It took me sometime to finish the basic course but - I did it! 💪 The first week was a little hard for me to follow, which make sense because this is my first ever coding class but as I build more stuff and get acquainted with it, I started to really enjoy it! My favorite is java script because it took sometime for me for things to "click" with CSS and when it did it made a lot of sense. Doing the challenges, home works and final project really helped a lot because actually seeing the result of your work feels good and helps you get more motivated. I absolutely love this course, I was able to pace it at the right time specially I am a SAHM, and it can be extremely challenging to make time. Thank you SheCodes team for your patience with me!

Building my weather app was both a challenging and rewarding experience. At first, I felt overwhelmed by all the moving parts—integrating the API, displaying accurate forecasts, and making sure the icons and temperatures worked perfectly. There were moments when I doubted myself, especially when things didn’t display as expected. But through persistence, problem-solving, and a lot of trial and error, I slowly started to piece everything together. Debugging each issue, step by step, helped me grow more confident in my skills. I learned the importance of patience and seeking out solutions, no matter how tricky the problem seemed. By the end of the process, I not only had a functional weather app, but I also felt a real sense of accomplishment. It reminded me that challenges are just opportunities for growth, and with determination, there’s nothing I can’t conquer. I'd like to thank Matt and the team, y'all are amazing. Completing the SheCodes course has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. As someone who is currently studying Applied Mathematics at University, within 3 weeks I got to learn and quickly grasp as well as thoroughly understand the basics concepts of HTML, CSS and JavaScript through SheCodes which is something that not even my university lectures could do. Matt indeed is an excellent instructor, he explains everything consisely and each lesson; though brief; is very insightful given that this page is made for busy women. I enjoyed every bit of learning and had a lot of fun doing the homework, the final project was the cherry on top. 🚀 Excited to share that I’ve just completed the SheCodes Responsive Add-On course! 🚀 As part of the course, I built a travel website focused on Western Australia, which is now live and open-sourced on GitHub, hosted through Netlify. This project allowed me to dive deeper into responsive design, working with CSS grids, HTML tables, CSS filters, and HTML embeds. SheCodes has once again exceeded my expectations! The course was engaging, accessible, and packed with practical learning that has boosted my confidence in building responsive websites.
