I am so happy I finally completed this workshop, mainly because I was busy with it while also writing my university final exams but thanks to the shecodes team I was able to have an extension and have time to finish my exam without deadline pressures. The Delac Foundation Program has taught me so much, it was amazing getting to learn and practice new skills hands-on all at the same time. I really enjoyed participating in the real-life challenges the SheCode's team set up as will as the little projects I had to complete. I really enjoyed the whole SheCodes experience and hope to learn more of what SheCodes has to offer in the future.

The python course is my favourite so far. The supportive community, structured learning environment, and hands-on projects have empowered me to build real-world skills in coding and problem-solving. 🚀 Why I started: I love learning, especially when I can flexibly integrate course content into my everyday life. Programming - especially frontend and web design - has always fascinated me and I wanted to finally delve deeper into the subject. 🌟 💡 What I learned: From HTML Input Types to Select Elements to moment.js and moment timezone - this course not only showed me new tools, but also helped me to significantly deepen my JavaScript knowledge. 💪 The biggest challenge? JavaScript is super fun ... as long as the code works. 😅 But when it doesn't, it can be really challenging. I've learned to stay patient and systematically look for solutions - and that sense of achievement when everything works is priceless. 🙌 ✨ My highlight: My favorite part of every project is when the basic structure is in place and everything works - then I can really let off steam in CSS styling. Still a media designer through and through. 🎨💻

Matt again surprised me with his teaching method. Super thoughtful and thorough all throughout the course. He explained the context well and repeat the logic many times, understanding where it can get tricky and emphasize how important the coding logic should be implied in certain ways. The workshop is fun and new ideas are introduced at a steady pace, each lesson building on what you have just learnt. I really love the way complex subjects have been broken down into relatable modules, making them easier to learn. As someone with ADHD it can be difficult to find a style of teaching that fits, but Matt and his team seem to have got it just right. Although it's hard work, I've had so much fun working on the challenges and using new skills to complete the final project.

SheCodes Basic is a fantastic workshop for women to learn basic coding skills, with an opportunity to add more courses in advanced coding to prepare for professional employment or for personal use in creative website development. It is backed by an extensive coding team and lots of peripheral pages for color styles, uploads, videos, and many outlined examples with helpful information. I highly recommend SheCodes for women who want to learn computer coding.

Im braving the new waters of coding and thriving! It still amazes me how SheCodes has made coding so exciting and simplified the world of coding for me! I started my journey with absolutely NO Experience or Knowledge in coding and I have since created so many beautiful apps with SheCodes. I love how my creativity can be channeled in my coding as I create. I never knew there was any aspect of creativity in the world of coding ! I always thought it was very analytical and something I would never be able to understand! Wow! what a 360 it has been for me. Thank you again to the entire team at SheCodes.

This section has given me in depth a better understanding of JavaScript. Which I feared I was never going to get the hang of it. I was able to troubleshoot most bugs I was encountering based on the content of the videos but also help from the team. I will say this project provides a big example of powerful functionality. Furthermore, I can say I feel more confident in moving forward with my coding journey thanks to Matt and the team.

I absolute enjoyed going through all the plus exercises and the team was so helpful and responded quickly because there were some things that I struggled with and have the team so readily available and happy to help made studying all the more enjoyable.

I have had an amazing experience learning how to code through the SheCodes Basics course. When I started , I was worried that I might not be smart enough to learn how to code however the support from the SheCodes team together with the flexibility of the course have made the prospect of learning the basics of html CSS and JavaScript over the course of three weeks when I knew nothing about coding prior less over whelming and extremely enjoyable. Our instructor Matt presented the work to us in a way that was very easy to grasp and the practical component of each lesson helped with my progress and made learning a lot more fun. After having successfully completed the SheCodes basics course I feel a lot more confident in my ability to succeed as front-end developer and I am super excited to continue learning.

The course and the process of coding is gradually solidifying itself as an active interest in my life.
