I put off learning how to code because for the longest time, I didn't know where to start! The format of SheCodes teaching is by far the best I've experienced. The learn at your own pace and in bite-sized chunks makes it easier to learn and somewhat addictive at the same time - you actually want to go to the next workshop to build on your knowledge. The fact that there is no fixed time for the classes and you can fit into your schedule is also great! I am shocked at what I have been able to create in just three weeks! Matt is a BRILLIANT teacher! I can't thank the SheCodes team enough for such an amazing programme (and I got it at a bargain - thanks Black Friday!) This is my second course with SheCodes. I love the structure of this course - first you have the opportunity to learn from Matt through clear and engaging videos, and then you get plenty of practice through challenges and homework which test and grow your knowledge further. The workshop does a great job of breaking down difficult concepts into smaller parts that are easier to understand. The instructor does a great job of explaining and providing many examples. There is also a great support team if you need any assistance. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in programming, but don't know where to start.

I started SheCodes Basic with very little knowledge about coding. After the 3 week workshop, I'm quite impressed with all I've learned. The lessons are well timed and organised, which made them easy to fit in a busy schedule. Matt explained everything perfectly and personally I didn't need any additional help, however if you need some, the SheCodes team is very accessible and ready to help you out. My perspective on coding has changed since I met your team and enrolled in SheCodes. I started out with no background in these programs. After completing the course and doing different coding exercises, I was deeply pleased to be able to overcome each one and helped me gain basic knowledge and high confidence in coding. Most importantly It has a well-structured learning path and easy to understand. So, I would recommend this course to anyone who want to start without any coding background.

The tools presented are of great value to me, I thank the entire SheCodes team for their effort, patience and performance, they have opened my eyes to better self-learning experiences, you are definitely the basis for my training in the huge world of web development, I highly recommend that if you are interested in discovering what is the world of web development, do it with SheCodes, everything is explained in detail and the tips are practical and applicable, maybe I would delve a little deeper into the use of commands in the terminal, always read the documentation helps a lot! My way through SheCodes was the right and necessary one, I have done everything from the beginning to the end, project after project from the basic level to the final project in React, and don't see how fast the time has passed, now I am able to find a place in the various projects that exist near me, and at the moment I am learning to work in a team of people with more tracks involved, this is another major challenge, to develop ideas. Joining SheCodes workshops has improved my coding skills and my problem solving techniques. The projects were ambitious but not imposible to achive, in addition, having a super supportive team backing up whenever facing dificulties or doubts was key fact to completing the projects.
This course was challenging, stimulating and a huge amount of fun. To my relief, many of the questions I had at the end of Basics were answered during Plus - demonstrating a good flow in the learning material. While at first it was slightly mind-boggling, I found that I loved working with JavaScript, and I certainly recognise the "power" of it's applications and abilities as Matt explains in this videos. The Plus course boosted my confidence in coding significantly, and as such it enabled me to think more creatively in how I wanted my App to be and function. I graduated from university in 2016. My Bachelor's degree was in Information Technology And Computing. All codes that I studied in SheCodes Basic I was familiar with, with one big essential difference. During my academic study, they were teaching us coding in a theoretical way. No one believes that we were memorizing every single long Code just to pass the exams. The result was that I hated something called coding. When I joined sheCodes i realized the right and sensible way to study the codes.
