I recently participated in the SheCodes React online workshop, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. As someone relatively new to coding, I was initially apprehensive about diving into React, but the workshop provided a structured and supportive environment that made learning enjoyable and accessible. The curriculum was well-designed, starting with the basics and gradually building up to more complex concepts. Each lesson was clear and concise, with plenty of hands-on exercises to reinforce learning. The instructors were knowledgeable and responsive, always ready to answer questions and provide guidance. One of the things I appreciated most about the workshop was its focus on real-world applications. Rather than just teaching theory, we worked on practical projects that helped me see how React can be used to create dynamic and interactive web applications. By the end of the workshop, I felt confident enough to start building my own projects from scratch

Building a (nearly) complete site has always been a goal of mine, and this course made it possible! With clear instructions, I was able to bring my vision to life.
After completing the Basic course, I can only warmly recommend SheCodes. The division of topics such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript into individual, short learning sequences and exercises is very intuitive. This means everyone can learn at their own pace and review what they have learned over and over again. Sensational concept!
Basic Add-on was a fun addition to learning more about coding. I love the styling part of my project, it makes my creativity come out. Again it was easy to understand and well thought out.
It's been truly challenging but was able to learn a lot, especially about debugging πͺππ©βπ»ππ
js is not simple and requires a lot of understanding. To understand as much as possible, I was a little late with the delivery of the project but it's gratifying to get it till the end. π©π»βπ»πͺπ»π₯

I really enjoyed this course! I have to admit that it seems challenging at first, but everything is well explained and very intuitive, and I like how you can go at your own pace and even delay the submission of exercises if you need more time. I would recommend the course to everyone who wants to get started on web development!

When I started this journey, I only knew how to turn on my computer and search for things on the internet. I had no idea of the inner workings of the global web and, although I might not yet be a master at coding, I'm proud to report that I can do so much more than type a question on a search engine and the skills I've learnt thus far will go a long way in whichever way I choose to use them in my world. I am absolutely looking forward to doing more and learning more.

Learning to build a website using a design made in Figma was really nice. Making a website for my favourite travel spot, Koh Samet, was a joy. Now, I'm excited to go back, and I hope my website inspires others to visit too. I totally recommend the course for anyone looking to learn to put design concepts into reality.
This course allowed me to enhance my understanding of javascript, css & html. And most importantly, I had a lot of fun creating the weather app!

Definitely a very challenging workshop. It was nice to see how powerful React can be and be able to build a weather app from scratch however, it felt very frustrating and some of the lessons seemed just like bits of random pieces of information. I found a lot of youtube tutorials were actually more helpful. Nevertheless, the team was always there to help and solve approached issues. I am very happy to have this introduction to React but itβs definitely not enough to feel fully comfortable using it.

Highly recommend this course. I have loved the pace of the sessions, along with the fact you can rewatch parts if you need to go over it again. While its all done remotely, you don't feel like you're learning on your own.

I was initially worried about diving into coding, thinking it might be too tough for me. But TheBasic workshop is well organized, with easy-to-follow explanations and challenging exercises that make you practice what you have just learned. The final project is just plain fun!

Learning React was a transformative experience. At first, the concept of components and the virtual DOM seemed abstract, but as I delved deeper into tutorials and documentation, things started to click. Building my first React application was both challenging and exhilarating. Each new concept I grasped, from state management to JSX syntax, opened up new possibilities for what I could create. As I gained confidence in React, I found myself thinking more in terms of components, breaking down UIs into reusable and composable parts. Enjoyed this workshop and was useful to learn how to build a responsive page using HTML and CSS rather than inserting Bootstrap. It was the first time I used the Figma template to build the website and that made me feel like a "proper" developer! Lots to learn in this two-week course but an enjoyable ride :)
