Editing HTML with CSS has always been a nightmare for me. I am not a web designer and neither am I a theory person. So some external training videos and articles only increased my anxiety so I stopped trying to learn HTML and CSS. I have always been in the backend development only. In Matt's tutorial videos, the placement of div, and the way to use inspect to see where my padding/margin issues are, it was mind-blowing and made a lot of sense. With Matt's video, I was able to understand the theory without even trying harder. I'm amazed at myself when I can easily build a landing page. Of course with some additional resource references, but hey, it's still great progress for me! Kudos to me for trusting SheCodes and kudos to the SheCodes team for turning my wish list into a reality!
Matt took me by the hands into the world of JavaScript. The React Add-on workshop was a great journey to deepening my knowledge of React and becoming used to its techniques and cores. Working on the Dictionary project was interesting and fun, even when sometimes it was frustrating to deal with some of the errors that occurred along the way. But once you fix them and everything works smoothly it gives you so much faith in yourself. A big gratitude to Matt Delac for being such a great instructor and for the SheCodes team's support during that journey.
Python Advanced Workshop was really intense and very engaging. I learnt about Object Oriented Programming to help design codes in a much more organized and scalable way. I also learnt more on how to manipulate files - read, write and extract data to make it presentable and easy for people to understand. I am also able to display data extracted using Python plots for better visualization. The most challenging yet rewarding for me in this workshop was learning advanced techniques on csv file manipulation and complex data structures in Python. I learnt how to play around with dictionaries, filtering and aggregating data. At the end of the workshop, I was able to build a project using real life csv file to create data visualization using Python. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this coding program. As someone with a passion for rugby, I have always admired the power of teamwork and perseverance, qualities that I’ve found reflected in this coding journey. Worse i did not understand anything about coding , tried different youtubers to teach me but SheCodes is the best i won't lie. The team behind this program has created an environment that fosters growth, creativity, and collaboration. The instructors and mentors have gone above and beyond in providing clear guidance and support, helping me navigate the complexities of coding while pushing me to reach my full potential. What I appreciate most is the sense of community and the collaborative spirit that defines this program. Like rugby, coding isn’t something you do alone – it’s about working together, learning from each other, and striving for success as a collective. I’ve not only gained technical skills but also a deep understanding of problem-solving and teamwork, which will stay with me for life.
The lessons are real fun and easy to follow along with! Finding time to code during the weekdays has been difficult. The days I coded on the weekend SheCode support team was still available to help when I needed it.

It was really fun building the World Clock project for the Plus Add-On. It would have been cool to learn how to have a search bar that includes all time zones within the Moment library. A very well structured class in integrating AI into coding projects. Absolutely unmissable for anybody hoping to work in the industry today.
