This was an amazing experience! I am really grateful at how much I accomplished with this workshop and I look forward to continue to learn more about coding and expand my mind and learn new skills along the way. The support of the team and community is amazing and my only regret is not having started this journey with SheCodes earlier. Hands down the best coding experience ever!

For me this is my first step to become a programmer and I'm happy I found SheCodes to start this journey. The videos are easy to understand and if you need help or have doubts the team in Slack will help you no matter what.

This is a fantastic workshop! The lessons are well designed and very practical. Matt is a great teacher, making it easy to keep up even when there is a lot to take in. He really shows how we can be more independent and problem-solve ourselves. The support team is incredible and easily accessible when needed. It was a great experience overall. If the year 2020 taught me something that's that we need to be the ones with the control over our lives. So I googled a lot for some basic programing courses, until I found out about SheCodes. Matt is a very good teacher, his way of explaining is very simple and easy for a total beginner as me, and the support team is excellent, with very fast responses. All together I am very satisfied with the SheCode courses, and will be coming back for SheCodes Plus or SheCodes Plus React definitely.

Highly recommend all three workshops with SheCodes! I do wish React was longer and it would be nice to have a different project from the weather app in SheCodes Plus, though I do appreciate seeing how to take a vanilla js project and build it through React. The SheCodes team is extremely helpful and I enjoyed being part of the community on Slack. After completing all three workshops, I believe more education is needed before applying to any junior development roles, but this is an amazing start and provides a lot of resources and knowledge to get you started in software development!

This workshop was challenging but incredibly fun. The course is really well structured and easy to follow, and the SheCodes team is very nice and helpful. The amount of time spent on building the final project was completely worth it. Now, I am looking forward to learning React!

SheCodes is one of the best beginners workshop out there. Matt is an amazing teacher, he takes the time to break things down to you and gives great context regarding each subject. With every lesson there is a challenge for you to test your knowledge and exercise what you've just learnt. Matt has a great team at hand helping you with any issues on the group working platform. I've thoroughly enjoyed learning html, css and javascript - seeing what they can do has been eye-opening.

Even though I spent a significant time among software engineers, I have always thought that coding is for people who are excellent in Math. I am truly relieved and inspired by learning that my bias was wrong. Thanks to the SheCodes team, I have discovered yet another tool for creating and sharing my ideas and content. The past two years I`ve been looking forward to becoming a Front-end developer, thus, besides my studies I was in the search of a challenging and affordable course that will cover the basics of web development, in fact, this is how i found SheCodes. Right off the bat, I can say that I’m not mastering React (yet), but I can ensure that these weeks of learning React were a great start to put myself into this learning process. One thing I’d love to see in the future is more courses for different project types. Matt breaks down coding in a non-intimidating way through bite-size lessons. The team is accommodating and there to help, as well!

The way I've always felt about coding would be the same as trying to catch a moving train: a rush of information in constant change and many different languages to make your choice of learning extremely overwhelming. The way SheCodes is structured makes the train move in a slower-but-steady pace, so you can learn on your own time how to code and feel confident that you too can become a coder. Amidst all of this, I'd say the best part about the workshop is the Slack community that helps you through doubts and mistakes you couldn't catch yourself. The members are extremely nice and helpful which made me feel like my questions weren't too basic or simple. Thank you SheCodes team and members for the wonderful learning experience!

Knowing nothing about coding, I decided to try SheCodes Workshop. Everything is 100% remote. SheCodes Team gives all the necessary knowledge and provides great support on Slack! I highly recommend learning more with SheCodes. 😉

SheCodes Plus was an amazing and challenging course. In just 2 months I have learned more advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript (comparing to what I knew from a previous course) and add up some more skills - like working with API, GitHub, Bootstrap and Hosting. The whole SheCodes team in the front with Matt was incredibly helpful and motivational. The whole course is made so unbelievable well that even though you might have tons of work or school, you still will happily watch all the videos, do all the challenges and basically spend 8+ hours each week learning to code. And luckily, you will see the results! I highly recommend this course to anyone who thinks that coding might be something interesting for her. I am definitely going to do the next course React and silently hoping that SheCodes will make some more courses.

I had no doubts about taking SheCodes Plus once I finished the initial workshop because of how much I enjoyed the learning process and I am glad I did! I wouldn’t recommend the workshop to people who already been through computer science class especially React. On the other hand I highly recommend this workshop for people who want to learn React or take their first steps into programming / development. Working in Growth Marketing this workshop was very useful to me as it enables me to understand websites better and perform simple coding tasks, such as adopting email and landing page templates in our CRM myself without the need to ask our Dev team for even minor changes. I’m so happy that I 3 weeks ago decided to take courses at SheCodes. I tried some different online coding courses before, but it didn’t work for me, I spend a lot of time, but by the end I could not code by myself. Look at me now, just 3 weeks at SheCode and I already can code my own webpage. A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. I loved the SheCodes+ course and working on my finale project. It was intense, and some challenges can be difficult, but Matt explains things super clearly and makes learning very fun. The team is so nice, and available to help. I liked that there is also a bit of interaction on Slack with other students. I've succeeded to complete the course while working full-time and being pregnant, and I'm not sure I could have done it with a different course. I'm really grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to learn more about coding.

Matt is an amazing teacher (with great taste in music 👌🏻) and the lessons are easy to follow but still challenging enough to motivate you and get the most out of your learning experience. Honestly sad it's over but will definitely continue coding and hope to see more SheCodes courses in the future. Thanks again SheCodes team! 😊

I had a wonderful time during the workshop. I'm a graduate student in Plant Biology, and I was looking for expanding my skillset during the quarantine. Classes were easy to follow, and the support team on Slack very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to program, even those without much time on their hands.

When I started I knew nothing 😃 and now I know a whole lot more!! And I feel very curious to learn even more 🔍 It feels nice to understand how "code" works and I'm getting comfortable with the "not knowing", searching for a "solution", trying it and finally (most of the times) finding something that works 😊 Thanks SheCodes team ⭐️ It was really great! I’m crying with one eye and laughing with the other. I loved this course. And I’m super happy and super proud that I finished the final project. I did it. At the same time this means that I have to say goodbye to SheCodes. And to an amazing journey: So many learnings, so many riddles, so much fun. I can recommend this course with all my heart and to each and every one of you. It’s – I won’t lie – a real piece of work. There are challenges where you’re going to tear your hair out. But imagine solving these. I felt so invincible! ;-) Thanks to the whole SheCodes team for their support, their warm-heartedness and the many, many learnings. I’m on fire! I enjoyed every section of SheCodes. Matt is good at explaining every process and the SheCodes team is very helpful with the challenges and assignments. I learned a lot and I look forward to learning more about coding, specifically CSS & JS.

I have no words to describe how SheCodes made me learn something completely new and from scratch since April. My first SheCodes Workshop was supposed to be in Porto (4-5th April) instead it was a full weekend online and it was awesome! Even far away i felt connected. I wish we could have been together, get to know each other. @Matt, when this is all over lets do a big reunion with live music :) These workshops are time well spent really, always a challenge :) Thanks to all the SheCodes Team for the support! Overall, it's been a fun coding experience! The lessons are well balanced with clear instructions and practical self-learning excercises. The feedback to the homework allowed me to deepen my understanding of the code and learn from the mistakes. I've improved my coding skills beyond my wildest dreams! Even though parts of the course have been quite difficult, the weeks have really flown by. The support provided by the SheCodes team (Matt, João & Lexi) has been awesome and there's always a friendly helper to lend a hand. I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and deep-sea dive into the unknown world of coding, as It's opened my eyes to potential career opportunities for the future.
