SheCodes Basics is a very well organized workshop! It is easy to follow each lesson step-by-step, even without any previous programming knowledge/skills (which was my case). In just 3 weeks, this course taught me the most important basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I can now understand the building blocks of any HTML landing page. The SheCodes basics workshop was excellent! I had been debating a career change and was hesitant about diving in and spending a lot of time and money on something I wouldn't enjoy. The combination of short videos and homework assignments made coding easy to digest. Understanding how React works, especially its component system, was a real challenge for me. Before SheCodes, I've tried other free code camps/coding websites but was always left frustrated as I couldn't understand what I was learning or what I was doing. However, the step-by-step (very hand-holding) approach by Matt and his team has restored my confidence and helped me successfully build a webpage. My advice for new beginners who are eager to create: follow the instructions before getting carried away and wanting to build your own hobby project. Trust me. This will save you a lot of time and frustration.

React was extremely challenging for me, I am so glad I purchased the add-on so that I could get more practice! I really enjoyed coding my dictionary app!
