SheCodes+ is an engaging and productive workshop. I learned SO much! While I am submitting my weather app project, I have a list of revisions that I will continue to work on. It's not easy, but Matt and the team make it very inviting. With patience, awesome video instructions, challenges with an answer key, and a solution video for each, it makes it possible to learn how to code. One thing that I really liked is how Matt doesn't edit out his mistakes in the videos. Instead, he shows you that he too, with all his experience, makes mistakes and shows you how he goes about fixing them. That makes me feel much better about making mistakes and makes me more confident to find a solution. I really enjoy these courses. They are not easy, but the learning process for anything new never is. I would highly recommend these courses to anyone who wants to learn how to code.
Having no experience in coding and starting from scratch I am surprised at the information I have learned in the past few weeks. Matt does a great job in his videos of teaching different topics and other tips and tricks to make coding more efficient and enjoyable. I must say I have avoided this field because I did not think I had what it took to grasp the information, but after this experience I think I can see myself wanting to go further and potentially see this as a career option. I am very appreciative of Matt and his team for making this learning process enjoyable.
I always thought that programming is something that is very hard to understand, but as soon as I started, I realized that actually, it is very interesting and creative! It was an incredible experience building my own apps with the SheCodes team. This is a very well-structured and informative course consisting of step-by-step instructions. I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics Workshop which covers basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding. Matt's instructions are clear and easy to follow. The material and documentation provided by the SheCodes team are very helpful. Most of all, I really liked how the workshop provided me with the opportunity to connect with so many interesting women interested in coding.

My SheCodes journey continues with SheCodes Responsive and it proved to be a bit tricky at first. Learning all the tricks and tips was a lot at first but once you physically do them a couple of times, you get the hang of it. Matt explains the concepts really well. He is a superb teacher. I'm really proud of how far I've come with the help of SheCodes. I don't think I could have done any of this without Matt and his superior team.

I had been considering joining SheCodes for over a year and so glad I finally made the decision to start. I am a social worker for disabled people. I am following this course to expand my knowledge and let's see what it will bring me in the future. What I really like about the SheCodes course is how the program is designed. It are short videos where you learn new skills and afterward, there is a challenge which are really doable and if you have any questions you can ask the team or other students and you will have a really quick and helpfull respond.

About a month ago, a friend of mine mentioned how she was going to start a course in coding, created especially for women. I have to admit, at first I only checked the SheCodes website out of curiosity, but after the free coding class I was hooked! I had to try it! And let me tell you, I am so glad I did! Lately I have been trying to get myself out of my comfort zone as much as possible and this is the first time ever that I purchase and finish a course, completely unrelated to the field that I have studied in. After just having finished my final project, I feel over the moon, proud of myself and I look forward to continuing my coding studies in the nearest future. I have always wanted to move my career from retail/hospitality to coding as this is something I am passionate about. I had a very crude understanding of coding but nothing that could produce a product. Through this course I have gathered skills to create something I really like, that I could use to start learning more with an end goal of getting a job in development. The team and other students are lovely and helpful. This is a great introduction into coding.

Very fun and well-structured course! I started learning coding with SheCodes 6 months ago. I submit my final project today, and the journey has been life changing. 6 months ago, I had zero idea how to write an h1 but today, I submit a fully functional dictionary app I coded from scratch. SheCodes has been great for getting a taster of HTLM, CSS and JavaScript to see if I liked it. I liked that I could do it at my own pace and that there were challenges after each lesson which helped me to practice. I'd recommend the short course to anyone who's not sure what to expect or whether you'll like it as you learn enough to give you a taster and see if it's something you'd like to pursue further as you'll need to invest quite a bit of time and effort and money if you like what you see and consider it as a carrier change. This React workshop gained me so much knowledge that I thought wouldn't be possible. This is my third course with SheCodes. I am so happy to be part of the students who benefited a lot from the program.Matt is a wonderful instructor. What a journey! That wasn't easy but that was always fun. The format is perfect: videos are short, every step is cut down easy-to-digest new information & regular interaction with the group & teachers (Slack/homework) really helps with accountability & progress. Coding is somewhat addictive and I already can't wait for the next workshop. Thank you Matt & team.
While I am excited and thankful for the final weather app project, I believe that the Week 04 and 05 modules should be retooled. There is much to learn about JavaScript and it feels as though those two weeks in particular for Plus are too dense and could easily be broken into two sections each. If SheCodes could also experiment with how they display lessons, this would be beneficial for those that learn in different ways. Showing VSCode constantly while building the code but not showing how facets like different JavaScript rules or CSS declarations flow into each other became confusing in some instances. There was also a discrepancy in recording volume between the weeks and even modules within each week so sometimes it was difficult to hear Matt's instructions. The Team that works on Slack to answer questions and give guidance continue to be informative and empathetic, to which I am grateful. A cool piece to build, the overall presentation and class flows could use some updating.

SheCodes has completely changed my previous perception about coding. The workshop is structured in a way that is approachable and easy for students to understand the fundamentals about coding with good exercises to practise what you learn.
