I really enjoyed learning React with SheCodes. Everything was explained in detail and Matt was a great instructor as always. I think this is a great way to learn the basics of this framework and all the really hard stuff about setting it up and how it differs from Vanilla JS. I am beyond grateful to the SheCodes team for adding the Responsive workshop to their portfolio! It was super intrigued and fun to work on two React projects in this course. Transforming all the ideas I had in the Plain JS version of the weather application to React was quite a headache for me, but at the same time really worth it. Special thanks to Joao for his support to get me out of React exhaustive loops. Also I find the what-to-do-next after SheCodes courses sent by SheCodes team very helpful. It's actually introduced me to Udacity courses to deepen my knowledge further in React.
I had tried to learn coding on many different platforms and felt like I was losing steam- until I joined SheCodes! As a busy mom with a full-time job, I don't have time for an intense full time bootcamp but I definitely needed a program with structure, deadlines, and a team ready to help. SheCodes fit that bill perfectly. I am excited to have turned in my Basics project and am quite proud of my work. I'm ready to embark onto the next workshop knowing my education is in good hands β₯οΈ
All levels of workshops here in SheCodes was worth to take because in the end of the day you will find yourself very productive despite of being from zero coding skills. Sometimes it's depressing when you'll find yourself in the middle of nowhere when coding BUT with the great help of the SheCodes Team and the people behind it, you'll be able to be back on the fun of coding. I loved this course! After the free class and the 3 weeks workshop, I was hooked on coding and decided to go for the 8 weeks workshop. SheCodes (& the SheCodes team) allowed me to explore programming starting at level 0. I have no formal experience and was very scared to begin and continue the other workshops. But Matt is very good at explaining and the way the videoes are cut and made is perfect for online learning.The team is supportive and responds quickly to questions & the community jumps in to help too. i was too stubborn to use them for help during the first course, but the SheCodes cominuty have been a lifeline during this workshop. im excited to start on my final workshop soon!

In comparison to the introduction workshop, this one was really challenging for me as I already had basic HTML and CSS knowledge, but not JavaScript. I tried the "going it alone" route by watching Youtube videos and became immediately overwhelmed and confused. After seeing the SheCodes ads while watching videos, I clicked on the ad and decided to try out the Free Coding Class that SheCodes offers. And I am so glad I did. I needed structure and community in order to learn how to code and Matt was the perfect instructor. He "decoded" coding for me and I realized this isn't just a phase - I really enjoy coding and I am looking forward to taking the next classes so I can continue to develop this new skillset. I found this course very useful to create a very complete app to add to your portfolio. In terms of difficulty, I think this course is suitable for a novice that has some notions of the topic and wants to learn more, and not so much the absolute beginner because it may get lost very easily. Other than that, the support you get from the technical team (aka JoΓ£o!) is amazing and the staff, in general, are super nice and supportive. Let's keep coding!

SheCodes Plus built on what I learned in the initial class. It was a really great transition and helped me hone the skills I had while adding extra layers of complexity. I especially enjoyed learning the API integration and it made me more comfortable in JavaScript when developing functions and sorting through arrays. Matt's videos are great and the SheCodes team is phenomenal at answering questions and helping you work through issues.
It was really helpful to take this course after completing the other three SheCodes workshops! This course really helped pull all the information together and made me feel a lot more confident in formatting my projects and keeping them responsive to a variety of devices. There are some really helpful tips in this course and creating the portfolio was essential for me and it helped to have all of my previous SheCodes projects to display! Now I've officially completed all 4 workshops and and I easily say, it was a lot of hard work, but was definitely worth it! The program started off with a review of introductory HTML, CSS, and Javascript and then proceed to improve upon those skills. At times, the course was challenging and the support of the SheCodes team gave me the support I needed to complete the more challenging tasks. I am incredibly proud of the Weather App I've built using HTML, CSS, and Javascript and I look forward to continuing to learn more advanced components.
I made it! It was fun AND challenging at the same time. We learn the very very basic of these 3 languages and have an overall idea of the depth of coding. It is very easy to get frustrated but the community and SheCodes team helps you go through it.

Joining SheCodes is one of the best decisions I've made in a long time, for myself. This workshop is amazing and perfect for beginners. The whole workshop is designed to provide you with the best experience and to give you all the tools you need to learn in a simple easy way. Everything is well organized and practical. Matt shows the beauty of coding, his descriptions are easy to follow and to understand. So, thank you so much Matt for this lovely journey. Additionally, a big thanks to all the SheCodes team. The support is unique and so friendly. I felt completely embraced by the SheCodes family. They are unstoppable! I am so happy for having this fantastic opportunity to learn about HTML, CSS and Javascript with the SheCodes Basics workshop. With this small step, I became more excited to learn more and develop new skills. If you want to have a very good learning experience as a beginner in coding, I truly recommended this workshop. I hope you fall in love with coding, as I truly have after this experience.
Definitively not easy as I thought. During this course I went through a few challenges but I am happy I didn't give up. I gain a more deep understanding on programing. Specially JS with the help of Matt Delac (our instructor) and JoΓ£o Lopes (our tech instructor) I was be able to build a app from scratch. I gain lot of knowledge and new techniques. I am looking forward to the next course React. After finalizing this course it gave me much more confidence. I see myself in the future thriving on this career path. Thank you SheCodes team.
The workshop was setup great! I learned so much throughout the three week course. It was really nice to have the support of other workshop members and the SheCodes team on the message boards.
Another great workshop from SheCodes! I love the way that Matt breaks everything down to digestible pieces and thoroughly goes over all the course work. I am very invested in changing careers and chose Matt and the SheCodes team to help me along my journey. Now onto the next workshop!
It has been so much fun learning with SheCodes. The lessons are easy to follow and understand, and the challenges help to practice what you've learnt. The slack channel has also been a great help, the SheCodes team is responsive and brilliant at explaining things. I'm sad this is my last workshop!
Learning with Shecodes and Matt was a great experience! I am now able to read code on the front-end and think about engineering logics with the engineers in my team as a product manager. It was challenging but truly satisfying at the end of the journey!
I am really glad I took Shecodes π©πΎβπ» instead of self-learning. Learning the basics through a guided video as well as having support from the Shecodes team and classmates really helped π€π½when I was confused π΅. And for all those who are terrified of coding because you think math ββ is involved... it's not (or at least not at this level). Like anything else, it's just a new language that needs to be learned and understood. If you have the time β, I would recommend taking the workshops given. Recently, I go on my websites as usual, but now I start to the different elements behind the scenes. These workshops have really opened up my mind to a new computerized world.
Another great online course from SheCodes! Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for helping and encouraging me to learn. Although we worked on a very specific project in SheCodesPlus, I felt I had the opportunity to explore my interests, take chances, experiment, and build the foundation for future learning.
