Matt has done it again! Not only do I feel super confident with GitHub, I'm also no longer struggling with JS. I had also previously started to look into APIs, but daren't have gone much further at that point. I'm delighted to have learned how to integrate APIs within my code and have managed to create a functionable weather app as a result. I'm excited to see what will come next. Thanks again Matt!
The Plus coursework was more challenging compared to the basics but the step by step explanations made it easier to comprehend. I'm looking forward to the next course.

As much as every workshop has it's own level of struggle, it surely was enjoyable.
I really enjoyed getting to learn to code with SheCodes, it has made me realize that I can do more than I think.
This chapter was hard, however I enjoyed learning every bit of it.
Getting to the final project was truly a journey however when it was time for my final and just completing the mock assignment gave me more confidence than I was expecting. I've truly been having an interesting and mildly enjoyable time learning all of this and evolving the more I code.

I recently completed the Basic to Plus course at SheCodes and I must say, it was quite the journey! I enjoyed this course and implementing two APIs into one application to bring my project to life.
SheCodes Responsive was so fun, I was able to make websites responsive across all devices and I am so pleased with how my portfolio looks on all devices. I cannot wait to make my older projects responsive and become more confident with media queries. I would highly recommend SheCodes to any female who wants to break into front-end development.
I've enjoyed this learning experience. The lectures were easy to comprehend, concise, and straight to the point. The material wasn't too heavy or overwhelming. This was fun and I would definitely do this again.

SheCodes is the easiest way to get started with coding. The way Matt teaches makes it very easy to follow along and I love how the information is presented in bite-sized videos, including a solution once a challenge has been submitted. This allowed to me learn and fully understand coding. Even though it was challenging at times, SheCodes made it fun!
Fun course to learn how to integrate AI into your websites, and it further expands skills in Javascript.
This workshop was a bit harder than the first one but in the end, I can confidently say I am now comfortable with JavaScript and using APIs! The whole workshop was challenging yet enjoyable because I could see the results of my work every lesson and to end the workshop with a fully functioning weather app is just so cool. I can't wait to continue learning with SheCodes!
was not impressed by the AI part at first, but have to say, I love it now! Extremely well taught by Matt to truly understand each part and step. Slowly but surely getting to a very "impressive level" according to my friends when I share that "yes, I did this all on my own". Love it!
The basics Add on was easy to follow, and a fun way to add special features to a simple project. With step by step video instructions, itβs easy to accomplish on any level.
This was the most challenging workshop so far. It was a little difficult to get all the React lessons together, but it was a boost of confidence to put together a real-life project. SheCodes does a fantastic job of teaching and leaving us wanting more.

SheCodes is good for beginners and their structured approach is convenient but what stuck out the most for me was the fact that it is very flexible especially since I'm a full-time student. The SheCodes foundation provided a foundation for me in terms of coding, from the workshops to the challenges I didn't feel overwhelmed which is great.

For someone who hasn't dabbled with codes since blogspot days, the program kickstarts with the fundamentals and provides a hands-on approach with interactive challenges. The workshops are well-structured, in bite-sized with live technical support via Slack and AthenaAi. Upon completion, I've gained a more in-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Highly recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in exploring the world of coding and bridging into the tech!
I really enjoyed basics-add on. I like how Matt will sometimes challenge us to think for ourselves instead of always holding our hand for everything. Nothing too hard to figure out on our own with a little bit of contemplation and/or research. I feel he is slowly starting to help us build the problem solving skills crucial for coding.
Love the classes, I was able to understand Java more.

The additional skills that were learnt in this workshop were essential. Its crazy the amount of things you can do with CSS and Javascript to make your website just that much better.

Having just completed the Basics programme, I would highly recommend this to anyone starting out on their coding journey. The training videos are bite-sized, so it's easy to take in all the information that you need. The concepts are broken down really well and the challenges and homework have been a lot of fun to complete. I can't wait to move on to some more advanced coding now and carry on the rest of the journey!
