I joined SheCodes to have a first experience in coding as recommended by some friends. Matt is an excellent professor and it's amazing to have such a strong support from the SheCodes team whenever I got stuck in coding. Ok now this was exciting, challenging and confidence boosting at the same time. Its never easy learning a new skill but i genuinely had so much fun learning with this workshop. SheCodes Basics was a fantastic way for me, as a Product Manager, to gain a better understanding of the technical side of my job and improve my knowledge of what developers do. My journey through out the SheCodes Plus has been nothing short of amazing. Coding was a challenge I took up this year to expand my knowledge and skill in a different field and today thanks to Matthieu and the entire SheCodes team, it is fast turning into a profession and an hobby.
I was so scared to try something new, but I'm glad I did, and the SheCodes team made it easy. I had so much fun doing this course, I cannot wait to learn more!
I absolutely love this programme. It really helped me realise just how fun and creative coding can be! The challenges and homeworks allow you to put your newfound coding knowledge to work and I really like how the final project is based on our interests. Matt teaches these lessons really well and it keeps you engaged. I initially was hesitant about getting into tech, but this has really encouraged me to pursue it. Finally, i complete and submit my final project (weather app) SheCodes Plus. After SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus being a huge change, a lot of information and tasks. It was a big deal with me especially vanilla JavaScript and API. Full of extensive information about HTML, CSS, JS. Pretty much hard and dynamic. It's a great experience with SheCodes Plus. However, SheCodes Plus taught and introduce with me that, how to dance with frustration. Thank you so much Matthieu Delac Aussaguel. You are such an enthusiastic, well organized, passionate, talented and creative instructor. Before engaging with SheCodes workshop, i had a negative impression about online courses. However, SheCodes (Matthieu) helped me out from that negative impression about online course. Now, I'm more passionate to do some other online course. Thanks again to Matt. Just finished the last project and still cannot believe how much I have learned, with a great support of SheCodes team, during these 6 months. It was a lot of fun and quite challenging. Feels kind of sad the course to be over, but I am excited about where the new knowledge will bring me next.
This is the fourth month of learning how to code and I've built a solid front-end foundation with SheCodes Intro, Plus, and Responsive courses. Thank you so much for the ongoing support from the SheCodes team and our instructor, Matt, and for providing well-structured courses and coding challenges. During the last 5 weeks I've been learning how to make websites responsive, so that the user experience would be seamless no matter what device a user is on. I finished the first iteration of my personal website(something I've been trying to do for a while). Every time I thought I'm done, I would find more things to add/fix. I can't wait to start learning React next week!

Through this SheCodes workshop, I learnt how to make websites that are both responsive and SEO-friendly. I enjoyed the process of being able to come up with my own portfolio design on Figma to then making it come alive using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. I now have the confidence that I need to build more responsive websites in the future, and I hope to use these new skills hand in hand with my other creative skills and interests. I was interested in coding but I found it hard to get started. SheCodes made coding engaging and accessible for beginners! In 3 weeks, I have learned a lot and also gained enough confidence that I want to continue learning to code. Matt is a great instructor who describes step-by-step and provides many tips on the best software and how to make your coding experience easier. The team were also helpful and replied fast when I was stuck.
This course was a challenge -one I am so grateful to have taken on. I learnt so much and have grown far more confident in my coding abilities. There may be more to learn, and always will be, but I realised towards the end of the course that I now had the wherewithal and confidence to tackle any issue. A wonderful course which was so well paced and explained (thank you Matt and team). Highly recommend to anyone who wants to challenge themselves and arm themselves with an arsenal which will benefit them in any area of their life: problem-solving.
This journey has been lifechanging. After finishing the SheCodes Basic I was so excited to learn about the world of coding with SheCodes Plus. Little did I know back then, how much I will learn both about coding and about my very self as well. SheCodes Plus dove me to learn more and more, to not be satisfied with the average but to go beyond my limits. I am so very grateful for this opportunity. Even though I was struggling a lot (especially with the unit the conversion lol :D), it brought me an unexpected feeling of satisfaction in the end. Creating something that actually works in the end feels wonderful. Not to even mention the amazing SheCodes team led by Matt in every video that is a pleasure to watch and consisting of so many kind people that always offer a help on Slack. Thank you SheCodes Plus! I had an absolutely great experience on building my own app from one to ten!! I admit that it was not an easy one and was challenging for me sometimes. However, there's always a support from SheCodes team, so I had nothing to worry about. Through this experience, I gained a little bit more confidence in coding and realized that more comfortable to deal with it now. I am very much looking forward to take the next step and learn more about cording.
This is my third course and I can say that I truly enjoyed it all the way through. It was *definitely* more challenging but persistency is key and my understanding of it became apparent and utterly fulfilling. Once again, I would recommend it to anyone that wants to advance in coding as a career/profession and/or just a new skill to learn. Matt is a great instructor and his team are consistently there to help especially when something confusing arises and/or when you are stuck on a code. This is worth every penny. I cannot wait to start my next and final one after my break.
I was hesitant to join at first, as I'm new to coding, and I've got a toddler and a new born. I wasn't sure if I would be able to manage the workload or the complexity of coding; however, the course is broken down in small sections, and is easy to follow along. Matt is also a great instructor; he knows what he is doing and is able to simplify it all. Not to mention the amazing SheCodes team, who are always there to lend a helping hand. I'm really enjoying the course thus far, and I'm excited for the new opportunities that will open up to me.
I'd been thinking about taking a coding class for a while, but it was a little overwhelming not `knowing where to start. After seeing an ad for SheCodes and attending a free class, I decided to give it a shot. Matt was an awesome teacher and I enjoyed how each concept was broken down and the practice questions that came after. I also really appreciated the flexibility around completing the coursework since I work full-time. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I'm glad I gave it a shot. SheCodes has been a great introduction to coding for me and I have found it a fun and flexible way to learn a new skill around my full time job. The insight I gained on the workshop showed me coding is a skill I would like to take further and it gave me the confidence to apply for a role on the development team at my workplace. I am now part of team creating a reading game application for pupils in school to help advance their reading level.
I really enjoyed coding from SheCodes! I am so happy that I found an easy to follow and nicely paced intro to coding. I think it's great how I can always refer back to SheCodes for learning resources. He simplifies a complex process and makes coding exciting! Matt and Team, thank you! Prior to this course, I didn't understand why some websites don't look great on a mobile device, but after completing this course, I completely understand why now.
Learning how to code has helped me understand better how everything works, I've been able to communicate better with people in my team who are programmers and engineers. I still have a long way to go, but I do believe this is the best way to learn I've found so far, even though sometimes it's not the easiest.
