My experience with SheCodes so far has being amazing. I had so much fun, learning the basics of coding. Each lesson was fun and informative. Thanks to Matt and team for assisting me , they made it easier for me to understand. I highly recommend shecodes , because trust me you will get all the help and information.
Challenging, but worth it!!
I really loved completing this project. I decided not to follow the example given and create my own personal business website. I felt confident pausing the instructions and completing sections on my own, then watching Matt explain how he would do it. I felt such a sense of accomplishment!I feel like all the pieces are fitting together!
I love Responsive Coding. It blew my mind seeing how sites appear on mobile vs laptop screen. I rate it 10/10
The course was not only educative, it was engaging and fun I enjoyed every module. Matt's videos made it very easy to understand and follow whilst the weekly tasks helped with developing the skills and researching for better understanding. I have learned many skills and I can generally build an app successfully on my own. LOOKING FORWARD to learning more with SHECODES.

The React workshop was very challenging compared to the rest. It was a good experience to learn about React and what it does.
Taking a basic coding course was a great experience! Doing my first project was so satisfying and boosted my confidence. Matt is a great instructor and the whole experience was fun and very motivating. Now I feel ready to start my coding journey! Overall, it was a fantastic introduction to programming!
To be honest, React is not the easiest thing to learn. At times it feels a bit overengineered and unnecessarily complicated. But Matt splits it up in easily manageable tasks. So in the end I had a lot of fun learning and I am quite proud that I managed to build a weather application using React.
Love that each lesson in this course is more challenging than the last.
I gained more knowledge and confidence in this add-on and had a lot of fun building the world clock based on one of my favorite kawaii character!

The SheCodes workshops are a fantastic way to digest what can feel like overwhelming information, into clear, understandable steps. I am surprised by how quickly I have picked up front end web development skills since starting the SheCodes workshops.
I have enojoyed the Basics Add-on course.It was great to consolidate and deepen the skills acquired in the previous course.
Once again, I can't believe I've come to the end of another challenging but fun project. The SheCodes Plus Add-On project was truly engaging, and learning how to utilise JavaScript to create a functional world clock has been empowering. Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes platform, I've gained valuable skills and confidence in improving my coding.

After having had completed SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus, and all Add-ons, initially Python Basics felt relatively "simple". I was very happy with the repetition of certain terms used, and of course it did get a lot more complex week by week. By using rich, it makes it a bit more fun for a backend system :) Would totally recommend this course, Matt is doing an amazing job at teaching as always!
SheCodes Basics is an outstanding introduction to front-end development. With no prior experience, I learned the basics in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and by the end of the course, I created a fully functional interactive landing page. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone starting their coding journey or just wanting a better understanding of what coding is about!
I had a lot of fun to build my own website. It was tough but in the end so great to see that I could build it.

SheCodes was initially challenging since I had no coding background, but the detailed lessons and reinforcing challenges made all the difference. I loved being able to rewatch videos whenever I needed and use Slack to ask questions and get help with my codes. This made learning fun and effective!
I am very happy to finish Shecodes plus add-on today. Coding gets very exciting by the day and I can't wait to learn more to add to the knowledge I have gained from this workshop.

Learned so much
This project was part of my beginner workshop, where I gained a deeper understanding of advanced CSS background properties, enabling me to create more sophisticated backgrounds using images in my projects. I learned to utilize CSS transform, which allowed me to modify page elements effectively. I also explored CSS grids and began studying JavaScript. Furthermore, I acquired the skills to manipulate HTML classes with CSS, facilitating real-time theme changes for a website's styling.
SheCodes plus was definitely a bit of a challenge, especially towards the end. I've learned a lot working through this course. I've mostly learned that coding/web developing can be very frustrating at times yet it feels so rewarding when you finally figure something out on your own after half a day of trial and error, googling, chatting with Athena AI, and then finally a light at the end of the tunnel. You are often times looking for a needle in a haystack. However I really do enjoy it and my problem solving skills I'm sure are going to continuously be tested as I continue on through out the bootcamp.
Python workshop was a blast! Mat rocks π€. Highly recommend for anyone keen to dive into Python quickly.
This course took me much longer than expected, API was hard to get the hang of, but once I understood it was much much easier.
Found AI really interesting to work with, can't wait to continue with the rest of the workshops.
When I started this, I was very nervous that I was going to have trouble catching on. At 45 years old, my brain's not what it used to be. But Matt does a beautiful job teaching the material in a simple, concise, and easy to learn manner. His reassurance as he's teaching goes a long way, too. As someone passionate about coding, I've tried numerous platforms, but none have compared to the comprehensive learning experience offered here. From beginner tutorials to advanced projects, Shecodes caters to every skill level.
The Responsive Add-on was a fantastic addition to the Responsive workshop. It enabled me to build a page without relying on a framework like Bootstrap. This experience deepened my understanding of coding, and I am very proud to include this project in my portfolio!

Being over 30 with no experience in tech, I thought that learning a language code from scratch would have been too hard but I was wrong! This workshop was longer and more challenging, but it was worth it. I gained a lot of invaluable knowledge. Being in tech requires constant learning and the ability to learn technical concepts quickly. This workshop trained me to do exactly that. I feel like I can learn anything now. I really enjoyed every moment and I can't wait to learn more.

I had some basic web development experience however with the SheCodes BootCamp I was not only able to re-learn the basics in a fun engaging and hands-on way, but I also understood the concepts and their applications which I think is the most important part of coding if you were to apply these skills in real-world development.

I am glad we built another weather forecast app - it's good to compare your work then and now and to see how you can approach the same project differently. React itself was fun to learn - that rewarding feeling when you grasp a new concept is priceless.
It wasn't that easy, but here I am finally! Had a feeling throughout the process that the more I learn the more I feel I need to learn haha. So intense, but definetely motivating to not give up and help myself to understand React JS better. Thanks Matt for the knowledge!
With significant support from the SheCodes team, I completed the "My Dictionary in React" project, a wonderful and challenging experience that required applying all the learning acquired during the course. Throughout the development, I faced several challenges, such as integrating with third-party APIs to fetch dynamic data and adjusting the responsive layout for different devices. The project was a success, allowing users to efficiently and visually pleasingly access word definitions and images. The application was optimized for performance and accessibility, improving my technical skills in React and API integration, as well as enhancing my project management skills and decision-making under pressure. I still have much to learn, practice, and refine, but I am happy with the outcome. I want to especially thank my husband and the SheCodes team for their invaluable support.
